प्रधानमन्त्रीले भेट नदिएको रिसमा बालुवाटारको सडक मै पत्रकार सम्मेलन गरी अनिश्चितकालीन बन्दको घोषणा गरेका उद्योगी व्यापारीहरुको बन्दका बावजुद बिहान ६ बजे कलेजतिर लागेँ। गाडी त चलिरहेको थियो, तर हिँडेरै पुगेँ। किनभने हिजैदेखि गाडी नचल्ला, हिँडेर जानुपर्छ भन्ने मानसिक तयारीमा थिएँ म। गाडीहरु मजासँग चलिरहेका थिए।
बन्दको प्रभाव त कलेजमा पनि परेको देखियो। धेरै साथीहरु अनुपस्थित थिए। तैपनि जति थिए, त्यति बसेर पढ्न थाल्यौँ।
लेक्चरर आउनुअघि गफ हुँदा एक साथीले गजबको कुरा सुनाउँदै थिए। उनले अर्थमन्त्रीसित हिजो फोनमा बन्दको प्रतिक्रिया माग्न फोन गरेको रे। अर्थमन्त्रीले त अझै पुगेको छैन माअोवादीहरुलाई, तर के गर्नु मैले भन्न मिल्दैन भनेर भनेछन् रे भनी हसाउँदै थिए ती साथी।
दुई वटा क्लास सकाएपछि फर्किएँ। बसपार्कतिर यसो हेरेको, गाडीहरु टन्नै थिए। बन्दको कुनै प्रभाव थिएन त्यहाँ। त्यहाँबाट हिँडेर न्युरोडसम्म गएँ। बाटोमा बन्दको खासै प्रभाव देखिएन। केही स्कूले बालबालिकाहरु स्कूल ब्याग बोकेर कुरेर बसेका थिए। बिचराहरुको स्कूल बन्द थियो कि थिएन कुन्नि। किनकि प्याब्सन र एन प्याब्सनले त बन्दको समर्थन गर्दै बन्दको घोषणा गरेको छ।
न्युरोड त व्यापारीहरुको क्षेत्र, बन्दको प्रभाव पर्ने नै भयो। एउटा ट्याक्सी माइकिङ गर्दै हिँडिरहेको थियो- माअोवादी ज्यादतिविरुध्द बन्द गरौँ भन्दै। मिठाइ पसल, अौषधी पसलहरु खुलै थिए। अरु भने बन्द। अरु त अरु बैङ्क अफ काठमाण्डुको २४ आवर एटिएम लेखिएको बोर्डमुनि एटिएम पस्ने ढोकैमा भोटेताल्चा ठोकिएको थियो। सबै बैङ्क भने उस्तै रहेनछन्। कुमारी बैङ्कको एटिएम भने खुलै थियो।
विशाल बजार पनि बन्दै थियो।
लेख्न त अरु पनि मन थियो, तर के गर्नु अब अलिकति ढिला भयो भने आइस्पानको इन्टरनेट बन्दमा परिन्छ। अब केही मिनेट मात्रै बाँकी छ- त्यसपछि त इन्टरनेट बन्द भइहाल्छ। दुनियाँमा कतै नभएको बन्द हाम्रो नेपालमा हुन्छ। के गर्नु, गौरव त गर्नु पर्ला नि।
जाँदाजाँदै एउटा नबुझेको कुरा पनि राखिहालौँ- माअोवादीले उडल्यान्डका हरि श्रेष्ठलाई मात्र हैन, मल्ल प्रेसका प्रोपाइटरलाई चुट्नु चुटेका थिए। तर व्यापारीहरुको बन्दमा किन हरि श्रेष्ठको मात्र नाम ? अरुलाई कुट्नु कुट्नु हैन ? अरु माथि ज्यादति, ज्यादति हैन ?
अब अझ केही लेखेँ भने पक्कै इन्टरनेट बन्दमा परिन्छ। त्यसैले हतारमा लेखेको सच्याएर पढ्नु होला।

Dear Freinds,
I am strongly against the all sorts of Band (strikes) and Vandalism but it is important that one should know thw reason behind the action.
Mot of us hoped that once maoist come to main stream politics, nepal and neplai can live in peace and progress. We all know the result, which is just opposite; situation is more caotic and anybody can say it is because of MAOIST and only Maoist nothing else.
Atleast me, not any more, a single percent beleive the Maoist and its Leader. In every incidents, all their leaders have different TONGUES (nobody can undersatand them with their दुई जिब्रे कुरो). It was happend in LAHAN, yesterday in Kathmandu and we are used to see or hear of these MaoBandit activities everyday.
Maoist atrocities is growing day by day and where are the so called “नगरिक समाज”. Where are Dr. Pandey and Pahadi Ji? we know you two are not Dollar Follower like other yours collegues, who come with you to sit on the street. Why don’t you two persons say (atleast) something? I have faith on you. You people always cried for the Human Rights of Maoist and we most people support the actions, but where is yours voice today?

First of all thank you very much for posting your (hard to understnad english ) article, i suggest u to write in nepali rather than english. your english is really rediculous. any way after the language lets go to the other side of article, i and my friends couldnt understand what are you trying to say? are u saying that the beaten up to mr. shrestha is nothing? or r u trying to distract the situation? r u trying to say that hiding weapon is right step?

Well Limbu Purna the hotelier name is not Rabi Shrestha but Hari Lal Shrestha.
These Maoists leader have two tongues (fork tongue) like a snake. The leaders are only worried about CA polls. They are just hunger for power and money.
Here is what they said.
1.The Maoist-affiliated All Nepal Hotel and Restaurant Workers Union has also denied involvement in the attack on the owner of Hotel Woodland. A press release issued by the Union today stated that the incident was all about a dispute between former workers who were suspended from jobs and the hotel management.
2. On the other hand, Maoist chairman Prachanda has also urged the business community not to launch strikes and bandhs “in the name of dispute between workers and an employer.”
Claiming that his party has no policy of attacking businessmen, Prachanda said that the incident of attack against Hari Shrestha of Woodland Hotel was primarily a matter between workers and the employer. “As per our information, the incident occurred after the employer did not implement his commitments towards the workers,” he said.
3. However, the Maoists have denied hand in the Sunday night incident. Talking to Nepalnews on Monday, senior Maoist leader Dev Gurung claimed that manhandling of the hotelier had nothing to do with their party.
He said businessmen were only targeting the Maoist party though the party did not have any involvement in the incident and added that they would take action if any of their cadres was involved in the incident.
4. Meanwhile, Maoist affiliated trade union, All Nepal Trade Union Federation (ANTUF) has said that two of its cadres have been suspended for their involvement in the beating up of hotelier Shrestha.
ANTUF chairman Salik Ram Jamarkattel said that Deepak Rai and Mukunda Neupane had been involved in the incident and that action has been initiated against them.
The Maoist cadres had abducted Shrestha from the hotel and severely beat him up when he refused to pay donation.
Jamarkattel claimed that the federation had never been involved in extortions in the past and that it had no plans to engage in such activities.
1. Before Maoist’s leaders said we sincerely deposited all our wepons.
2. Some wepons are left for our leaders security.
3. Most of the wepons were destroyed by fire and swept away by flood.
4. Well the sofisticated wepons are with hit any where commandos which are not disclosed.
These are the points the maoist leaders said trying to cover the lies told to the people.
