साधारणतया राजनीतिक दलसँग शुभेच्छुक, समर्थक, कार्यकर्ता र नेताहरु हुन्छन्। तर नेपालका कम्युनिष्टहरुको मसिहा ठान्ने कमरेड सी.पी. मैनाली यी सबै मान्यताको विपरित ठिङ्ग सतिसाल झैँ उभिएका देख्दा कार्ल मार्क्सको भूतसमेत छक्क परेको होला। आफूलाई नेकपा मालेको महासचिव भन्ने मैनालीको कोठे कम्युनिष्ट दुई फ्याक भएको छ हाँडी जस्तै।
२००९ सालमा हालको तेह्रथुमको आठराईमा जन्मिएका यी कमरेड सी.पी. पढाइको कुरामा अब्बल नै थिए रे। उनले माअोवादीका नेता बाबुरामले जस्तो एसएलसी बोर्ड टप नगरे पनि टप टेनभित्रै परेका थिए। उनले त्यसो त आईएस्सीमा पनि बोर्ड मै ल्याएका थिए। तर उनको आँखामा समस्या भएका कारण (लुकिङ लण्डन टकिङ टोकियो) कोलम्बो प्लान अन्तर्गत डाक्टर पढ्न विदेश जान पाएनन्।
२०४६ सालअघि उनका बारेमा चर्चा कम थिएन। नख्खु जेलमा सुरुङ खनेर भागेका कमरेड सी.पी. किंवदन्तीहरु पौराणिक कथाका अलौकिक राजकुमारका जस्तै थिए। छिमेकमा रहेको नक्सलवाडीका भारतीय माअोवादी नेता चारु मजुमदारको व्यक्ति हत्याबाट प्रभावित भएर २०२८–०२९ सालमा झापामा जमिन्दार काट्ने आन्दोलन शुरु गरेका थिए। आन्दोलनमाथि नराम्रोसँग दमन भएको थियो। कमरेड सीपी पनि जेल परे तर उनीसहित १४ जना जेल ब्रेक गरेर भागे। कोशी कोअर्डिनेशनले सिद्धान्त मिल्ने साना-साना टुक्रामा विभाजित भएको कम्युनिष्ट पार्टीलाई २०३४ सालमा सबैलाई मिलाएर नेकपा माले बनाए। यो नै कामरेड सीपीको नेपाली कम्युनिष्ट आन्दोलनलाई दिएको ठूलो उपलब्धि हो।
त्यसपछि २०३९ सालमा त्यो पार्टीमा ठूलो सैद्धान्तिक विवाद भयो। पार्टी स्वतन्त्रता कि राजनीतिक स्वतन्त्रता विषयमा विवादले उग्र रुप लियो। सीपी कमरेडलाई साथीहरुले बन्दुक नाल तेर्स्याएर जबर्जस्ती राजीनामा दिन लगाए। त्यसपछि उनका पछि लाग्नेले पार्टी छोडे र कति त्यही काण्डको बली चढे। त्यसबेलाको उदयमान नेता टंक कार्की पार्टीले कारबाही गर्यो भने पार्टीलाई तल्लो तहमा पुर्याउन गीतसंगीत पस्कँदै हिँड्ने रामेश, रायन, लोचन भट्टराई, शंभु राईले पार्टी छोडे। पछि पार्टीले सीपी कै लाइन पास गर्यो तर सीपी कमरेड पार्टीभित्र सँधै अल्पमतको मोर्चा सम्हाल्दै आए। बेलाबेलामा बखेडाहरु खडा गर्दै रहे पनि उनले आफै अघि बढेर पार्टी फुटाउने कार्य भने गरेनन्। २०५४ सालमा वामदेवलाई सिखण्डी बनाएर प्रयोग गरे र आफ्नो टाउकोमा अपजस नलिइकनै पार्टी फुटाए। २०५९ सालमा वामदेव गल्ती स्वीकार गर्दै ठूलो हिस्सा लिँदै एमाले मै फर्किए तर सीपी भने मालेको झण्डा बोक्दै रहे। तर अहिले सहयोगीहरु नै उनलाई ‘दाइ राधाकृष्णपथमा लागेर “त्वम् शरणम् गच्छामी” भन्दै दरवारपरस्त हुन पुगे भन्दै पार्टी विभाजित गरेपछि अब सीपी मैनाली साँच्चै नै नेकपा मालेको एक पार्टी, एक नेता र एक मात्रै कार्यकर्ता हुन पुगेका छन्।
कोही कमरेड सीपी मैनालीको शुभचिन्तक हुनुहुन्छ भने ढुक्क हुनुहोस्, अब नेकपा माले भन्ने पार्टी कहिल्यै फुट्दैन। त्यसका लागि कमरेड सीपी मैनालीलाई बधाई।
म बबुरोको मनमा एउटा कुरा खेलेको छ कमरेड सीपी राजनीतिक विश्लेषण गर्न माहिर हुनुहुन्छ। त्यसैले उहाँले यो पार्टीसार्टीको झन्झट छोडेर एउटा राजनीतिक कन्सलटेन्सी खोलेर बसे यी ठूला पार्टीका कम बुद्धि भएका नेताहरुले राम्रो विशेषज्ञता हासिल गर्न सक्छ।

I think you better talk about how he built that big house in chabel whereas he had inherited only some money by selling property inherited by his “PITA PURKHA”

i found CP mainali very intelligent and philosopher but who failed always.
We should not neglect his contribution in nepalese contribution. We should not compare him with his opportunish brother RK mainali.

No doubt he is a great thinker rather than a leader.He failed in politics because he was not able to play dirty policits at right moment as today’s so called national leaders have done at least once in their life .If he would have broken party when party choosed great comrade madan bhandari line, he would have been in different foot now & nepal’s communist movement would have been in different shape now.It is unfortunate that in our country people with right visions are not recognised by people with in time, that is the main reason we are still back ward.It will miracle if CP Mainali bounce back as power player in Nepal’s politics.I wish him all the best.

I respect him highly as compared to other leaders in the communist forum. He has really great vision. Like “Afno Gau Afai banau”. He implemented that idea and after that Most of leaders of UML affaraid with him and kick out him from UML. What I heard about the SURUNG episode.King Birendra had the information that some prisoners are going to escape from the Nakhu Jail.But he instructed all the security people pretend not to know about it.Because he wanted to push an opposition party of Nepali Congress. In 2017, when Mahendra took power with the help of the military, Communists welcomed it by organizing Deepavali in Kathmandu and other parts of Nepal.Now,Bamdev has become more Maoists than Maoists themselves.What an irony ? Don’t believe these communists, they can have a 360 degree turn. Look at Oli now.

CP should join a UML of MAOIST or any big party and make some contribution to the country. Or, he can join the Civil society movement but he shouldn’t remain idle and alone. But, he have to forget the past and ego. He should not be ashamed of anything as he has not done much wrong to the society than many other leaders.
We are talking about inclusive Nepal so why not anypalce for him.
But, it is up to CPM ( chandra Prakash Mainaili) to decide.( by the way there is nother CP ie CPG( chandra Prakash Gajurel) from Maoist in Nepali politics.).
