त्यसो त नेपालमा नेपाल टेलिभिजनमा हाम्रो आफ्नै ‘नेपाली तारा’ पनि प्रसारण भइरहेको छ, तर चर्चा भने इन्डियन आइडलमा दार्जीलिङका प्रतिस्पर्धी प्रशान्त तामाङको बढी भइरहेको छ। काठमाडौँमा उनको चर्चा छ, इन्टरनेटदेखि लिएर पत्रपत्रिकासम्म पनि उनको चर्चाबाट अछुतो छैन। आज इन्डियन आइडलको फाइनलमा पुग्नेहरुको रिजल्ट सुनाउने कार्यक्रम पनि काठमाडौँमा विशेष चासोका साथ हेरिएको थियो। हिजो बटम फोरमा पुगेका कारण आज उनी आउट हुनसक्ने चिन्तालाई गलत ठहर्याउँदै होस्टले फाइनलमा पुग्ने पुरुषहरुको सूचिमा दोस्रो नम्बरमा नै उनको नाम लिएपछि भने सबै आश्वस्त भएका थिए।
आजको कार्यक्रमको भिडियो यहाँ हेर्न सक्नुहुन्छ।
घरमा नेपाली बोल्ने प्रशान्तसित नेपालका गायक जज उदितनारायण झाले कार्यक्रमका क्रममा नेपालीमा केही कुरा गर्ने गरेका छन्।

Once i visited the Darjeeling…. any way i am from pokhara…. but i like darjeeling very much… all were nepali… they love nepali …. they talk nepali… i am very happy that all the people were helping us…. very nice to nepali….
