I agree with you Umesh ji, that fateful day shows that we(humanity)are all interconnected and we cannot think ourselves as separate entity. Fire started by one can reach another in no time.
My heartfelt condolences to the families of the men who died in Iraq on this second year anniversary. Those men were sent there by deceit and still many are being sent now. There has to be a campaign to educate Nepalese about the possible consequences of going to the foreign land for employment. Just as Jeevan jal campaign and HIV/AIDS campaign are broadcasted on radios, we need to do the same for foreign laborers. I’ve heard that as many as 5000 Nepalese per week are leaving Nepal for employment????? We have to find a way to arm them against these cruel manpowers.

all this is happening because nepali people have too much free time and there is no strong law against hooliganism like that. they must sentence them to prison for at least 30 year then people will start respecting private and public property

Yes Umesh ji, it was the big problem at that time. I really don’t want to remember that moment, cause I was heading towards my office and reached at the middle of big demonstration. I was trapped and it was prety difficult to find the way out.

Biti sakeko kura lai samjhanu bhanda aahile aai-rakheko problem ko samadhan bare chalphal gare kaso hola. Aahile ko thulo samasya ta “CHANDA ATANKA” ho ni. Khai ta tapai le yes-bare ma kehi aahile samma lekhnu bhaye na ni. AAhile office office ma chemata bhanda badhi magi rakhe chhan, ghar ghar ma aayera chanda lidai chhan. Hami le kati matra chanda dine. Aahile bebasye ko ta yehi ho, kamau na kati garo chha, uni haru tarsayera chemata bhanda badhi magchhan. Ke garne? Please suggest, it is the biggest problem at present.

Bhadra 16 reminds me the moment when I had no expectation of being alive myself. I was present there at the protest from very beginning that day (16 of Bhadra). That incident makes me feel very sad, and I think so does to others. I just want to say that we shouldn’t follow the crowd. We must be able to decide what is right and what is wrong before we react to any incident or accident. Otherwise we would have to face such a black day again and again.
