दुई दिनभित्र अन्तरिम सरकार गठन हुने घोषणा गर्दै नेपालगञ्जबाट हान्निदै अस्ति काठमाडौँ आइपुगेका माअोवादी अध्यक्ष प्रचण्डले त्यही दिन कुपन्डोलमा सरकारी वार्ता टोलीसितको भेटपछि भनेका थिए- भोलि बिहान प्रधानमन्त्रीसित भेटेर कुरा हुनेछ। प्रचण्डको त्यही भनाईलाई विश्वास गरेर हिजो बिहानदेखि प्रधानमन्त्री निवास बालुवाटार रुङ्गन गएका पत्रकारहरु खाली हात फर्कन बाध्य भए। त्यहाँ रहेका पत्रकारहरुलाई नेपाली काँग्रेसका उपसभापति सुशील कोइरालाले भनेछन्- प्रचण्डले हिजो के बोल्नुभयो, हामीलाई थाहा छैन। प्रचण्डले भेट्ने भन्दैमा प्रधानमन्त्रीले भेट्नु हुन्छ र ? को हो प्रचण्ड भनेको ? पत्रकारहरु जिल खाए।
हुन पनि प्रधानमन्त्रीलाई ‘दर्शनभेट’ को समय नमिलाई उबेलाको समानान्तर सत्ता चलाए जस्तो प्रचण्डले भोलि भेट्छु भनेर प्वाक्क भनिदिइहाल्नु भएछ। ए बाबा, प्रधानमन्त्री त अहिलेको कार्यवाहक राष्ट्राध्यक्ष पो त। कहाँ जो पायो उहीले चाहेको बेला भेट्न सक्नु। अस्ति नै सुन्नुभएन, राजालाई त दर्शनभेट दिनुभएन रे उहाँले।
प्रधानमन्त्रीले हिजो प्रचण्डलाई त भेट्नु भएन, तर अमेरिकी राजदूत जेम्स एफ मोरिआर्टी, भारतीय राजदूत शिवशंकर मुखर्जीलाई भेट्नु भयो। प्रचण्डलाई नभेट्नुको कारण थाहा भएन। शायद सल्लाह नै नगरी भेट्छु भनेको रिस, अहंकारले गर्दा पो हो कि। अन्तरिम सरकार गठन नभएर राजदूत नियुक्ति लगायत राष्ट्रिय मानवअधिकार आयोगका पदाधिकारीको नियुक्ति आदि कार्यसमेत रोकिएको छ। माअोवादीहरुलाई पूर्ण रुपमा हतियारविहीन बनाउन पनि अन्तरिम सरकार नै बन्न जरुरी छ। अन्तरिम सरकारमा माअोवादीहरु आइसकेपछि उनीहरुको सुरक्षा पक्कै पनि राज्यले नै गर्नेछ। त्यतिबेला मन्त्री महराका दुई किसिमका सुरक्षा त पक्कै हुँदैन होला।
बिहान प्रधानमन्त्रीलाई भेटेर दिउँसो धनगढीको आमसभामा सम्बोधन गर्ने प्रचण्डको योजना भताभुंग भयो। बिहान भेट नभएपछि साँझतिर त होला नि भनेको साँझ पनि भएन। आज बिहान पनि भएन। बरु आज बिहान प्रधानमन्त्रीले चिनियाँ राजदूतलाई भेट्नु भयो।
थाहा छैन, शान्ति प्रक्रियामा महत्त्वपूर्ण मानिएको अन्तरिम सरकार गठनको विषयलाई लिएर प्रधानमन्त्री र प्रचण्डको भेट किन लम्बिरहेको छ। दुई नेताबीच तँभन्दा म ठूलो भन्ने अहंकार त यसको कारण हैन ? यदि त्यसो हो भने नयाँ नेपालको नारा लगाउनु व्यर्थ हैन र ? के परिवर्तन भयो र उहिले र अहिलेमा।
यसैबीच, आज साँझ प्रधानमन्त्री र प्रचण्डको भेट हुन सक्ने बताइएको छ। तर यो निश्चित भने भइसकेको छैन।

Yes, I think Prachanda needs to know his limited in many of the cases. I don’t understand why his comrades need to carry guns and riftle even to give him protection and to give protection for other Maoist leaders. Even the maoist leader in the parliament bragging about possession of weapon is too much. If they are to do every thing and are allowed to carry guns and rifles publicly whenever they want where is the proper law of the country and what is meaning of signing in Peace treaty.

Girija needs to cosult Moriarty and Indian Ambassdor to prepare himself how to deal with Prachanda. Thus, he could not meet Prachanda, infact.
I guess that is the prime reason.
No forces whether political or diplomatic will can block Maoist to enter into interim government. This is the need and demand of present time.

The sad reality is that Girija does not have a vision, nor a leaderhip. If he did hava a bit of either, we would not have to face the cruelty of the Maoists and the Royal Nepal Army in last ten years.
Sher Bahadur would have faded into the history as an incompetent home minister, but it was only due to the weak leadership of Girija that he, Sher Bahadur, was made a hero. Khum Bahadur, Govinda Raj, Chirinjivi Wagle, Badri Mandal amassed wealth right under the nose of Girija due to his mismanagement of the country under his weak leadership. Girija sees nothing further from his close relatives. Sujata and Shashanka are made leaders not because of their deeds and grassroot following, but only because he does not trust anyone other than close family members. Sushil Koirala had all his chances all these years but he did not prove he can handle the situation.
Let us face the reality. Soon, Girija will disappear. We will have all kind of obituary for him. He deserves some to an extent due to his long struggle for freedom and democracy. No one can deny that to him. But all in all, if you look his accomplishments all these long years when he was at the helm of the power, he had all the opportunities to take the country into the right direction and he bungled it, he failed miserably, he squandered it, and he will go into the history as a leader without a vision and directions.
However, that said, I rate Girija much higher than royalists and do nothing but blabber mouth Surya Bahadur and Kishunji. I rate him much higher than illiterate Deo Bahadur Sheopa. It wuold be better if Girija steps down as PM now so that the coterie or his kitchen cabinet will stop taking undue advantages of the sick and senile Prime Minister. The country can be spared of another catastrophe.

It is the true fact that Girija Koirala is giving less importance to its people than the foreign dignitaries. He has time to meet the ambassadors but not his own countrymen who are waiting for the decisions. He has to keep the door open to them to solve the problem and not avoid it. It appears that to make any deals with Maoists and other remaining parties of SPA he does not need the blessings of Pashupatinath but the blessing of the ambassadors. Is this a good way to run the country? Shouldn’t he be strong enough as a Prime Minister to face the problems without any foreign influence? In this way we Nepalese will have to be totally dependent upon the foreigners on any political, economical and social matters of Nepal. This will only help the Terai Radical Madhesis who has strong social and political ties with India. Many Madhesis think themselves Biharis than Nepalese. They can always fall on to the people from the other side of the boarder like the Tamils in Sri Lanka. Rests of the Nepalese have nobody to turn to if they have problems. In this case the people will prefer the King rather than having the Terai run the country dictated by the people living on the other side of the boarder.

यही साता कतै अखवारमा “अव नेपालको राजनितीको संभाव्य बाटाहरु ज्ञानेन्द्रपथ वा प्रचण्डपथ मात्र हुन्” भन्ने आशयको डा बाबुराम भट्टराईको उक्ति पढ्दा किन बेला कुबेलामा डाक्टर साहेवका मगजमा यस्ता धुन्दुकारी विचार आउने होलान् भनेर अचम्म लागेको थियो। तर गएका २-३ दिनमा बालुवाटारमा मंचन नाटक हेर्दा भने डाक्टर साहेवको कुरो अलि चर्को जस्तोलागे पनि मुनासिब लाग्दै आयो। माओवादीहरु जंगलबाट संसद सम्म पुग्दा निश्चय पनि धेरै परिवर्तन भएका छन्। यस्तै सुजबुझ र जिम्वेबारीको व्यबाहार संसदवादी दलहरु र राजाले २०४७ पछि अख्तियार गरेको भए मुलुकले यस्तो नौवत किन व्यहोर्नु पर्थ्यो होला र? तर माओवादीले जति लचकता र व्यबाहारिकता देखाए पनि सवैबाट एकोहोरो खेदाई जारी छ। अमेरीकाको त के कुरा गर्नु र? कृष्णबहादुर महराको व्यबाहार गोविन्दराज जोशिको जस्तो नभए सम्म अमेरीकालाई महराको मन्त्रित्व किन स्वीकार्य हुन्थ्यो? सुजातालाई त माओवादी त के माओवादीसंग हात मिलाउने सिटौला देखि नै एलर्जि। अव त हुँदा हुँदा नेपाली राजनिती मंचका महा-जोकर सुशील कुहिजालाले पनि प्रचण्डलाई रौं नगन्ने भएछ बा!
मेरो सोझो र बोधो दिमागले बुझेको कुरो चाँहि के भने, अहिले मुलुकलाई चाहिएको प्रभाबकारी शासन हो। राजनितीको लटरपटर बात संग खासै सरोकार नभएका बहुसङ्ख्यक नेपालीले खोजेको पहिलो कुरा राज्यको शासन हो (सुशासन पाए त वेसै हो, तर राज्य नै नभएको अनुभुती हुँदा प्राथमिकता शासन हो)। प्रभाबकारी शासन (मलुवा ठोक-ठाक सहितको) गर्ने क्षमता भएका आदमी त कि ज्ञानेन्द्र कि प्रचण्ड नै हुन् ! यस मानेमा डा बाबुराम भट्टराईको उक्ति मलाई त त्यति नाजायज लागेन।

Girija is not the choice of Nepali people it was compulsion. He has no vision and no democratic nature. He is egoist person of Nepali politics. He is the one splitted his own party for the sake of the power. How can we Nepalese trust on him. He is driven by international powers. Nothing will change unless and until he quits the job. Don’t know what he has been doing in his quarter. If he is ill, then he should quit the power. Leave the place for someone capable, energetic and decisive person. However, Nepal and we Nepali are only expert in backbitting. Consequently, opportunits have been benefiting from it, which is a pity.
why delay forming the government? Lack of trust or so? If you guys suspects maoists have hidden their weapons, there are ways how to control them. Like declare those weapons which are not registered are the illegal ones. Dovote yourself and motivate people making Nepal. Starts the job without delay.

It shows only apathy in nepali politics.
It has been crystal clear that how and who operates nepal’s politics in clandestine. US needs a strong henchman in nepal, for long they had been using Gyane as their permanent agent or apparatus.
Nepal is for nepalese, nepal’s politics needs to be determined by nepali, but specifically and categorically not by any daft foreiner and royal stooges.
It will be a blunder to bypass maoist again. while having said this, you may think i am a maoist supporter, I am not at all, nor can i be throughout my life, but as it seems to me effort to marginalise others ultimately marginalises you and trying to come at centre stage by bypassing others makes more chaos.
our leaders [so called- so far i have not seen a single good, virtuous leadership in nepal]. politics must must must be for the next generation, for thier good but not for the satta and a means to collect amass property like- sujata, govinde, khume, laxmane, stupid royals, former big wig panches, so many others. likewise those who work for the customs, tax and excise offices they have amassed property, why do not they search those culprits and bring them down to people and make them face consequences?
Finally, it is nepal, foreingers please do not meddle, girija- it is your good and high time to show your strngth and tolerance and this will cover up your past misdeeds, ghamnda[obstinacy] and the more huge corruption. I do not believe that you are not a corrupt.

I think Prachanda is over smart but he still did not understand some formal courtesy. He has still rebellion hangover so need to learn how civil system works, he and people from his party’s should know how an appointment or meeting things works with head of the state or head of the government. He is feeling, acting and performing as super dictator without taking considers his limitations. I hope that he would learn something from this incident and will improve in his character, mentality and in working style. Thanks
