माथिको फोटो काठमाडौंका नेवारहरुले काठमाडौंको भित्री भागमा झुण्ड्याएको तुलको हो। यसमा लेखिएको छ- नेवाः स्वशासन क्षेत्र। बाङ्गेमुढाको एउटा मन्दिरमा राखिएको यो तुलको भाषा नबुझेर एक पटक त प्रहरीहरु हेरेको हेर्यै भएका थिए। पछि प्रहरीले यसलाई खोसे। नेवारहरुले लोकतान्त्रिक आन्दोलनमा गरेका प्रमुख मागहरु मध्ये स्वशासन र समावेशी लोकतन्त्रको माग पनि एक हो। आज लगातार तेस्रो दिन नेवारहरुले काठमाडौंका भित्री भागमा लोकतन्त्रको पक्षमा नारा चर्काउँदैछन्। यो ब्लगलाई ‘सेड्युल इन्ट्री’ गरेर हिँडन लागेको हुनाले तपाईँले यी शब्दहरु पढिरहनु हुँदासम्म काठमाडौंका भित्री भागहरुमा प्रहरी र आन्दोलनकारी नेवारहरुबीच लुकामारी चलिसकेको हुनेछ। अनि हरेक दिन झैं ७ बजेदेखि ८ बजेसम्म ब्ल्याक आउट पनि हुनेछ। भित्र भिडियो ब्लग दुई वटा पनि छ।
अस्ति नेवारहरुको आन्दोलनको पहिलो दिन प्रभावकारी थियो। तर हिजो दुई ठाउँमा कार्यक्रम भएकोले होला, त्यति प्रभावकारी हुन सकेन। एक ठाउँमा कार्यक्रम हुनु अघि नै प्रहरीले हस्तक्षेप गर्यो भने अर्को ठाउँको कार्यक्रममा त्यति मानिस नै जम्मा हुन सकेनन्।
थोरै सख्यामा रहेका आन्दोलनकारीहरुलाई देखेर प्रहरीहरु पनि एक सेल टियर ग्यास हाने पुग्छ भन्दै थिए। आन्दोलनकारीहरुले भने हानेको भए आन्दोलन चर्कन्छ भनेर प्रतिक्रिया दिँदै थिए। अधिकांश नेवारहरु झ्याल र ढोकामा बसेर रमिता हेर्दै थिए। ढिलाचाँडो उनीहरु पनि पक्कै आन्दोलनमा आउने छन्।
आन्दोलनकारीहरुले चोक-चोकमा आगो बालेर सडक अवरुध्द गरेपछि प्रहरीले लखेटे। यी गल्लीहरुमा अलि बढी आन्दोलनकारी भइदियो भने ०४६ सालको रणनीति अपनाएर प्रहरीलाई नै घेर्न सकिन्छ। तर अहिले अलि आन्दोलनकारीको कमी देखिएको छ। त्यसमाथि आन्दोलनको रणनीति गिरफ्तारी नदिने भएकोले यसको प्रभावकारितामा अलि कमी आएको हो। तर जब प्रहरीले यहाँ दमन गर्नेछ, तब स्वस्फूर्त रुपमा स्थानीय बासिन्दा उत्रनेछन् र त्यसपछि प्रहरीले नियन्त्रण गरेर नियन्त्रण गर्न सक्ने छैन यो स्थान र माथिको तुलमा लेखिए जस्तै स्वशासित क्षेत्र हुन बेर लाउँदैन।

To Nepali Nagarik,
I don’t know why some people do not like janajati people to come to the streets with their identity. They have their own pains and problems due discriminative state policy which non-janajati people cannot feel and understand. If we are opposed to janajati voice, we are not advocating for democracy any more. In democracy, everyone must have right to hear and to be heard.

नेवारहरु कुनै पनि जातिको विरुद्धमा छैनन् । वित्थामा किन डराउनु हुन्छ? उनीहरुको आन्दोलन जातिय पराधीनता विरुद्ध मात्र हो जुन सच्चा लोकतन्त्रमा मात्र सम्भव छ । बरु उनीहरुको आन्दोलनलाई सरकारी घुसपैठिया र भिजिलान्तेहरुले साम्प्रदायिक रुप दिन कोशिस गर्लान्, त्यसप्रति चनाखो रहनु होस् ।

Yes, of course the protest should be continued on until the king is thrown out from the complete power. The Economic condition is going down day by day due to the kings and his cabinet minister activity The security personals are forced to act brutally for drowning the voice of the people. The current King Gyanendra’s Government is totally unaware of the human right of the people. Most of the protesters are being shot on peoples head. I can’t see this kind of further cruelty. To summarize, I think the protest should be continued until the rule of the country by the people and of course for the people.. And I am ready to bear any kind of situation that is being created by the protest as I think it is easy to bear the difficulty for a certain period rather then the whole life.

I felt a bit sorry to read news these days that many Janajati Organization including those of Newars are on the street not as Nepalese Lokatantrabadi but as a representative of particular caste/ethnic group.
Can we go to the street only as Loktantrabadi?
What we want to do after the establishment of Loktantra? Jatiya Jhai-Jhagada? Of course not. If so, then why should we not begin from now.

But there shouldnot be any revenge between Newar and other caste. Be sure we all are Nepali. There should be equal opportunities to those who are capable and also to make capable equal opportunity should be provided
