बैंक, निक्षेपकर्ता र सर्वसाधारणको हित सुनिश्चित गर्न नेपाल बंगलादेश बैंकको व्यवस्थापन आइतबारको कारोबारपछि नेपाल राष्ट्र बैँक आफैले सम्हालेको छ। बंगलादेश बैंकका सबै निक्षेपकर्ताको सम्पूर्ण रकम अहिले सुरक्षित भएको र डराएर निकाल्नु नपर्ने अनि आवश्यकता अनुसार राख्न र झिक्न सकिने कुरा पनि राष्ट्र बैंकले जनाएको छ।
सुशासनको कमी, ठूला व्यवसायीले ऋण लिएर नतिर्ने प्रवृत्ति र पूँजीको घट्दो क्रम सबैभन्दा ठूलो समस्या भएको राष्ट्र बैंकले देखाएको छ रे । एनबी समूहले बैंकबाट करिब १ अर्ब ५० करोड कर्जा लिएको छ । यसको साँवा र ब्याज तिर्न ताकेता गरे पनि फिर्ता नभएपछि केन्द्रीय बैंक हस्तक्षेप गर्ने निष्कर्षमा पुगेको थियो रे ।
हस्तक्षेपको कुरा आउनेबित्तिकै बैंकले मुद्दा हाल्यो र न्याय प्रशासनलाई ‘प्रभावित’ पारेर हस्तक्षेप नगर्न आदेश समेत लिन सफल भयो। धन्न, सञ्चारमाध्यमहरुमा यो कुरा आएका कारण बैंकबाट निक्षेपकर्ताहरुले धमाधम पैसा निकाल्न थाले र बाध्य भएर बैंक व्यवस्थापन आफैले राजीनामा दिएर राष्ट्र बैंकलाई व्यवस्थापन सम्हाल्न अनुरोध गर्नुपर्यो।
यहाँनिर के प्रश्न उठ्छ भने एनबी समूह भनेको त्यही बैंक चलाउने संस्था हो । चलाउने संस्थाले नै यसरी ठूलो रकम कुम्ल्याएर बैंक डुबाउन खोज्छन् भने त्यसलाई के भन्ने हो ? सहकारी चलाएर मालिक पैसा लिएर फरार भए जस्तै यो पनि त्यही श्रेणीमा पर्छ कि पर्दैन ? नेपालमा दण्डहीनताको कारण ठूला पुँजीपतिहरुले जे गरे पनि हुने अनि यसरी देश डुबाउँदा पनि बोल्नसक्ने हैसियत यहाँ कोही कसैले राख्दैनन् । न त पत्रकारहरु आवाज निकाल्छन् न त जनताले नै केही गर्न सक्छन् । यस्तै प्रक्रियाले गर्दा नेपाल बैक डुबेको कारण अहिले विदेशीको कव्जामा छ । वाणिज्य बैंक पनि त्यही हालतबाट गुज्रिरहेको छ । बैकबाट ऋण लिएर भाकामा साँवा-ब्याज नतिर्ने ठूला पूँजीपतिहरुले देशको अर्थतन्त्रलाई धमिराले खाए सरह पारिसकेका छन् । त्यसैले देशमा गणतन्त्र आवस्-नआवस भनेर ‘बकम्फुसे’ बहस गर्नुभन्दा देशलाइ धरासायी पार्ने यी धमिराहरुलाई निर्मूल पार्ने सम्बन्धमा पनि जानिफकारहरु बीच बहस चलाउने हो कि !

People let us not forget that these same group is running Nepal Credit and Commerce Bank.
NRB is also at fault here. What were they doing all these years? Ghush khayara basiraheko thiyo hoinara.
And lets not forget that the present governor was the board of director at the bank. this problem did not stem from recent actvities but is the culmination of years and years of loot including the period in which the present governor was the board member. We need the answer from the governor too.
Now we have a hilarious position in the bank, the same thugs who were unable to supervise this institutions are coming forward to managage. What do these people know about managing a commercial bank? What are their background?

As Girija went to rescue the King so will he rescue NB Group because it was in his time that Jeet Bahadur Shrestha managed to obtain the ownership of Harishidhi Brick Factory after getting loan from the Rashtriya Banijya Bank. Any investigation of NB Group will reveal the misdeeds of Girija, Mahesh Acharya and the gang. NRB trying to save the bank is clear indication to hide from public the politicians involved in the scam. Without the active roll of the Maoists the culprits will never be prosecuted. Will the Maoists do it that is a matter we have wait and see.

it is not a sudden and surprising news.
1. Since from the very beginning of its establishment, the objectives of the bank was to finance the promoters at the cost of public.
2. The prmoteres not only blacklisted and discredited people today, but from a long time since kazi enterprises.
The Managing director is simply the pawn and middleman since long time.
3. There are so many instance of those promoters – how many employees have been victimized by those promoters- there is a long list. Even some have died too simply because of their pressure. We should know what happened to MD (singer and former NRB employee) of one of the bank when he refused to approve and recommend loan as per their instrustion, He was not sacked but left the org with long illness.
4. Some staffs of different institutions were victimised and made possible to send them to jail and some of the staffs were forced to leave the job volunatarily..
5. Should anyone need detail information of their deeds, it can supplied.
It was forecasted 8 yrs back that happened today.
Their Harisiddi, and exploitation to Chinese suppliers, Sri Lankan back to home withdrawing their shares from merchant bank and current MD’s role in privatisation and nexus with Mahesh Acharya., are allfor the current problems.

Along with king the political parties who ruled Nepal after 2007 BS are equally responcible for helping Companies like NB Group to rob the people and the country. It is a shame that those who helped to rob and loot our country are acting innocent in the present Government. They have excluded 11 MPs for supporting the king. I think those who supported the people like Jeet Bahadur Shrestha the scoundrel and head of the NB should also be excluded from the interim parliament.

I support Ashwini. Yes, it is a matter of high importance but I see none of the political parties and even civil society is showing concern and raising this issue. No matter whatever the system may be and whichever party goes in the government, unless such ‘blood suckers’ are penalized, nothing great is going to happen in Nepal and there is no point talking about building a ‘New Nepal’. It will just remain in slogans and speeches, nothing will transform in reality. I wonder how can someone who has 45 crores of Rupees loan in a bank (he may have similar loan in other banks also) and never wishes to pay the loan back (willingly), can become the President of Federation of Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI)? It is because defaulters have close relation with the political parties and so the government never puts pressure on such defaulters to pay the loan back. It is really pity. Likewise, the promoters of the bank themselves are indulged in digging the grave of the bank, which once had established a good rapport in the market. Let us hope under the changed political situation, such mess will be cleared and such defaulters will be penalized and put behind the bars. No one should be allowed to commit day light robbery. Let us all raise this issue and put pressure on such willing defaulters. No one can enjoy a luxurious life having crores of rupees loan in the bank. If such mess could be cleared, then only we can expect such a new Nepal in the future.

नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंक संग मात्र जादुको छडी छ र ! ब्यवस्थापन हातमा लिदैमा सब थोक ठिक हुने ? त्यही राष्ट्र बैंकले लुम्बिनी बैंकलाई उठायो भन्ने भ्रम चाँही नपालौं किनकी त्यही ब्यवस्थापन पक्षलाई २५ लाख मासिक तलब दिन परेको लुम्बिनी को तितो सत्यलाई बिर्सनु हुन्न । नयाँ ब्यवस्थापन पक्षले अब कति तलब खोज्छ त्यो पनि पारदर्शि हुन सक्यो भने मात्र रा्ष्ट्र बैंकका कर्मचारीको निजी स्वार्थ थिएन यो सब प्रकरणमा भनेर मान्न सकिन्छ

we have to follow General Parveg Mussaraf the president of Pakistan as how he had recovered the loan amount from the debtors who were captured the money while there own people were on government.
Hard and fast rule should be apply and I think goverment has to issue a law against them which should have no space to appel on the court.
But who will think about this important topic?

It is very important to bring the culprits who have looted the people’s hard earned money to justice. Bangladesh Bank was in trouble from the very beginning. It was run by the corrupt Jeet Bahadur Shresta, Laxman Bahadur Shrestha and their brothers. They are very famous swindler brothers from Barabishe who have cheated many Nepalese and have good connections with Congress, Palace and the UML. They are among those who brought Rashtriya Banijya Bank into the brink of Bankruptcy. They owe millions to the bank. When Harishiddhi Brick Factory was privatized these crook brothers managed to get the top hand with the help of the corrupted government officials. They managed to survive so long offending the law and swindling people and the banks. Now it is time to stop them and get that swindled money back. Umeshji keep on pressuring the Government to compel them to take action. Without the pressure from the media it will not be possible because some of the main players in helping the crook brothers are in SPA now.
