स्टार प्लसको भ्वाइस अफ इन्डिया छोटे उस्तादको शनिबारको कार्यक्रममा नेपाली मूलकी प्रतिस्पर्धी दार्जिलिङकी प्रकृति गिरीले नेपालीमा नै भनेकी छिन्- प्लिज मलाई भोट गर्नुस्। आजको डान्स गीत गाउनु पर्ने कार्यक्रममा प्रकृतिले ‘बिडी जलाइ ले…’ गीत गाएकी थिइन्। जजहरुले उनलाई योभन्दा पनि अझ राम्रो गाउन सक्छौ भनी भनेका थिए। छोटे उस्तादमा दर्शकको भोटिङ सुरु भइसकेका कारण एक-एक मत महत्त्वपूर्ण हुने गर्छ। दार्जिलिङमा प्रकृतिको सहायताका लागि फ्यान क्लब पनि खुला भइसकेको छ। यसले प्रशान्तको पक्षमा गरे जस्तै क्याम्पेन सुरु गर्ने भएको छ। त्यसो त प्रकृतिले सबैभन्दा पहिला सार्वजनिक रुपमा गाएको पनि प्रशान्त कै क्याम्पेनका क्रममा थियो। प्रशान्तको पक्षमा दार्जिलिङको चौरस्ता र जिमखाना क्लबमा भएको प्रचार कार्यक्रममा प्रकृति पहिलो पटक सार्वजनिक गायनमा उत्रिएकी थिइन्।
शनिबार प्रकृतिले गाएको गीत हेर्नुस्
यसअघि हिजोको कार्यक्रममा पाँच जना स्केरी जोन अर्थात् खतरा क्षेत्रमा परेकोमा प्रकृति सुरक्षित रहेकी थिइन्। यद्यपि हिजोको कार्यक्रममा जजहरुले कसैलाई आउट भने गरेनन्। छोटे उस्ताद सोनीको इन्डियन आइडल जस्तो दर्शक कै मतमा सम्पूर्ण आधारित हुने कार्यक्रम हैन। यसमा दर्शकको ५० र जजको ५० प्रतिशत हात रहन्छ। पहिलो नक आउट राउण्डमा कसैलाई आउट नगरिए पनि अबदेखि भने हरेक हप्ता एक प्रतियोगी आउट हुनेछन्। त्यसैले तपाईँको प्रत्येक भोट महत्त्वपूर्ण हुनेछ। भारतमा रहेका मजस्ता सबै नेपालीले प्रकृतिलाई प्रशान्तलाई जस्तै सहयोग गर्न र गर्न लगाई नेपालीलाई फेरि गौरवको शिखरमा पुर्याअौँ। rijen.ndh@gmail.com

prakriti is definitely a tlented singer. there is no doubt about her singer and it is the duty and responsibility of gorkha community to vote for prakiti and make her the winner and she deserves to b the winner. when people supported an average singer like prashant tamang why not for prakriti who is much more talented than prashant. her hindi accent her singing is fantastic if the nepali people doesn’t vote for her that will b unfair for her. we should help her reach her goal. all the best to prakriti.

actually, tv programmers are clever enough to select at least 1 person from darjeeling so that they can make mony. So this is a difficult situation. I think it is best to give vote according to her skill and ability instead of sentiment, so that it is fair to everybody.

I think Prakriti giri is competant but there are other contestants who are equally good.
BUT, in public voting, especially in India, contestants representation to particular region matters more (the past experienced showed this trend). Thats why Nepali community in India should strongly do lobbying to support Prakriti.We, Nepali community, out of India obviously would like to extend our moral support for Prakriti.

I have not seen prakiti’s program.But after prashant won and many articles were published regarding the identity crisis of Nepali I personally feel that Nepali should vote based on merit.If prakiti performs well then we should praise her effort and vote her.If she does not perform well then we should not be swayed by sentiment but instead let the person who deserves win the show.
So whenever a person of nepali origin goes on stage let the people feel that he/she has moved there based on merit and not on popular vote solely.Other wise in later years a capable nepali origin performer will be knocked out by performer from some other region like Panjab ,UP or so on who may have more die hard fan than that of nepali origin performer.
