जनआन्दोलनमा भएको दमन र पद र शक्तिको दुरुपयोगका सम्बन्धमा छानबिन गरी कारबाहीका लागि सिफारिस गर्न गठित रायमाझी आयोगमा बयान दिन पुगेका अर्का मण्डले मन्त्री दानबहादुर शाहीले सञ्चारकर्मीहरुसित गरेको कुराको अडियो ब्लग यहाँ राखेको छु। यसमा ‘तपाईँ मल्लिक आयोगले पनि कालो सूचिमा राखेको मान्छे, अहिले पनि राख्छ कि क्या हो ?’ भनेर प्रश्न सोध्दा ४६ सालमा ‘तपाईँ बालिग नै हुनुहुन्थेन, तपाईँलाई के थाहा छ यार ४६ सालको बारेमा’ भनेका छन्। ‘इतिहास पढेर थाहा भएको नि’ भन्दा ‘गलत इतिहास पढ्नु भो तपाईँले’ भनेर जवाफ फर्काउँछन्। ४६ सालको आन्दोलनका बेला कोशी अञ्चलका अञ्चलाधीशका रुपमा दमन गर्न प्रमुख भूमिका खेलेका शाहीलाई कुनै कारबाही नभएकै कारण हो त अहिले उनीहरुको यस्तो फूँइ बढेको ?
उनी आफैले भनेको सुनिएको छ यसमा- आफूले आफैलाई कसैले दोषी भन्छ यार ? उनले अझ भनेका छन्- राजमुकुटको पक्षमा म अझ पनि छु। एउटा पत्रकारले प्वाक्क दमनको जिम्मेवार समय परिस्थितिलाई सोध्नुस् भनेर ज्ञानेन्द्रलाई सोध्नुस् भनेको हो ? भनेर सोध्दा उनलाई झनक्क रिस उठेको सुनिन्छ। ‘यस्तो राम्रो हैन, फलाना ढिस्काना भन्ने, मर्यादाभित्र रहनुस्’- उनले भनेको सुनिन्छ।

First, thank you Shahi Amatya who has brought the news about the land enchrochment by the Indian security forces in Bardia, Nepal. The question from the commentetor is; who maoist or government should take care of this national issue? This Indian action shows the intention why India wants to put the security forces at the Nepal-India boarder. All the parliamentary parties should speak against it in the parliament if they love the country.
Friends, we know the Indian forces were allowed to position along the borader by the “Shahi government” to mand hunt nepalese in the name of maosit. It was a drama and Gyane and his government permitted to keep the Indian forces in the borader. This must be condemned from all patriatic people and all parties.
Umeshji, I suggest you to bring this news in the main heading so that all can read it and put their comments. This is no doubt, it is a national issue and all nepalese should condenm the Indian expansionist policy and protect our motherland.
But the point which should be understood is that:
The royal army claims working for “Desh and Naresh”? what the army is looking for several years when the India is taking our land,Mechi, Pashupati nagar, Kapilvastu, Bardia and so on. The reality is that specially in the monsoon, India uses its security forces to relocale the borader pillers towards the Nepali land. This is really a shame who sit in the government with the army and police more than 150,000. Those who have been in the government, the King and his army, the SPA and Panchas, all are responsible for this. What the army have been looking for? They have been unable to protect our land, it is sure.
This is not a new thing, that India has been taking our land and the expansion of India every year along the Terai boarding to Nepal. That is why India is called expansionist and USA is emperialist. These two are the main obstacle to our country.

Nation Heading Towards Violent Civil War, Warns Dr Rokaya

Lalitpur, July 12:
Member of the Ceasefire Monitoring Committee (CMC), Dr KV Rokaya, on Tuesday said the nation is heading towards a violent civil war with the increasing lack of confidence between the Maoists and the seven parties.
“Agreements are gradually being violated. The eight-point agreement signed by the top leaders could not be implemented. This has led the nation towards violent civil war,” said Dr Rokaya, while addressing an inter-religious interaction.
Sarbodaya Jyoti Abhiyan and Shanti Shanti Sangh jointly organised the interaction on “Minds For Peace”. He also said the CMC is seriously concerned over the latest political development in the country.
“If the talks failed, the Maoists would begin an urban-centered war which would largely affect the people living in the cities and would be more violent than ever,” he said, adding that all the concerned sections of the society should work hard to avert such disaster.
Dr Rokaya, who is also the vice-president of Inter Religious Council, quoted the holy Bible as saying that if the orphans and oppressed people do not receive justice, there would be terror. “Therefore, we cannot expect lasting peace without providing justice to the exploited and oppressed various ethnic groups and religions,” he added.
Addressing the same function Hamid Ansari of Muslim religion said the Muslim communities had demanded secularism and democratic practices in the nation some seven years ago. He also said the religious leaders have played crucial role to maintain religious harmony in the nation during the time of crisis.
Vikchhu Dharmamurti said humanity is the most important thing that can bring lasting peace in the nation. “Our leaders should be made committed for peace like how emperor Ashoka did,” he said.
Secretary of the Inter-Religious Council Keshav Chaulagain said the council has been meeting various influential personalities including political leaders and diplomats. He said the religious sector is the only appropriate body for the reconciliation.

Who is scared of secular Nepal? This is the land of the Nepalis whatever name u give it.And even when it was a hindu kingdom,the conversion was going on with the lure of money and lies and deceits.It wont make much of a difference.Just that more and more Hindus are waking up and realising there really is a threat to our religion and culture.I am one of them.

Religion is a choice. Everyone is free to choose what they want to believe. It is not fair with other Nepalies may it be Buddhists, Jaine, Muslims, Kirats, Christians or people of other religious background when Hindus say that Nepal is a Hindu country and do not welcome the new change in Nepal.
In religion’s name Hindu should not play monopoly while persecuting people of other faiths.
Every person has right to enjoy their religious freedom!
Why would then Hindus have ‘tauko dukhae’ when the nation is declared seculiar?

Thank you Umesh Jee,I should have sent the link but atleast you took the pain to find it.I am an undergraduate student in an american university.With time in my hands during the summer break i am surfing the net and finding out more about Nepal than i had known while i was in Nepal.Being outside the country I have become more Patriotic and am concered about Nepal more and more.I have also realised the richness of our culture and heritage and the need to preserve it.
When i read this article i was shocked,though few things in the article are debatable, like the action taken against Bhatta of Pashupati(which should have been done long ago) but all in all it gave me an unpleasant feeling as to HAVE WE BEEN DUPED!! As i continued to think,i started to think about why was the maoist so dogmatic about making nepal a secular country.And as a matter of fact it is also true that christians can go to any length to get people in their religions.Their support of the Gurillas in Myanmar,somalia are some of the examples.I felt,have we been the victim of it too? I hope this is not the case.
When i read the story,i was not shocked because Prachanda could be a christian or from anyother religion.Its his life,its his wish.But if he is a Christian,the crimes he commited against our culture and religion should be seen with a different perspective.
what is his mission? why our culture and religion was his prime target.
why did his dalit mukti morcha kill Pandit Narayan Pokhrel(I am amazed that most people havent read this article in samaya saptahik(months ago,should be somewhere around february) where the head of the maoist dalit mukti morcha organised a press conference and said that they killed pandit pokhrel and they found out that it was a wrong move,its amazing that Kantipur did not even publish the story,i can be sure that they must have been invited in the press conference)
I have no problem with a secular Nepal,but the question is, was it our first priority? and how many Nepalis seriously wanted it.This could have been done with the election of the constituent assembly.Nepalis are tolerant people and there never has been a religious divide in our great nation.

Umesh jee i read in dailypioneer.com that Prachanda is a christian that’s why he wanted a secular government,which will make conversion legal!!
There was a similar havoc against V.Prabhakaran,chief of LTTI and it came out to be true!!
Can you confirm/deny it,or do it from any other source.It may be just one more bluff of the indian media.But if its true it will prove why he was so much after the secular state,why he destroyed our vedic schools and made our people stop a lot of religious jatras and all that.

KATHMANDU, July 11 – Battisputali area in the capital on Tuesday remained tense for a few hours after a local house owner beat up the Maoist affiliated labourers.
Maoist sources claimed that Mahendra Goel, a local resident, had beat up two of their party cadres who were about to paint slogans for the upcoming national conference of the All Nepal Trade Union Federation (Revolutionary) on Goel’s compound wall yesterday.
Some 3000 Maoist cadres who came in a vehicle picketed Goel’s house and chanted slogans against him this morning.
The Maoist trade union cadres later imposed a “fine” of Rs 8,900 and made Goel apologize in public.
Goel, however, declined to comment on the issue.

In democracy we need discipline and normally if we can use law either for the punishment of mandele or others for their wrong that would make smooth path on way of achieving perfect democracy. If we do not follow what laws are for and control the law instead of law controlling us then we should be heading towards disaster days. Therefore, it would be more than wiser being disciplined person and obeying the law rather than being rude attacking in nature taking laws on hand.
Why can’t we wait until the out come of the commission? The reason behind this is we have not been trained for that because when we start school we give huge homework without caring whether that homework would be bearable or not. In our schools I have rarely seen teaching disciplines and general matters that should be known from the early ages like the way of disciplined manner of speaking, behave, etc there are lots of things should be taught in the school before we have given huge homework. Therefore, I would like to suggest for huge reform in the schools. What a pity in government schools we have teachers like who could not pass the SLC exams how can you even think of getting such incapable people as teachers. This is totally ridiculous. We give fear to children since they land in this universe. How can we expect good out come from them if you did not behave in the right way. So, other matter that has to dealt with is the role of parents. For an example, even a small child of age say 10 months did so work which he or she should not have done we get angry even start bitting him or her. Think a bit what he or she would have learnt when we beat them. We need social reforms and lots which is not going to happen in days or years.
we don’t have disciplined journalists in our system? Needs to be given good training for them how to act when they doing something. Our journalists they might have rarely have had training given. U have degree in journalist does not mean tha u are capable in it. Before going into practice one needs to go for other bits of works which might help to go through the business soothly have not seen this so far in our developing country.

के नेपालमा समूहगत अपराधको संस्थागत राजनीतिकरण भइरहेको कुरालाई हामीले मण्डले सरकारका आउरेबाउरे मन्त्रिलाई तेजाबी शैलिका प्रश्न सोधेर मात्र ओझेलमा पार्ने कोशिस गरिरहेका त छैनौँ ?
पत्रकारका समदर्शी आँखाले त हरेक विसंगतिलाई जनसम्मुख ल्याउने आँट गर्नु पर्ने हो । नेपालको पत्रकारिताको विकासमा बहुदल पुर्स्थापना को उत्तरार्ध स्वर्णिम रहेको कुरा निर्विवाद रहे पनि , भोलिका दिनहरुमा यसको प्रत्याभूति रहन सक्ला ? नारा र कोरा सैद्दान्तिकताको दावा भन्दा पर पुगेर यथार्थ विरेचनको जरुरी पर्ला जस्तो पनि लाग्छ । तर बदलाका भावनामा बगेका आक्रोस भन्दा पर, आजसम्म विविध पक्षबाट भएगरेका सम्पूर्ण नकारात्मकताको छिनोफानो गर्ने दक्षिणी अफ्रिकी मोडेलको सर्वाधिकार सम्पन्न Truth commission को गठन गरी सबै तर्फका अन्याय र अतिवादी व्यवहारमाथि छानवीन गर्ने वातावरण तयार नभएसम्म कानूनी उपचारको कथा नेपालमा “सातुको घैँटो” को कथा मात्र बनेर रहने निश्चित छ ।

Yeah, this blog is very interesting and informative, and I am a regular visitor of this site. I listened to the questions and answers of some persons going to Rayamajhi commission or returning from there. But, the way the journalists ask questions and the questions themselves looked very funny. Journalists immediately attack a person like a culprit, and ask just this and that question, which makes even the listerns not to feel comfortable. The conversations look like quarrels between two extreme opponents. I think if we bite a dog’s leg which bit our leg, then we are no other than the dog.

यो सबै नालायक सरकारको कारणले गर्दा भएको हो भन्छु म जनता न्यायको लागी मर्न तयार छन् तर यी भाते नेताहरु उनीहरुलाइनै प्रयोग गरेर माथी पुग्न आतुर छन् । छानवीन आयेगले कारवाहीको सुचिमा राखेको सेनापतिलाइ कारबाही गर्न सक्दैन। दरबार नामको बधसालाको हुलाक कुन्नी के सचिवालय खारेज गर्दैन अब भो त त्यही भैसी महतको छोरो दारी महत जो जनताको रगतको टिका लगाएर मन्त्री भयो उ धरी राजदरबारको खर्च घटाउन मान्दैन अनि यी मण्डलेहरुको फुर्ती किन नबडोस् त । यो सबै कारण नेपालका सात पार्टीका नेताहरु र यीनका फोहरी चरित्र हुन सबलाइ चेतना भया !
