पोखराको गुम्बामा देखिएको मूर्ति। दायाँ छेउमा काटिएको टाउको सिउरेको हेर्नुस्।

Umesh Ji, i saw the video and thanks to you for doing little research on Guru Rinpoche. You though mentioned “dusta mantri” and some relation with Guru Rinpoche but that’s very little knowledge.
You’ve heard of BoudhaNath Stupa. If you go to Boudha and Ask where ‘Mai Than(Temple of mother)’ then you’ll be headed to the north of the Stupa. She was Guru Rinpoches mother Guru Rinpoche was assigned a job for his next life when asking for their wish after completion of making Boudha Nath Stupa. You were right, we regard him as another Buddha but in a wrathful form of Buddha. There are different sect in Buddhism and Nyigmapa(one of a sect) follows the path of Guru Rinpoche.

The concerned authority pretended dumb and rich migrants (mostly)crushed Nepali style of Buddist sculpture and founded new of their style. People now no more feel of their style seeing those sculptures. The bottomline: Money can dominate your identity,make the authority dumb and let the history twist for his favour.

I am totally agree with shakya and kiran: People just went thru the things what they have read, they didn’t realize/analyze anything.. and just went in one direction. I don’t want to blame anyone, but it’s going like that..
And One more things media misleading is more dangerous than political misleading.

To whom it may concerned: Hi guys if you do not know then better ask somebody before post on this blog.The statue which you talking about is not even Buddha Shykeymuni. That statue is Yogi Padma Samvaba(GURU RINPOCHE) Who was from India and played great roll to prolong the Buddhism in Tibet during 8th century.The head which you saw is not kindness person. It is head of evil person.In Nepal still some evil person leftover, and Yogi might have to use his miracal force to cut theirs head.

Buddha had different incarnation.Please ,lets not make any negative comment without stydying buddhhism.
It is possible to have such kind of pictures.
I am sick of people who writes comment without having a thorough knowledge .
Especially who makes racial comment(abusing brahmins,madishes etc)
I feel sometimes even umesh prefers such comment.

From my standpoint Umesh is untouched, he is just brining a truth forward, i don’t think that Umesh twisted the facts. What he saw that he put on writting to let us know.
I assume that this was a mistake of an artist while he was building the Budhha’s idol. Buddha is a sign of peace and he shouldn’t be holding such violating equipments on his hands whatsoever. So ladies and gentleman lets not put blame on Umesh but we must thank him for his efforts.

I totally agree with you. Nepalese people are mislead by the government and leading elites by just telling fictitious stories to readers, students, and others. People who teach, write, and interpret do not tend to be analytical, critical, and philosophical. I am tired of listenig and reading so called facts and figures. So, i request all the readers and writers to write and read analytically so that they get analytical power to empower themselves to overthrow the existing power, discourse, and knowledge and replace it with more egalitarian settings.

Please put some highlights on Teacher’s movement. We all parents are suffering in the fight bitween teachers association and School association. Our Kids are getting spoiled staying back at home. The government is giving a damn care about the future generation. This is one of the reason the all the parents wants to send their kids in India which will take our money to India. How can we expect that these politicians will do better in the country when they don’t have time to solve the small but major problem like this. They just care about their kursi, illigal income. Even Maoist are giving damn care about the current situation. All are same.
This is the message to all the suffering parents of the children that let’s not pay the bill for the days they have kept the school close. Let’s do it together or let’s come to street to throw this government if they don’t care about the present problem. If this had happened in past all the blody politicians might have come to street to throw away the government saying it is uncapable.
Let’s do it together.

It looks this article writer wants to divert attention of people from politics to religion. In religion one needs to go deeply before discussion. It is not issue like politics. Let us take Bramhanism, Upanishad, Buddhism, Jainism, Christianity, Islamic etc. These all are world class religions and each are more than thousands of years old after coming into being.
