If maiosts are honest on what they are saying about democracy, human right, free political competition, why they are insisting on holding arms during the CA election. In their acts, they have never shown respect to other’s political idealogy and principle.
Howver, what they have termed about the attitude of SPA is correct. Maoists had the decisive contribution to Jana Andolan-2. So, they should be in the government and major player in the political arrangement. Hope, Maoists will not become currupt like past rulers, including from political parties. It would be a great justice to the people of Nepal if Maoists can help prosecute all corrupts belonging to girija, madhav, sher bdr, surya, lekendra etc group.

Thanks for providing prachandas interview.Thanks to Kantipur telivision too.I found prachanda’s interview quite interesting.He is talking the real issues of Nepal.Actually,he is right that SPA just wants to show nepalese ppl that they are doing best and trying to get credit of JanAndolan 2.Actually,they should have declared all the proclamation they made in alliance with Maoists coz this achievement is not just because of SPA but its combination of all nepalese ppl,Maoists,SPA and civic society.SPA should better go for a dialogue with maoists and solve the problem from root and create a peaceful democratic country.Maoists want to come into mainstream politics and abandon the war so this is the right time for all of us otherwise nobody know what’s gonna happen again.lets pray for permanent peace.

i exactly don’t know how they(maoist) gonna behave but at this moment i exactly agree with him that rather indulging in the minor and debatable points at this time peace keeping is based upon dialouge and people ,we are so sick and tired of war……….we need peace peace and only peace,,,,,,possibly permanent peace……..so everybody should be very cautious and the will and manded of people should be addressed by two powers without any delay.

in village cant be imagined without visiting those place. i read few days back one news in saptari people were so eager to see prachanda and the villagers made prachanda speak and listened him 5 am in the morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, wots the symtom of this news?

Certainly there will be some difficulties to move ahead through contituent assembly but the idea which put forward by supremo will be best guide line in our country in present situation.

I am amazed to read most of the comments in this blog, particularly regarding Maoists activities and their message. I take it that internet users are limited among Nepalese, but by virtue of being literate, there is a lot in their hands and expectations is that this opportunity will be used in looking at things more consturctively.
I am sorry to say that comments on “sahayogi haroo ko suchi” which is mostly from the countries where millions of Nepalese are economic migrated, are more meaningful, as they look so encouraged they express in few words and extend their contributions!
My frustration is that we have not learned to stand on the ground of reality before making comments about things, because we also do not know what is good and what is bad. Our ancenstors did not know what is good in having Nepal was united but they fought for the Gortha king, neither they knew who were Janga Bahadur and gagan Singhs while taking part in Bhandarkhal parba and kot parba. neither they were convinced to throne Tribhuban in 2007 BS. In 2015, we did not know how clever Mahendra was, in 2019 we had no clue why we supported Panchayat.
What about the multi party leaders? Did we know them, what they had done to Nepal in past 15 years, could they add a single brick on nation’s development – the only thing I could see is selling achievements of panchayat era to their beloved (including and as industries to the merchants). Now, we are so fast in questioning Maoists and their ethics. One thing we need to remember that Prachanda and Baburam did not go on hiding to enjoy nature or because they are in love with mule tracks. They went on hiding because the progressive 40 point agenda was not acceptable to the present seven party alliance and the ex-panchas. I salute these comrades for running a kind of Holy War against all these feudals, oppressions who are fighting only for the positions and their personal benefits. Success of Jana-andolan II can not be attributed to these parties or charismatic (?) prime-minister because he had putforth attractive agenda to offer for Nepalese people. 99% of credit goes to the Maoists not just they have arms, not because they were also again the king, simplyu because, those who appeared in the Shahid manch during Maoists meeting was also part of the mass at that time. Because, it is the Maoists who kneeled down the SPA for the 12 point agreement.
I expect but hope no one will comment “badho janne bujhne manchhe aayo!” We should remember our proverb “bahun le chyau khaye po swad paaunchha!” People commenting from airconditioned rooms and offices or lieing to others that they are waiters in beautiful resaturants in foreign countries” would never understand the pain 90% of agrarian population is facing – you have to see what the economic migrants in Qatar and Malasia thinks to know the meaningful reactions! They and the farmers are the strength of the Maoists ideology and we should not undermine their opinion, better should be prepared to face it!
Declaration of supremacy of parliament, which is in principle long dead and through it implementation of 40 point agenda presented by Maoist, neither can deceive the population nor can bring about any changes. There is a evolution that brings changes if not revolution. Any changes coming through this parliament and the govenrment, which came into being neither hrough revolution nor through evolution, are i)something superficial, ii) targeted at deceiving of people, iii)full of prejudice as guided by some external elements. These changes without involvement of all the struggling parties would never be a meaningful undertaking. Now the situation is coming to rather a very conflicting situation at the end will trigger a civil war like situation which we should avoid.
The seven party alliance as well as other parliamentary parties are well aware about their position in the country. It looks really as shame as bringing Panchayat by Mahendra. This and similar other steps will further strengthen Maoists as such that the Jan andolan III would be driven by people and all political powers will be washed away like big boulders and huge trees. Nepalese people are not as stupid as in 2007, 2019, 2036 or 2046. People understand this is absolutely immature politics.
Let us look forward and hope that the parliamentarians and party leaders who appeared prior to Jan andolan II a little bit of lesson, would get back their “sadbudhhi”.
Let us think about the country and people, before thinking who you know in which a party or in the government. Nepalese are not going to sleep back this time, and ignore all dirty tactics being played.
I shall come back ocassionally, I again request not to label “Maoist” to participants of this site just because of appreciating the progressive ideology and thinkings!

What i found in his interview are:
Maoist is not included in the government
Reference of British and Russian monarchy to justify the killing.How about French revolution.
He admitted the killing less or more(it’s killing)
He indirectly hinted the 20th century not pointing what happened in that time that he is different.
He does not like democracy or anything that does not involve his party.
He did not touch about Buddha but like secularism.
He also admitted that his SENA cannot defeat the nation military but defeat the police.
He said the freedom of speech in military towards the country and at the sametime he became proud of his power of order to quite his Sena in the country.
He did not deny the indian assistance but wanted to free all the maoist from jail. He like free broder.
He said he was serious when he talked to GP- the goal was to free the camrades.
He wants republic but presidential type and he did not even touched the word democracy or loktantra
He failed to refernce the American revolution agnist british royal imperialist, constitutional convention, civil rights and the final constituion with the power to ammend whenever it is neccessary. Big mistake!
He touched the involvement of india and china but he did not specifiy the way of help TARUL nepal needed.
America is anti dictator and monarchy never but he did not know the right thing about the real ideals of 21th century democracy.
He said he is full of sorrow of innocent kiiled but he did not talk about the compensation to their family.
He warned that lion is dead where is my share- who is real vulture prachanda or girija 7 party.
He was very soft spoken thats what happens when any movement reach the Tudikhel.
They did not talk about the daily abduction of school children and why or what is the teaching, shoul mature people also be taught.
He said 7 division but did not tell in number.
He pushed the parliament proclamation back to the 30 years autocrat.
He suffered from the credit problem.
He mentioned the land reform pointing rajauta tarai land and said he is BAIGANIC.
whether he pointed to bring the land into the productive sceince or people into the political science was not clear.
When he said Baiganic I felt like the arrogant father started saying i am the father of law. and I asked him- no you can’t be a father of law and later i found out that his son was law student. so be clear?
Instead of looking at the new potential of national soilders and encouraging them to understand that they were under bad master for the master not for the nation. He was not clear about the blame that must go to the king not to the soilders.
This is like i did not order to kill but sana did because they were so wild enjoying guns like KATTIKE KUKURS AND king did not order but they killed anyway because they also had gun but they were in KHOR.
He also complained that he did not have barrecks for the sena and also he did not like the KHOR.
He ignored the national soilders which is bad.
He was not clear about the process of two different recruitment that people did not go to flatter the king but they joined as source of stable income.
He said his senas are not his slave because they fully understand why they are fighting for.
He did not stress on capacity of normal people to understand the constituent assembly and election but just refrenced to remove the monarchy and to creat the political room for the lowercast people by the election under the united states security. But he simply beleived on people beside his senas that they will not stop untill the election. He did not talk about the money involvement.
As a leader he is stick to the goal but as a commander his voice was so low.
He also said he was Bhabuk but we need to know what is bothering him beside the politics.
He distinguised both king birendra and gyanendra and interesting is dhirendra involvement with the maoist.
He was underground in india and talked about camrade in the jail to free but he forgot to ask about the prostitution of innocent nepali girls.
he said SANTI AND BIKAS starts only after new constitution as a new yug start afterthen but he did not extend on that.
He hints the word GANATANTRA as the private property of Maoist without touching democracy and freedom and law.
This interview is incomplete.
I prefer the democratic republic presidential system. I hope prachand will not go for communist republic like that of china. When you go for the democratic republic presidential system then you are with the spirit of America that favors local participatory democracy.
