In my view,
Main duties of National Army are do/die and should be nationalist with loyal to government. If government says left trun army must do, if right turn this also must. There should not be man-eater tiger like people in the national army who has already taste of eating man. In democratic world, army is always kept away from politics. So should be in Nepal if we believe in democracy. Majority (99%)of common citizens of Nepal have wrost pain in our history by too much blood sheding in Nepal for past one decade. If we will be not able to institutionalize democracy by election in Nepal now, unfortunately Nepal will be complled to revive Constitution of Nepal 1990. However, I think intergation of people liberation army of Nepal of Maoist (PLA/N) can be done by employment according to their qualification and ability with just open competition.

I agree with the comment of mr.Deuba!! Moist army should not be combined with the Nepal army!! They are created for the politcal profit and not to save the country. I do not blame Deuba or Koirala or any one for making statements and changing again many times for simple reason we are so naive about the ways and means of conflict resolution. The interantional standards and practice says that the only way to succeed any peace accord is through integration of armies of parties to the conflict. Unless, the state consider Peoples Liberation Army as terrorists or anti-national forces, they should eventually be integrated into Army or other national security instruments.
Even those identified by UNMIN (by now they are no longer “minors”)as underaged should be given an opportunity to join the Army. Country like Nepal can not afford having ex-combatants with guerilla training were set free in the society. Any time, if they get united can be a serious threat to countries internal security. A good reason for the government to take strong action against armed groups inside the country.
On Deuba, I think he is the one who should be wiped out from Nepalese politics first, even before Shailaja and Tara nath or other Panchas. Deuba is the person who surrendered to the palace, a puppet to USA and deceiving not only Nepali people but also their well wishers.

माओबादिसेना (PLA) नेपालिसेनामा समायोजन गर्नु भनेको माओबादिसेना माओबादि हुनु होइन।
नेपालिसेनामा समायोजन भयपछि तिनिहरुको कमान्ड माओबादि पर्टिलाई वा माओबादि नेतालाई दिने हो जस्तो मलाई चाहि कदापि लाग्दैन र त्यो कदापि हुनेछैन यदि त्यो हुन्छ भने यो गगने पनि यस्तो समायोजनको घोर बिरोध् गर्छ।
अर्को मुख्य बुझ्नु पर्ने कुरा,

Please mind that all the leaders were well aware that Maoist Combatants were politically indoctrined and also Nepalese army’s Chain of command is loyal to the Palace so as a part of democratizing the Army the decision on Security sector reform was taken.
So its not a matter to raise whether the Maoist combatants are politically indoctrined or not. Now the issues should be focussed on how should they be professionalized.
If anyone refuse to integrate maoist combatant on Nepalese security sector then please be ready to bear more critical situation in the country.

integration of maoist army into Nepal army is not so straight and easy as we people are thinking about.
If Maoist army is integrated into Nepali army as prposed by Moist, then what is the response if Jwala sing and goit proposed in the same way.
We all are very much convinced that Nepal army need to be transformed into very transparent unbiased and purely responsible to Nepali people. Many of the people critisized Nepal army because of its due affiliation with king and palace without valuing the general people verdict.
So, we all want Nepal army play a very positive and responsible role towards people of Nepal and be a Nepal army in true sense. If it is so, why should we support the idea of integration of maoist army into Nepal army that makes army more inclined towards Maoist as it used to be palace.

Integration of PLA soldiers will bring another crisis. So Better not to merge them.
They should be given other options to choose. If some of them wishes for foreign employment, government provide them loans and work offers.
Those who want to join national army, they should be kept in neutral ground for atleast 5 years and then only allow them to serve in National Army.

When military were surrounding to Maoist militants in Rolpa (Salleri) ( I do not remember exactly).At that time Giriza babu was a PM, ordered to military to use force. The Military chief or King did not accept such kind of horrible inccident to occure to people, it means Maoists were also Nepali people. If military took action might be present top barces of Maoists could victimize, it would be finish the Maoists or peoples’ revolution. In this way every one should accept such kind of fact thing. In this way Rajtantra lai sasthagatma Rakhnu parchha. In my opinion if Maiosts evaualuate the past inccident without´any side as a judge perfomance.They should safeguard the Nepal and kingship (Rajtantra). Maoist combatents are now purified and are no more terrorists but are politically concious armies. They could be great assets if they are given suitable job. They could do mush better in public sector security including borders where government shuld expand markets and transit point which help boost Nepalese economy. They could also be sent to international peace keeping force through UN as these are the proven skilled fighters. They are not the problem but the watch=dog of this nation so we must capitalise this resource for nation building. It is not worth merging this army into national army.

I don’t think army is the only place to include the maoist militants. But it should be as per the people’s mandate in constitutional assembly or in whatever some other democratic process. Deuwa uncle, don’t go army’s “sati”. Tell your vision without quoting the army but be careful whether this is proper time to discuss about this issue or not. This is what I’ve understood and I think it would be nice if Deuwa uncle could also understand: In democracy, army should follow the government but not vice versa or army should follow the parliament but not vice versa or army should follow the people but not the vice versa. Lets add one more thing: government should follow the parliament and parliament should follow the people’s mandate.
