Girija was pri-minister and Gynendra and Paras created all the drama when Royal massacre took place. It was not Dipendra. I was closely following the news what was happening in Nepal since I left the country 20 years ago for schooling and employment. King Birendra refused to mobilize army against maoist rebelion. It was a political reason for the Royal massacre not the innocent Dipendra. It’s a lie that Dipendra opened fire.
I wish multiparty democracy, transparency (within the political parties and government) and long lasting peace in Nepal.

I am glad finally to spot some people like you who stand by rational thoughts. I appreciate it all.It is pity that we have this traditional culture that we like to hear only those things which we believe.
Like i said earlier, there are lots of other survivors and the people who were invovled directly and indirectly in the whole episode.If we don’t believe with Ranabhat’s version we can approach other reliable sources as well.for eg. we can intervene Divyani, Gorakh and the ADCs. What is stopping them to reveal the truth at this very moment of monarchy downfall? I think now , it becomes the moral responsibility of the reporters and journalists of New Nepal to explore with the full swing and enlighten all the conspiracy theorists.
Remember, the country can be brought into big turmoil with the little crap statments (?) of Hritik Roshan and this is the land where Mahadev and Ganesh cries.

find the true story behind the massacre. Seems like Gyane has invested on it.
Bottome line, if he releases the docu giving a clean chit to Bloody Gyane and his son, it will not enter nepal. Similarly the Nepalese community around the world will contribute to boycott it. Remember, how Nepalese in Austria successfully conveyed (and convinced) to the head of state not to visit criminal Paras though the original was to do so.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the docudrama/film, Zero Hour – a Royal Massacre, is being produced upon Gyanendra’s “sponsorship”. And, I won’t be surprised if another Hrithik Roshan episode is repeated in the streets of Kathmandu when this film is broadcasted. The producers of this film must be alerted to the fact what people in Nepal believe about the royal palace massacre. They should also understand that the monarchy of Nepal is counting its hours.
In Nepal, each and everybody believes that Gyanendra and Paras were the men behind the royal palace massacre, absolutely not Dipendra. Even abroad, except those “brainwashed” by Gyanedra’s official report, or those one who have something to do with Gyanendra, I don’t think that there is anyone out there who believes that the culprit behind the royal family massacre is Dipendra.

Sorry to say this… if some one from western world or outside of Nepal is determined to make a movie regarding Nepali Dynasty or even religion there is nothing we can say or do about it. I am pretty sure that all of you are well aware of “Little Buddha” by Bernardo Bertolucci. If I recall correctly current PM was in the ruling government where he threw some blind folds to entire public that Bertolucci has agreed upon to chang the title of the movie from “Little Buddha” to “Little Lama”.
The context between the current issue and the old issue may differ little but the fact is that this has nothing, no power to make those kind of changes which would or could reflect truth of Massacre.

Why do we Nepalese believe in conspiracy theory so much? I don’t like Gyanendra and monarchy as a whole, but let’s not blame him for everything. There were other people who survived the fateful night and if something fishy had happened it would have been come out already. Let’s also stop potraying Birendra and Dipendra as saints. Birendra was responsible for the crimes committed during 2046 andolan and we know Dipendra was into drugs. Royal massacre was a blot in Nepalese history and the only way to wash it away is by removing monarchy.

I think the story given by the official Probe Committee is not a reality in the Royal Massacre Scandal.But it has become the “all time version”. After the vote by the Constituent Assembly on Monarchy will come out and monarchy will be voted out, then the truth may be revealed.
At the time of Royal Massacre on the 1st June, 2001, where was the present King Gyanandra and what he was doing is not clear yet.It was reported that many people saw him talking in the Mobile phone around 9 PM near the TIA in Kathmandu.It was never reported (before that ill-fated day for King Birendra and family) that Prince Gyanandra had left for inspecting some projects in Chitwan.In the next morning he was in Pokhara. This news came out only after the news of massacre.I hope future investigation can give light to the truth. Satya Meba Jayete !!!!PAAPI must be punished.
