अमेरिकाबाट आएको डेस्टिनेसन ट्रुथ नामको टिभी कार्यक्रमका नौ जना सदस्यहरुको एउटा टोलीले खुम्बु क्षेत्रको साताव्यापी भ्रमण गरेको थियो। भ्रमण कै क्रममा उनीहरुले मन्जु नदीको किनारमा दुई हजार आठ सय पचास मिटरको उचाइमा यतिको विश्वास गरिएको पदचिह्न भेट्टाएका छन्। यो पदचिह्न यतिका कोरिने गरेका रेखाचित्रहरुमा जस्तै देखिन्छ।
अस्ति शनिबार उनीहरु पत्रकार सम्मेलन गरी यो पदचिह्न सार्वजनिक गरेका थिए। फोटोमा पदचिह्न पहिला देख्ने नेपाली गाइड।
24 घण्टाअघि मात्रै छाडिएका ठानिएका यी पदचिह्नहरुलाई अब अमेरिका लगेर अध्ययन गरिनेछ।
नेपालका उच्च हिमाली भागहरुमा यति देख्ने गरेको शेर्पाहरु बताउने गर्छन्। यतिका बारेमा गीत र लोककथाहरु पनि सुन्न पाइन्छ। तर यति छ भन्ने ठोस प्रमाण भने आजसम्म फेला परेको छैन।

I am agree with Dr. Gopal Paudel.Nepalese Government or relevant offices must keep on eye if really such kind of foot print were found.Our government must act on it and make arrangement for its varification.

If it is true, Nepal will be the research station and Nepali people will be certainly benifited. i think, its not a foot print of yeti. if we look at the rock and its formation and weathering process, this is just a look like a foot nothing more than that. be clear there is one any yeti, its just a imagination.

When I read this news, I just remember 5 years back story. At that time, one of my friend was working as a trekking guide. A Newzeeland girl booked a trekking package from my friend’s office. Her purpose to go nepal was to do research about so called yeti. My friend’s office promised her to show yeti. After that only she booked the package in expensive rate. My friends’s office asked my friend to arrange something for her and for that office will pay him extra money. After that my friend took her for trekking to show yeti. He brought that girl trekking for lamtang region. He gave some money to a villager over there and ask him to cry as yeti at night time in snow place. They had made a sandle by wood and ware by that villeger so that foot print will be different. She capture the voive that artificial yeti and got alot pictures of foot print. They were successed to kept her long time and got big money form her.
Here also if this is same kind of drama to get some money form foreigner, its stupid. If it is real, lets see what will be the result. Hope it is positive but i am not so much trustful on this. All the best

We need to get opinion from wildlife scientists on this issue. The concrete footprint, shown here, is definitely not a hard evidence. But surely valid scientific research is necessary at this point, with perhaps the questions like..what is the viable population size that is necessary to maintain yeti as a species? With that population size, what would be the rate of siting in that area? Can the environmental resources of that area as yeti habitat support that population? etc.
And there also a question, if we are skeptics of existence of Yeti, it has to be proved scientifically too.

It needs a complete research. One can not talk about before the result of the research. So, let them continue research on the footprint. It is fact that Yati was there before many years, but it is hard to say whether it exists now or not.

Its a nonsense exhibition… As said by Byas Jee this so called foot print is meerely a piece of rock (loooks like conglomerate made up of pebbles cmented with fine matrix (most probably limestone cement)). This kind of stones (pieces of rocks) are abundant in the region where glacier induced erosion and sediment transport is dominant.

Researchers of the destination truth have not displayed the original footage photograph. the stone line footage is the cast of the footage they might have prepared from the original footage. they are so many sightings of what we call ‘yeti’ or ‘bigfoot’or ‘sassquash’. many of us think yeti is like flying saucer which will never be revealed. yeti is the reality. some laboratories have testing DNA from suspected yeti hair and scalp sample. we hope the the myth or the reality of yeti will be revealed.

केही बर्ष अघि शैक्षिक भ्रमणमा शुक्लाफाँटा जाँदा हामीहरुले पनि बिरालो प्रजातिको जनावर देखेका थियौं । त्यो बाघ पनि हैन न चितुवा नै हो । बाघ भए पाटा हुनु पर्थ्यो र चितुवा भए कालो थोप्ला हुनु पर्थ्यो । जंगलि बिरालो त्यति ठूलो पनि हुदैन । नेपालमा सिंह छ भनेर थाहा पाइएको छैन । त्यसको आकार र रुप पोथी सिंहको जत्रो थियो । हामीलाई गाइड गर्ने चौधरी दाइले पनि मैले यस्तो जनावर देखेको थिएन भन्थे । क्यामरा हुँदा हुँदै पनि हामी मध्ये कसैले फोटो खिच्न भ्याएनौं ।
यतिको बिषयमा बृहत अध्ययन भएको छैन । आक्कल झुक्कल देखिने त्यसता अनौठा जीवहरुको फोटो खिच्न भ्याइन्छ नै भन्ने पनि छैन । देखिसक्दा भागि सक्ने हुन्छ । भनेको समयमा क्यामरा तयार अवस्थामा नहुन सक्छ । सगरमाथा क्षेत्रकै तेङ्बोचे गुम्बा (? गुम्बाको नाम याद भएन) मा १५-२० बर्ष अघिसम्म राखिएको यतिको भनिएको खप्पर (यदि हालसम्म बेचिसकिएको छैन भने) को अध्ययन गरे पनि केही तथ्य आउन सक्छ ।

Well, this can a research topic as it is, result is not likely to prove at all. First, it does not seem a footprint, as Byas pointed out, its not possible to mark disticnt imprint on Hard rock. Second, look at the size, people talk about yeti as a giant creature, this is too small.

I think, it is just stone which looks like foot step of Yeti. It should be foot print not a stone. Many times, we have seen many tree or tree branches as some familiar figure, similarly, it might be just look alike stone. It should be on the ground not on the stone. Stone does not get such impression just standing on it. I am not convinced.
