आजको कार्यक्रममा च्याङ आउट हुने

अपडेट (अपराह्न ४) इन्डियन आइडलका नेपाली फ्यानहरुलाई खुसीको खबर छ। दार्जीलिङका प्रशान्त तामाङ टप फोरमा प्रवेश गर्न सफल भएका छन्। कार्यक्रमको आज बिहान भएको शुटिङमा म पनि पुगेको थिएँ। त्यसैले केही लेख्दैछु। आज राति प्रसारण हुने कार्यक्रम निकै इमोसनल हुनेछ। भारतीय सिरियलहरुमा जस्तो इन्डियन आइडलमा पनि आज आँसुको बाढी बग्नेछ। आजको कार्यक्रममा बटम थ्रीमा अमित, इमोन र च्याङ हुनेछन्।
यसअघि कार्यक्रम सुरु हुने बित्तिकै प्रतिस्पर्धी पाँचै जनालाई होस्ट हुसेन र मिनीले को आउट होला भनेर सोध्दा सबै केटाले अंकिताको नाम लिन्छन् भने अंकिताले चाहिँ इमोनको नाम लिन्छिन्।
तर जब नाटकीय परिणामको क्रम सुरु हुन्छ, तब बटम थ्रीमा हुन्छन्- अमित, इमोन र च्याङ। र, त्यसमा पनि सबैभन्दा कम भोट ल्याउने च्याङ आउट हुन्छन्।

hi friends i feel if sulekha is racial then we are also not much different becoz we vote for prashant becoz he is claimed to be nepali.as far as indian idol goes honest voting must be based on talent not becoz of his identity.as far as nepali language goes its too late to comment that it is language of only khas, whatever the reason, if there has to a national language it must be nepali only no doubt becoz it is spoken and written by a larger percentage of people.if u are not a madhesi or janjati empathy may not be possible and u might feel that unnecessary cry and unrest is being created. i sympathise for the genuine problem, but with reservations in the way the problem is trying to be solved. but this is not the right forum for discussing such problem. let the best talent be the indian idol, and please also watch nepal tara. thanx to sulekha for the brainstorming she created, of course for those who have.thanx everybody for their precious comments and time.

Hi Prashant,
Well done. You have such a great voice as well as your performance was always outstanding no matter what JAVED AKHTAR said. He’s been trying to get rid of you from gala round and still making pointless comments even you are singing better than other contestant like ANKITA, PUJA and even super hero AMIT sings certain type of songs only. Anu, Alisha, Udit are obvious and hygienic judges this is why you need to be careful and do as they are suggesting you to. JAVED AKHTER is taking side because you are not Indian and He never likes you to become Indian idol.
All I want to say is; for sure you can become Indian idol 3. However, You’re fabulous singer b’coz of that Javed makes his face like a cloud in monsoon whenever you get on stage. He is a discriminate judge and It does make a sense for your grand finale.

The outcry started when you said Nepali language is not for all Nepali.You said that Nepali is only for Bahun Chhetri. It is wrong. All people of Nepali origin around the world including Prashanta, Newar, Rai etc are uniting using a Nepali language as means of being a Nepali society, where you being Nepali citizen you do not want to accept it. You have to except that Newari language can not a identiti for for all ethnic group but Nepali does because 99% of population at least understand it that why is a means of communication for all group.
I also strongly belive that all language should not to be preserved.

Dear friends,
I have read your comments and understand that most of you do not agree with me. I think it quite unpredictable.
I have watched Nepal deteriorate and fragment into pieces in the recent years and it is not getting any better day by day. I foresee the existance of Nepal at stake. It is because of the expression of racial division and communalism more than a true and healthy nationalism.
The recent Prashant episode is a good example of that. Most Nepali people are crazy with Prasant for two reasons; people in Nepal envy India and Indian people. We want to challenge India but of course cannot win because India is large in size and population and scientifically much more advanced. And there are a number of reasons we do not like India, such as open border and inflow of Biharis, Indians being darker in skin, their arrogant attitude toward us, Nepali people’s obligation to join their army or work in their brothels and hotels and so on. We have a Gorkhali dignity but we are obliged to be humiliated by India.
Many Nepali people would rather be on the side of Pakistan rather than India although Pakistan is a country full of Muslim extremists. Nepali people do not even care about the riligious or linguistic solidarity with India against Pakistan or any other country.
Now, this Indian Idol is a good opportunity to win India. Although Prashant is not a born Nepali, he speaks Nepali and his last name is Tamang. His last name being Tamang has spurred the racial sentiments in Nepal. Because we Nepali people care more for our ethnic and racial identity, especially when it comes to “jana-jaati” than for Nepal as a country. Jaat bhaat is much more important for us than nationality. For us, maybe Udit Narayan is Indian. We would call him Madhese and Madhese is Indian for us. (ridiculous)
Prashant is an Indian but with Nepali as his mother tongue. It is almost like India claiming Udit Narayan to be Indian or Pakistan claiming the Muslims of Nepal to be Pakistani, which they are not.
The Nepali Muslims are not Pakistanis
The Indian Rai, Limbu, Tamang are not Nepalese
The Nepali Madhesi people are not Indians
So, it does not make any sense to support Prashant if it means to take revenge with India. Prashant is not representing Nepal nor is he going to open a charity for Nepali people after he wins.

I love music and I love Prashant being nepali origin. Surekha or Sulekha, many friends arleady proved she is racial/crap, and I donot spend much time to add more.
The remaining question is, whether Prashant is best or not? Absolutely not, at present form, atleast not better than Amit. I know Prashant’s family background, his conventional approach of music without any formal traiing, I have sampahty and full suppot/best wishes for him. But I am telling from the bottom of my heart, if Prashat will win, I would be happy but at the same time, I would be disappointed seeing loosing Amit which has shown tremendous maturity/fun in singing. The judges had not fare with our Prashant untill lately specially Javed and Anu Malik. There might be a lot of racial reasons in secular(so-called) india, but I think those are the factors Prashant got advantages from. Recently, Anu Malik has realized that Prashant has the highest un-changed vote banks, he started to speaks in favour of Prashant unwilingly. I am wondering about from where votes are coming for Prashant? is it Indian army, indian police or nepalese/nepalese origin people in India and abroad?
To be frankly, I want to see Prashant and Amit in final two and I do not want to loose music fun ultimately there.

You could not make it clear but let me try to tell what may be the problem. Once one of my newar friend had told me (we are in government service) that all of his friends from the community could not even think of joining government services due to the language problem. They thought they could not compete with fluent nepali speakers and scared to compete lok sewa exams. It surprised me or rather gave a shock. The people who from generations are living in the capital city of the country are telling me that they can not join the government services due the problem of language. It really compelled me to think about other peoples as well whose mother tounge is not nepali. I think one and most ctitical problem with janajati and madhesis is this one. What I think is people from janajati and madhesi community are not coming forward with this sort of clear problems they are facing with current system which makes the Nepali language official in all government works. Imposing a language upon oneself which is not very familiar or comfortable ultimately inculculates hatred for the language itself.We have seen this in India. The government is trying to make Hindi a national language but people from south or Bengal would not speak in Hindi though they can. They become rather rude if you try to speak with them in Hindi.
I think this is the problem which is not clear to many. So while on the one hand janajati and madhisis are demanding for seperate state, Bramhins and chhetries do not understand why this for. people like Sulekha could not express the problem clearly and instead critisize Nepali language as belonging to Khas only. Meanwhile , it is also a fact that now Nepali language is understood by most people in Nepal may it be a janajati or madhesi but no other language carries this advantage. Therefore instead of critisizing Nepali language, lets accept it as a national language which can unite all neplese and try to find alternate solutions for the problems to Newars, janajati and madhesis regarding the language.

Hope you have got enough. But still I want to comment on some points. First who told you that we do not respect Udit Narayan? We know that he is currently the best singer in India. Here in Nepal I have not found anybody who does not like Udit or who is not proud of Him being a Nepali.
Secondly Nepali is a language understood by all neplese. Otherwise how you could communicate with other so called janajatis ? I respect the mother-tongue spoken by all casts and wish I could understand them. I also feel that you are more previliged than me because you know one more language than me. While you can enjoy chatting with your family members and community people in Newari, you can also speak to whole other Neplese. If you can speak english you can talk to the whole world. While whole the world is turning towards a globle village why u want to confine yourself and other to their community only.
Thirdly if you have been to Darjeeling and other places in India you would feel the difference. In Darjeeling, it feels like you are still in Nepal only the currency has changed. However it can be felt only when you reach their with a Nepali heart and not with that Newari or any janajati ones.
Lastly the supports to Prasant by people in Nepal gives a strong message that this language Nepali have the real power to unite the people of nepal irrespective of their cast or tribe. If you want a united and single Nepal you must say it is our language.

Miss Sulekha,
First of all I would like to ask u why are you using the language of khas in this bolg when you urself hate this language.Its probably beacuse you dont have any other options rather than writing in nepali or english?You know better that If you write in Newari, no one apart from newars will be able to understand what you mean.Why do most of the people in this world speak or try to learn english when there are other equal powerful languages like french,spanish and german?Its coz english is the gloabl language to communicate with people all over the world.If you speak in french in uk , america or even in Nepal,No one will understand u.But if you speak in english even in france or germany many people do understand what you mean although they might not be able to reply u properly.What i mean is english has been the tradition of global language since long time.There must be a common global language in addition to local language.
However having said this I dont mean we have to start speaking in english.Nepali(what you called khas)is the common language dat we have been speaking since ages in Nepal.How would a newar and tamang or bahun people communicate with each other if we dont have any common language.Well u might say english,but how many people do u think can speak in english in Nepal.(i guess you know the situation of countryside in Nepal).Nepal is our country and this language is spoken by all the communities in Nepal. we should not forget that this khas language is our national language which has been the commmon platform for all languages.
We Should try to respect and encourage every language but should not forget that we live in a mixed society where people of different communities live and share a common language.
Well about prashant tamang,Although by birth and citizenship he is an indian,by all other respects he is a nepali.he speaks nepali,shares nepali culture and values,prouds himself to be called nepali.Birth is not everything miss Sulekha.

हामी नेपाली हरु अत्ती नै सन्कुचित, जातिबादी (नेपाल राष्ट्रप्रेमी हैन), तातो रगतबादी र हिन्शा बादी र पुर्वाग्रही छौ
प्रशान्त को थर पौडेल भएको भए? प्रशान्त श्रेष्ठ भएको भए? प्रशान्त प्रधान भएको भए? अझ प्रशान्त झा भयेको भये? तिनिहरु सिक्किम कै निवासि भये पनि र नेपालि नै एक् दुइ शब्द बोलेको भयेपनि हामि कुनै वास्ता गर्दैनथ्यौ भन्ने प्रस्ट छ;
पौडेल, प्रधान, श्रेष्ठ आदी नेपाल भारत दुबै देश मा प्रशश्त छन, प्रशान्त तामाग को पछि लाग्नु को कुनै अर्थ छैन
अर्को कुरो प्रशान्त तामाग इण्डिया को पुलिस हो, “इण्डियन पुलिस” भनेको नेपालि हरु सबै लाइ थाहा नै छ, तर पुलिस हुदा पनि उस्को पछाडि हामि किन मर्न लागेको हो त्यो बुझ्न अझ कठिन छ
प्रशान्त तामाग ले इण्डियन आइडल जितेमा हामि नेपालि हरु लाइ के फ़ाइदा हुन्छ? हुन त उस्ले त्यो पदवि जितेमा नेपाल ले ठुलै सम्मान दियेर देश कै बिभुति बनाउला तर मैले तेस्को कुनै औचित्य देखेको छैन
