First, let me start from a friendly discussion. We came to know from Umesh and his blog. Thanks for him. The comments do not mean to heart any people like you felt. It is bassically directed towards the attitudes and thinking, which can be reviewed by further discussions. Let us try to understand each other this way !
Second, if I have understood you correctly, we both are standing on the same side of a river, the freedom side of nepali people, but not about the “samanti durbar and semi-feudal and semi-colonial system”. We have definetely different ways of perceiving things. Never mind! this how the society runs. In my view, the monarchy in any fashion is turning to be a historical dream and so I am not interested in it. The rest can be discussed friendly !!
Third, recently the direct rule of the monarcky has been temporarily stepped down by the peoples strength. CPN (M), SPA, civil society and normal people including several profesionals (except the royalist) took part actively in the movement. I believe, it is not difficult to understand that what was the aim of the movement. It is also true that the SPA gained momentum only after the 12-point agreement in November 2005. Without being baised, we all know who has been taking sincere efforts to bring the autocartic monarchy to this satge in our country!!!
Fourth, despite the high level of sacrifies in the country, there have been limited cusmatic (temporary) changes so far. It means, there are a lot to do in the days ahead. The achievement should first be institutionalised considering the 10 years armed struggle in the country. If we satisfy with the achievement today (imatured pregnancy, even not a baby), the history may repeat like in 2017 and 2061. At the same time, if the parties are not able to address the 10 years armed struggle, our country may trun into endless violance. You see there is a volatile situation at the present. In this circumstances, whatever comments/efforts we put should motivate the peoples forces to sit in the same boat and unite the hands !!!!
Fifth, frenkly speaking, there is a very little interest for me in the questions like who lives where and what kind of things. You probably do not know, contributions can be done in favour of any country no matter who is living where. Today, in this electronic age, things can be done from one corner to the another corner of the globe. By the way, the responder does not live in Europe as a job holder. Nevertheless, everyone should respect all kind of jobs, they are equally important at their levels.

In summary:
Despite the endividuals right to write and express, the comments should be focused on how to bring the peoples forces in favour of the peoples democratic republic of Nepal. I am sorry to write, this does not apply to the persons who still have interest in the monarchy.
Nevertheless, situation does not remain constant. They may change and transform with time. They are also welcomed in the discussions if they can mantain certain level of maturity. People should always learn with time and discussions. They may transform themselves accordingly in the changed environment. Creative criticisms from all corners are most welcomed. It makes the parties to stay reasonably on the right track.

This is all for now. We will understand more in later discussions. Light hearted people, who understand the pain of the normal people always become friends, despite the minor differances.
My motive is that unnecessary discussions may indirectly support the royalists. However, a mistrust may also appear if one supports the positive sides and another keeps on pinning on the negative side of a coin. Hello Kasturi Gentleman!
1. The nation which you call your is mine as well and it is the homeland of other 27 million Nepali people excluding you and me. Don’t ever dare to snatch other’s freedom when you want to enjoy yours.
2. The people who criticize both the Royalists and maoists are not all Mandales as your myopic eyes. By criticizing Maoists i am just criticizing the Gun culture and their intolerant attitude towards other views. I am not saying their political agenda is based on foul ideology.
3. Maoists have suffered and have been victimized at the hands of government security forces because they declared the war on the state and when a war takes palce there are bound to be attrocities from both the sides. In a war there can be sacrifices and instances of Martyrdom like “anekot” or ‘Madi” .Attrocities committed from both the sides are cruel acts. Don’t be biased to criticize one and praise the other.
4. Yes, I neither in favour of any political party nor I am the member of any of them like you except voting for UML once in Life from Kathmandu 1 for Bidhya Bhandari. But I was never a party cadre. Please rise above your petty party blinkers and see the reality.
5. Such a die hard party man like you should be here in the country ,why to spend time bluffing comments and earning money doing low class jobs in Europe? You are required to mobilize the masses and prepare for CA election here in Nepal.
And finally, don’t accuse all of them who don’t agee with you as Mandales. Mandale is an attitude that does not respect different opinions held by other people. Give some moment and you will see who is a mandale.

There are reports that presence of people in the june 2 mass meeting organised by cpn (m) was much more than the conservative estimate of 200 000. See a news part from http://www.insn.org.

There are other reports that the rally was much bigger than the 200,000 figure? Surely, the ‘crowd’ is really swelling in support of the republic till this day?
Crowd? Soon you (you = YR Ghimire who has written an article) will call them a mob? And then democracy will obviously become a mobocracy, isn’t it? So why not go back to constitutional or ceremonial monarcy? Is that the message, Mr Ghimire?
And the Maoists are asking for a vote on the Constituent Assembly which the SPA and the jan andolan have agreed. So why dither? So what’s the big objection? Why? Let it be seen whether the ‘crowd’ can translate into intellgent, politically aware, legitimate democratic votes in the peaceful process of the days to come in the free, sovereign, secular republic of Nepal. If they win or lose the vote, that’s the democratic process, isn’t it, the people’s verdict, so why deny the Maoists’ that?

Have you included in your estimation of the mass in kulamach + shahi manch + Ratnapark + Trichandra college and around the tudikhel area. If you estimate in these areas then the mass could have been more than double than the conservative estimate. I am just woundering.

आमाको काखमा सुतिरहेका मन्जितलाई खुकुरीले प्रहार गरी हत्या गरेको कुरा गाउँलेले बताएका छन्। जनसरकार प्रमुख धर्मराज शनिबार काठमाडौंमा भइरहेको माओवादी जनसभामा गएको मौका छोपी प्रतिकारका भिजिलान्तेहरुले उनको घरमा आक्रमण गरेको परेवाका बुटवल सहकर्मी चन्द्रकान्त खनालले जनाएका छन्।
प्रतिकारका सदस्यद्वारा गरिएको आक्रमणमा धर्मराजका अर्का छोरा ५ वर्षो सोनु बराइ र छोरी भगवतीलाई पनि सख्त घाइते भएका छन्। सोनुको टाउकोमा गम्भीर चोट लोको छ भने भगवती खुकुरी प्रहार गरी घाइते भएकी छन्। दुवैको भैरहवास्थित मेडिकल कलेजमा उपचार भैहरको छ।

Maoist people know that how to respect their fellow comrades like “Krishna Sen”. If I’m not wrong “krishna Sen” was brutally killed by the government that was led by the one of the democratic party within the SPA. Debendra Poudyal should have dared to disclose the name of the responsible person in killing of the comrade “Krishna Sen” that would help people to know about the past behaviours of our leadres. This would help them to correct themselves in the future. Thanks

Thank you so much for the blog 2. I became so centiment that it was almost impossible to stop tears when I saw the name “Anekot”. You know probably, in 2000, there were 5 members of “sanskritik” kalakar killed by the royal army sounding them in a house.
I salute those martyrs who gave their blood for the nation and to the people to liberate them.
It was also a brutal and cold blooded killing by the royal butchers . The nation lost the best sons and daughters of Nepal mother.
Your great effort is appriciated. Some of the mandales (like K Poudel??) are blaming you being excluded them from the discussions. Probably they have charged you to have been inlined to the maoist. If you got this charge while putting the things as they are in the media, there is no harm to accept it by heart. This is the way how communist support develops when people are pinned. Then they start knowing the reality. I do not mean you are pinned.
You have put the things without anaysing them. This is the right way of putting the news. I have read some comments probably the anti social elements guided by the palace in Canada, USA, Belgium and elsewhere commenting on the politics without knowing the reality. If their comment is genuine or not guided by ill-natured, they can one day be transformed to love the peoples who suffer for the liberation.
Such elements are the ones to destroy the peoples strength and putting them into the mentle jail like in the period of the brutle monarchy in Nepal.

Looks like revolution is at its apex level . Whoever runs the country after Sambidhan Sabha , they should not run it the way Giraja Prasad and Madhav Nepal did run in the past . Giraja Prasad , Madhab Nepal and Sherbahadur Deuba are the real cause of the sufferring of the Nepalese people at large .Everybody knows this fact at their heart . I personally would like to congratulate and thank from the core of my heart to the person who takes the responsibility to run the country (yes infact after sambidhan sava chunab) with honesty ,integrity and transperency .Let Nepal be a prestigious country in the world map .
