जनतान्त्रिक तराई मुक्ति मोर्चाको ज्वाला सिंह समूहले तराईमा सुरक्षाकर्मीहरुलाई रासन-पानी र दैनिक प्रयोगका कुनै पनि सामान नदिन चेतावनी दिएको छ। तराईमा भएको तनावका कारण राजधानीमा दैनिक उपभोगका सामानहरु नभित्रिएर समस्या देख्न थालिसकेको बेलामा मोर्चाले भने अनिश्चितकालीन यातायात बन्द कार्यक्रम जारी राख्ने घोषणा गरेको छ। मोर्चाले सात दल र माअोवादीले लिखित रुपमा नै संघीय शासन प्रणाली अन्तर्गत आत्मनिर्णय र स्वशासनको अधिकार अनि हालका निर्वाचन क्षेत्र विघटन गरी जनसंख्याको आधारमा नयाँ निर्वाचन क्षेत्र तोकी समानुपातिक प्रतिनिधित्वको प्रतिवद्धता व्यक्त गर्नुपर्ने पनि माग गरेको छ।
जनतान्त्रिकले पनि अब त इमेलबाट वक्तव्य पठाउन थालेछ। आज पहिलो पटक मेरो इमेलमा पनि उसको वक्तव्य आइपुग्यो। वक्तव्य जस्ताको तस्तै-

भ्ाारतको राजधानी दिल्लीको जवाहरलाल नेहरु विश्व विद्दालयमा मैले त्यहाँका प्राध्यापक एवं विधार्थीका बीचमा २ फरवरी २००७ मा प्रस्तु््त गरेका विचारबारे नेपाली प्रेसमा प्रकाशित केही कुराहरुले भ्रम सृष्टि गरेकाले त्यसबारे स्पष्ट गर्नका लागि यो वक्तव्य जारी गरिएको छ ।
म्ौले जनमुूक्ति सेनाबारे भनेको थिए- ूहाम्रा विरोधीहरुले हामीसँंग जम्मा तीन÷चार हजार सेना छन् भनेर प्रचार गरेका थिए तर उनीहरुले नै हाम्रो सेनामा ३७ हजार क्यान्टोनमनेट भित्र राखेको अहिले स्वीकार गरेका छन ।ू
सविधानसभाको चुनावबारे मैले भनेको थिएँ-ूसविधानसभाको निर्वाचनद्वारा शान्तिपूर्ण किसिमले मतदानको प्रकृयामार्फत् राजतन्त्रलाई समाप्त पारी गणतन्त्रको स्थापना गर्ने अवसर ठूलो सघर्षबाट नेपाली जनताले प्राप्त गरेका हुन् । यदि यो प्रकृयालाई कसैले व्यवधान खडा गर्ने र तुहाउने काम गर्छ भने त्यो नेपाली जनताले सहन गर्ने छैनन् र विद्रोहमा उत्रने छन् । त्यो अवस्थामा हामो पार्टीले त्यसको नेतृत्व गर्नेछ । हामी चाहन्छौ कि त्यो स्थिति कसैले पैदा गर्ने दुस्साहस नगरोस ।ू ुएक घण्टामै जनमुक्ति सेना क्याण्टोन्मेण्टबाट बाहिर निकालिने’ ुएक घण्टाभित्र विद्रोह गरेर राजधानी कव्जा गरिनेु हामीले वार्ताकै दौरानमा १० हजारबाट ३७ हजार सेना बनायौं’ आदि भन्ने कुरा गलत हो ।

After doing a lot research, it seemed to me that: The aim of Madhesi janadhikar forum and Mr. Jwala singh is to separate tarai part of Nepal. Yes, ofcourse, there are certain demands raised by them are genuine. However, Mr. Jwala singh and upendra Yadav: Warning:
If your purpose is separatist, then no country will accept you, no country will recognise or acknowledge you. This is because, this is the disease of many different countries of our world, even this is the disease of Canada and it could not be succeeded. If you guys have taken money from some separatist group of the world, ultimately many madhesi people will loose life for nothing and one day you guys might be hanged by Madhesis, themselves.
You better be gentle and train people of south Nepal to live in harmony with other ethnic groups, try to remain in equality in right and as a souvereign people of Nepal. You should learn lession from the history of Punjab, Kasmir, Gorkhaland, Assam, Quebec, etc. All have fought, but eventually remain as part of the mother land, not a separate country.Warning! warning!! Warning!!! No country is ready to just leave land,and no country of the world will recognize you guys- Warning!

Well said rabindrajee……I have for the first time sriously felt that….Madhesis have to keep the option of a separate state/country with full autonomy open…..This khas domination is not going to work any more…..I am tired of speking a moderate language to my freinds….The truth is that we have to fight for our right….nobody is going to “give” it to us……neither we do want it that way now…….we will get our rights thorugh Janandolan…..thats the best way.

These so-called Maoists have given up their principles and their leader is behaving more like Khrushchev than chairman Mao. Prachanda’s recent remarks show his repressive desires and unpredictable persona which was hallmark of Khrushchev. Khrushchev’s actions may have eventually contributed to breakdown of Soviet Union.
Any further use of force on top of current police repression will absolutely ligitimize a cause for separation of madhesh from rest of country. It is paharis who treated madheshis like second-class citizen and planted this divide. Paharis should realize that table has turned and they have to make case for madheshis to benefit from new political order. Foundation of new constitution of Nepal will not be build by burying rights of madheshis.

आज भोलि ठुला पत्रिकाहरु पढने हो भने एउटा खास समुदाय(पहाडी उच्च जाति, जो खस भन्यो भने रिसाउन्छ) सङ आवद्द लेखक,पत्रकार र पाठक कमेन्ट हरु दुई वा तीन कुरा को रट लगाइ राखेको पाइन्छ।
पहिलो कुरो,
तराईको जनसंख्या=४८%,निर्वाचनछेत्र=४३%
पहाडको जनसंख्या=४४%,निर्वाचनछेत्र=४७%
त्यसकारण जम्मा ५% सिटको फरक। तर यो त भौगोलिक रुप मात्रै हो नि। तर मेरो कुरा, यो तथ्याक त तथ्यको सानो भाग मात्रै हो। वास्तविकता त कुन जातिले संसदमा कति सिट ओगटेको छ त त्यस पछि प्रष्ट हुन्छ।
खस(बाहुन) जनसंख्या=१०%,संसदमा=६०%
मधेसी जनसंख्या=४८%,संसदमा=२०%
अब भन्नुस ठुलो पिकच्चर(फोटो) के हो। के त सबै नेपालीले समानुपतित प्रतिनिधीत्तो गरि राखेको छ। यो गहिरो खाडल लाई के भन्ने।
अब यहि स्वरुप मै संविधान सभा को चुनाव मा गए, त्यै खास समुदाय को बोलबाल हुने निश्चित छ र त्यै समुदाय को श्वर चर्को हुने छ। अब भन्नु पर्दैन होला आउदो संविधान त्यै जातिको हिटमा लेखिने छ, जस्तो कि २०४६ को संविधान लेखियो। मेरो भनाई के भने नि, २०४६ को संविधानले त्यो पहाडी उच्च जाति लाई नेपालीको food chain माथिल्लो स्थानमा स्थापित गर्यो जो पहिले शाह राणा हरुले ओगतेको थियो। यदि त्यै क्रमलाई निरन्तरता दिनेहो भने उनिहरुले आफ्नो पकड अझ मजबुत गर्ने थियो।
सरकारी कर्मचारी, सचिव, प्रहरी को तथ्याकं त अझ अरु खराब, ८०% सरकारी कर्मचारी त्यै जातिले ओगटेको छ। यो त भनि रहनु पर्दैन कि सरकारी कर्मचारी, प्रहरी, जनप्रतिनिधि हरु आम नेपाली को जन जीविका को सवालमा प्रत्तक्ष प्रभाव पार्ने बिषय हुन।
मधेसी समुदायले यो खतरा चाल पाए कि यदि यै स्वरुपमा संविधान सभाको चुनावमा गयो भने उनिहरु को केहि सुनवाई हुने वाला छैन। त्यै भएर उनि हरु बिद्रोहमा उत्रे। मधेसीहरुको आत्मा निर्णय गर्ने अधिकार, स्वशासान् को अधिकार, र संघीय राज्यको माग एकदम जायज छ।

त्यै कारण मधेसी को बिद्रोह जायज छ र जनजातिहरुले पनि साथ दिनु जरुरी छ। कै गरि यस पालि पनि चुक्यो भने अर्को १५ वर्ष कुर्नु पर्ला। समानता को लागि यो अन्तिम पटक को लडाई लडौ।

Blame game is not going to work any longer. Whatever reason was there behind the fire in Terai, one thing is clear. The government needs to be strong, united and decisive than ever.
The so called Morchas are created only a few years ago, so is the Madheshi Forum, composed by Madhesis from all political forces. Whatever they have asked is in the agenda of the Maoists. Maoists have long felt a need to give a halt to their struggle due to the fear of such separate movements. Seven parties have realized this and hence the “PEACE AGREEMENT” between the seven parties and the Maoists.
Now, Prachanda has rightfully said “Maoists slogans” are being highjacked, it is not only by the Madhesi organizations but also the Congressis, UML, ex-Panchas and the rest. I admire Maoists for them being pleased that all are chanting their slogans. At the end, all the others are chanting the slogans only for their political advantages. They are at the same time trying to push the country toward a very dark era where ethnic violence may be inevitable. The only outlet is to bring Moistis in the government as soon as possible. As many in this blog have indicated the Morchas are using the tools designed by Maoists to put pressure in the government – Therefore, the Maoists being the mother of this invention, they must know better than any one else how to tackle the situation. There should be no compromise with non-political extremist organization.
Interestingly, dear Moriarty has not spoken on this issue. May be he is working on how to bring American forces in Nepal, since unstable Nepal could be a threat for the security of Americans. (Of course I am not serious. But, truly, Moriarty plus palace and ex-Panchas have now used their last resort to possibly bring active monarchy in Nepal. The seven political parties (minus Sadvabana) has a crucial role at this juncture to come above their party interests and let the Maoists handle the situation….

It’s just like shame and it is nothing and it just create the environment through some havoc in under as guided by royalist and indian hindu fundamentalists groups. I think the demand of the tarai people is most well come and such demand should address through amendment of interim constitution as early. And not to forget the demand of other segment of the people like, janajati, dalit, ethinics, pahade, mountain, and backward group of the peple. If it is in silence, te next revolution will start from top to the bottam and that will be very costly to the so called benifited section of the people and finally they again make the situtuation like today. So attention should go at hand by hand all issues of the problem those who are not yet raise to the government. ‘Royalists’ loot, torch homes
RAUTAHAT, Feb 4 – Thirty families have been displaced by alleged ‘royalist vigilantes’ who looted and set houses ablaze during demonstrations here by the Madhesi People’s Rights Forum (MPRF).
The alleged royalists, who infiltrated the protest rallies of the MPRF four days ago in Chandranigahpur, vandalized local houses before being faced with retaliation from the locals. However, they managed to loot 13 houses in Dumariya VDC-2 Bastipur and torch six of them.
District chairman of MPRF, Amar Yadav, issued a statement recently alleging the hand of royalist elements behind such incidents in Chandranigahpur and Bastipur. He claimed that royalists had infiltrated MPRF demonstrations.
Houses belonging to Mitra Lal Pokhrel, Narayan Pokhrel, Dadi Ram Pokhrel, Mohan Pokhrel, Ishwor Timilsena and Ram Bahadur Pokhrel of Bastipur were completely gutted by the fire. The settlement has become totally deserted after the arson.
Local resident Bishnu Timilsena said that she fled with her newborn baby after scores of irate people started to set fire to her house. “They started setting fire to the house and told their people to loot all the houses of the Pahades,” she said recalling the incident.
The group also looted over Rs 2.4 million in cash from 17 houses including those of Laxmi Pokhrel, Yubraj Timilsena, Him Lal Wagle, Nain Dutta Pokhrel, Rabindra Wagle, Khumraj Pokhrel and Nandu Pokhrel. The locals said that the group also took away cattle from the houses and smashed kitchen utensils.
Following the destruction, local human rights activists have installed the displaced at the house of Bijay Wagle of the same VDC.

The time has come to take an action against those JTTM by the state.The goverment has called them in for peace negotiations but it seems like they are not willing to come in this process. I believe, the JTTM are not interested in the peace negotiations because they are making an easy money by abducting the Pahadi people in Tarai, however, they have also began to terrorize the Madhesi people in Tarai by asking for donations.By this manner theses people seem to be emulating the Maoist strategies. In my belief, this is an easy avenue for them to gain financial status.JTTM has already killed innocent police officer and looted arms and ammunition.
They recently killed civilian at Rupnagar and looted arms and ammunition from the police post of Saptri District, therefore, the state immediatly should give them certain dead line to come to the negotation table. If JTTM choose not to abide by the state request then the State should declare them to be terroists and not give them any opportunity to gain their strength.Therefore, the state should deploy the task force to hunt those rebels and punish them for their crimes.

I DID NOT UNDERSTAND ONE THING. When 21 people get killed in earlier “whole Nepal revolution” by earlier government run in leadership of King, he was charged as murder. But now, the present government who have come in to the power with the support of the people and who have promised to better life for the people of Nation are regularly killing people. I think they should be charged as murderer or even more. They are not doing any responsible thing. They are seen totally irresponsible, think for their own benefit, money, power, kursi. They should be hanged till death.

Madhesis are also the people of Nepal (Nepali Janata). There is no difference between Gyane sarkar and now Girija-Prachand sarkar..rather now they are worst than Gyane..They are killing people everyday for nothing..And from this Maobadi need to pay lot for their mistakes they commited in Terai now. धन्न बुढो गिरिजा जिउँदो छ , उसको बुढो काँधमा बन्दुक राखेर शिकार गर्यो अनि जस आँफूले हसुर्यो अपजस काङ्ग्रेसले यस्तो गर्यो , उसो गर्यो भन्दै आँफू पानी माथिको ओभानो बन्यो ! नेपालमा ७०% कम्युनिष्ट त छन तर हुतियारा र दुइजिब्रे साँपहरू जस्ता , भित्र बस्यो मेवा मिष्ठान्नका साथमा मिटिङ र निर्णय गर्यो , लिन पर्ने फाइदा पनि लियो अनि हिँड्ने बेलामा नोट अफ डिसेण्ट लेख्यो बाहिर आएर अर्कै हुण्डरी पिट्यो । आठदलको गठबन्धनमा सद्भावना अलग्गिने भनेकै छ , बाँकि फुटेको २ काङग्रेस बाहेक अरू सबै कम्युनिष्ट भएपछि बहुमतले काङ्ग्रेसले गर्न दिएन भनेर सबै बामहरू मिलेर निर्णय गरेर निस्के हुन्न ? किन हुतिहारा हुने हाम्रा पक्षमा मात्र सारा नेपाल छ भन्ने हरू हँ ? अनि कति यो छेपारे रंगको राजनीति गरेर देशलाई रुवाउने धर्धरी हँ ?
हुन सक्ने नसक्ने हल्ला र आश्वासन बाँडेर मान्छे बटुलेर सबैलाई सबै चीज पाउँछौ भनेको परणाम हो अहिले तराईदेखि पहाड जल्नु भनेको र यसको जडमा माओवादको भिजनरहितको उग्रजातिवादको तुष्टीकरणको हिजोको एजेण्डा र अरू कम्युनिष्टहरूका आफ्नै सिद्दान्त विरोधी भोटको राजनीति गर्ने फोहर चाल जिम्मेवार छ । कम्युनिष्टहरू त मान्छेलाई केवल बुर्जुवा र प्रोलिटारियट वा शोषक र शोषितका २ जातमा देख्छन र विश्वभरि सम्यवादको विजय मार्फत एकल विस्वको कल्पना गर्छन , कहाँ हुन्छ कम्युनिज्ममा २ देखि ३ हजार जनसंख्याका लागि अलग प्रान्त र मुलुक ? मार्क्सको कुन ग्रन्थले यसो बनेको छ ?

Newars, Tamang, Limbu and innumerable others are on the fence, waiting and watching for their turn to rape.
As somebody said, it only takes cool heads to stay silent for the evil to get victorious. We saw it happen with Maoists , now JTTM & Co. are only following their path.

Why all this civil war when the country has not come up and has not formed a credible government from the tyrant era of Gyanendra. What is happening with these separatists. Who provocated them Gyanendra, some Indian Leaders or these animals are self proclaimed destructive agents of the feeble country which is just trying to crawl ahead from all past misfortune ( Shah and Rana,s tyrant rule, maoist insurgency). I am sure the seed was sawn by communists(maoists) but the situation is worsened by Palace, some thugs living in Terrai I am talking about the real nepalese of terrai ( it does not separate between madesi and pahade). I am sure if the Government, army, security forces, eight parties and real nepalese of terrai work together some criminals inspired by Gynanedra’s money can be fixed for ever to get control over the situation. What this Jwala Sing is trying to achieve separating Tarrai from Nepal. If it is separated where he wants to go after that. Does is wants to give to Bihar. When I was student in India I used to hear about some notorius criminals like Sura Dev Sing and his brothers. They used to do contractor job in big project of Norther part of Bihar and in border part of Nepal like Koshi baarage etc. This Jwala Sing must be follower of those criminal. Is the government is trying to work hard how much Gyanendra and his thugs are inside all these happening. Time has come Girija and Prachanda will have to work hard to resolve the issue rather than talking nonsense to grab power only.
Do not let the country be ruined by these mad dogs and ruled by criminals. Nepalese have suffered so long and not any more.

We all appreciate that he did good progress by establishing an educational institution, but he is another dictator that who did not allow his staff (faculty and staff) to establish any organization. This newly found love of paharis to madhesh is reflection of both fear of losing their doorsteps to the world and the lust for resources of madhesh. Paharis miscalculated strength of madheshi when they shamelessly ignored rights of madhesi when they agreed for constituencies just like king did when he illegally grabbed power. Madheshis have not only lived through the taunting of paharis, especially newars, in streets of Kathmandu for decades but also seen bigotry of educated elites whose soul is so scarred that it pains for them to behave respectfully with madheshis. It is so deep seated and ubiquotous in pahari community, it will be idiotic to expect any change from current generation. Only political and legal provision to protect madheshi’s rights will ensure future generations of paharis will not inherit such bigotry.
Now that this government of baauns and newars have totally lost trust of medheshi people, for government to show any credibility, madheshis have to see concrete actions with tangible results to ensure the legitimate rights of madheshi, not spirited monologues and fiery rhetoric’s. This government is responsible for current events of this madhesi movement by minimizing issues and slighting leaders and is continuing in the same path. Any movement has many unknowns and is dynamic and as it will become more intense, stakes will be much higher for both sides. Eventually time will come when sacrifice of madheshis will be far too much for anything that paharis can give to madheshis.

My message to all nepalese.
I don’t think there is necessary to consult about the Medeshi and Pahari. Is there any saperation with nepalese? We all are nepalese. If we are talking about the community we’r thinking different to same nepalese, so that there is not necessary to talk about Madeshi and Pahari. We all have same right and same nepal. People wants Peace not War. Try to creat work not War. War kill people and Work save people. Why all we don’t think about the nepal and all nepali, why do we think about the community??? Is there any reason? Who think about community that can’t think about the country? Home war creat the poverty and sickness? I request all the nepalese people (specially Leaders) to think about nepal not about yourself and community.

I am thinking the things which are going like that is created by PRACHANDRA and girijia. the gyanendra killed more than 20 people when all nepalis are protesting his rule. today, GIRIJA sarkar are killing madhesi and PRACHANDRA is talking to take action with his joint army forces to stop terai revolution, then what is the differences between this PRACHANDRA-GIRIJA sarkar and Gyanendra sarkar? i think follish prachandra is going mad and if he still talking like that, someone madheshi may kill him in his terai tour or his party will never win a single seat from Teria. this is sure. if i am in nepal right now, i may try to kill him myself first.

I believe in equality, freedom, liberty and justice for all Nepali people no matter they are madhesi or pahade or any other Nepali ethnic groups. Also, this press release does not seemed to be high lighting national unity, sovereignty and solidarity among Nepalese. Nepali needs to take care Nepali madhesi.
