Just because the newly arrived do not have anyone or much money, looks like they been taken to these places without showing any other options. The Mr. Tamang is seems to be a guilty person since he charged lot money with these helpless students on the name of HELP. Just to mention, there is a same kind of Hostage near John st, Lidcombe2141, Sydney.

Dear Freinds,
I am one of the student who was staying at the hostel i m not agree with mr akash that the news is not the first thing which was hapend as there was several visit of the Moreland council authorities and then they published in news and if you are so aware about the neples student y dnt u set up an union for them an advocate??????? you wouldnot have spoke if the news was not published right??? i understand that is not easy to get an accomodation at the very beginning of your arrival here in australia. There are many accomodation but these are not suits for our budget as we want the cheapest one so he is providing the house at low rent an obviousely you will not get proper facilities there it is just a common sense.
As far as Mr. tamang is concerned he gets 50 dollar for airport pick up and 250 per month rent that quite fair but the problem is he keeps the students like a goats and sheeps and another thing is if any one go to him an ask for the accomodation he will put anywhere else wheather there is place available or not. He never givs the address of house as the students come themselve and cant get airpot pick up fee. What i would sugesst to the upcoming students is tel the tel any consultancy dnt offer the hem’s hostel for accomodation as he has a good link with them especially INTERFACE. If anyone coming from Interface u can see ther is a email written by mr Tamang saying that he runs a hostel which is actually not. an u can also see ther is no address mentioned and not registered as well.
Arko kura to Mr. Sky if u want to report to immigration about this matter y dnt u report about the remaining hostels.
I hope the students are being able to find thier accomodation after moving from the houses.
I would like to sugest Mr. Tamang that u can run a proper registered hostel so that no one will be in trouble and studetns should get better services as well as you will get better money. But dnt think that the neples students came from nepal and u can do whatever u like.
And i m not agree with the news paper that You SAID none of the Hospitality students are working at GURKHAS HOW COME SO i know so many of them are working there.
Thanks for all commeting to this issue and let us know another romour that Kantipur TV and Nepal One tv has brodcasted that news from TV.

Dear “Aussie Nepali” Please try to read the content of the rent Mr Tamang charge. news sender said he charge A$400 per month. if visiter or any new comer come to abroad what will happen ! are they ready to pay A$150. per night ! I think Mr Tamang is right. he serve sevices in cheap or reasonable price. If non-nepali serve same think will you come to this point ? Mr tamang has concern about their freinds(who lives in that accomodation)as well. If you are that serious person why doesn’t you advice those new comer to not to stay on that type of accomodation !75% of Nepali are Helpfull in Australia. and some of Nepali are take facilities from old or senior nepali and kick off them(rog niko bhayo dabai nai birsiyo).

The fine for Mr. Hem Tamang is the lesson for all the DAKA and CHOR Nepalis all over the World. Here, In Australia who came in the past living for more than 5-10 yrs are Chor And DAKA. They try to get benefit from new comers. They dont help new comers and there are lots of AGENTS DALAL Nepalis who is cheating them from different ways. Some may be exceptional case very good person as well. The old ones think the new comers as the GHARPAT Nepali.
I am surprised why so many girls are coming to Australia. Why their parents are sending them. After coming here they start to copy the Aussie girls. Wearing just like them and changing boy friends every week.

I love all the comments written, howeveer anyone who has appreciated the so called TAMANGJI, he is a bloody blood sucker, moukebad ko faida uthauney, 200 per student per week, even if 10 student per house,AUD 2000, this is a total rip off. Any house one can get 400 for a week maximum…he should be penalised, black listed.

This is not problem, if any body doesn’t like it they are feel fee to find their convenince place to stay. no body holding holding any one Key to keep them on where they doesn’t like it. australia is fully democratic country.
the Nepali Student doen’t think about other side getting help from Mr Hem Tamang. Nepali Students getting cheap price in airport pick(If Institution arangement is A$100 to 120 per person) and nepali business operator doesn’t want to lost(buy in same price and sell on same price to nepali people) doing business with nepali people unless special circumantance.
If they stay at under non-nepali’s hostel they have to pay more like airport pick, house rent and other services such as finding a job, dealing with related issue. So I am not agreed that Nepali student dishappy with nepali business operator.
Kasai le majburi ko faida uthayeko chhaina. just nepali customer haru lai service didai charge gareko. yedi non-nepali manchhe le gareko bhaye sayad nepali student haru le testo sochdaina thiyo hola.nepali le ta jhan mahango hotel ma basnu bhanda sasto ani kaam chalau ani resoenable price ma service diyeko chha.

By the way, thank you Umesh Ji heaps for publishing my article. I just wanted to warn all those Nepalese students to be more careful and to be more prepared with everything when they go overseas. Also, I just want to warn those bloody shifty Nepalese who are already rich and still want to become more rich using poor and helpless Nepalese students, without knowing what the consequences will be…

Looks like most of us are confused about who’s to blame. Some are blaming Nepalese Students and some are blaming Hem Tamang.
Well, I do blame Hem Tamang because of his illegal activity. First of all, to open such a roaming house without license is illegal, on top of that, housing that many people in 6 bedroom house is nothing but an illegal business to make tones of money easily. I don’t see he’s helping anyone there – there isn’t any help involved there but there is lots of black (cash) money involved.
He makes $400 a month from each student. The mortgage of the house would be probably $2000 a month but he is making $400×78 = $31,200 (it’s 31 thousand dollars (NRs 1716000)) . (Has anyone seen any Nepalese making over $20,000 a month? Well, there is one…! not anymore!) I blame him coz he could have put 10 students in one house, another 10 in another house and another 10 in another house and so on… but he is shifty, greedy for money, even though he’s making pretty good money from his restaurant, he’s still shifty when it comes in terms of money.
I don’t blame students coz when a new student comes here in Melbourne they are totally in different world. Most of them are not prepared to face a new modern society and most of them are shy, nervous and bit quite type. If you look around local newspaper, check student union’s office, school’s advertising boards, yellow pages and others… there are plenty of accommodations available for rent (why don’t you try them all?). Most of the students cannot rent accommodations themselves these days because real estates needs a strong references these days, also they need evidence in papers to see if they are capable of paying the rent or not, it’s not like before. Lots of students I’ve met told me that they have tried hard in many places to find accommodations and were unable to get them. When I ask them in details I came to know that they actually haven’t tried hard enough to find any or in some cases they made some mistakes when filling in the forms… they gave references of people from Nepal (how the hell the Australian offices would say ‘Yes’ to references from Nepal?). So, yea kindda long story short… I have helped some students to correct their mistakes and to reapply. I have given some tips and tricks to some students to help them find an accommodation. I was even thinking to rent a 4 bedroom house myself and put maximum 8 students in there… but looking at such a news… na.. Im not gonna do it…
The updated news was – This Hem Tamang got charged by the council and he needs to appeal in court sometime soon. And heard that he got about $700,000 fine…. Looks like he will probably sell one of his house if this fine is true. And who know what the decision will be… he might be serving some period in jail too. That would be a shame to a millionaire Nepalese who owns 5 Gorkhas restaurants in Melbourne.

Thanks Vishal for long comment and time.
1. All students who come here, come illegally (excluding me). I mean they show fake bank acount (accepted as not much Nepalis have much money)
2. Here, if they don’t find a job, they are doomed, coz Nepal only allows $2000 and our competitors Indians have minimum $10000, so when taking rent we have to show bank balance and they win in “fair Competition”.
3. And those raw “untrained” people, where u expect them to find a job?? Clening (pode Kaam) Kichen hand and some lucky basterds in Coles and wOllies…
4. What to do with money?
50 % for going to pub and have fun…
30 % to save for next semester fee
20% for everything else… Travel is expensive.
So what to save for housing and other chores 0% if possible. It is the attitude that need changing, why spend so much for fun. I also been here for 8 months or so and living in share accomodation, I changed 4 houses, reason being sharemates were “DIRTY” never clean , never cook but work as a “CLEANER” elsewhere.
Finally settled with nice 3 people in a 2 BHK and all fine , paying little extra (just a little bit extra) than what people living in Hostel are paying.

In fact, Mr Tamang is not exploiting Nepalese students in Australia. I have friends who are in Melborne and Sydney and as per them, room rents over there are very, very high and it is damn difficult to get at a price of 400 per month. Mr Tamang is simply offering help to all our Nepali fellows out of kindness. If he had not been doing that, some other Indian buggers would have been doing. At least, there is a Nepali guy who is at least doing a business with the Gurkhas Express restaurant. oddityned@hotmail.com from Qatar

@Tumbahamphe has my support
Australia Study.
Australia has changed. Every parents must estimate following expense to send son and daughter to Australia.
Course Fees 15000 Approximately per year.
Living expense 12000 per year
Pocket money 5200 per year
others are extra
If you do not want your child to suffer in Australia you must arrange the above money before you decide to sent the child here, or when you phone rings after you send the child here , you should be prepared to hear any news ,any- from the child.
you should only send the child to Australia if you are sure that you have money to support for the entire education of the kid, there in nothing wrong with Tribhuban University or Kathmandu University,
Kids are crying everyday due to no job and no money which we have to see and face here. If you are parents and if you had to see this , you would never send the child here to suffer. you would decide responsibly as parents for the walfare of the child.
please think before you send them here.

Hello everyone,
After reading your comments I just wanted to make clear that There are many greedy Mr. Tamang’s all over Australia. As It is really getting harder day by day for accommodation and work, for Nepalese students in Australia, people like Mr. Tamang take this opportunity to earn their living. So all nepalese students please do think/find more about Australia before you plan to come here. Dont think everything will be fine when you arrive here, be prepared to tackle difficulties.

Dear Readers
Thank you for reading my comment, I wish to tell the exact situation of Sydney or Melnourne in terms of student accomodation which may help you guys to understand the problem.
1 Australia is a democratic country meaning all have rights to act if there is something unfair happening to them. Student accomodation which may have been pre arranged by the student before arrival therefore the students are responsible for their action and they are free to walk off if they dont like or if something unfair is happening to them.
2. Due to the slowdown in the housing market, people have stopped construction of building in large scale, and approximately 70 000 Student and 150 000 Migrants are coming to Australia every year and mostly settling in sydney and melbourne which is impacting upon the infrustructure and lifestyle badly and finding an accomodation is the hardest unless you with to live in countryside.
3. A Citizen of Australia who needed to rent an appartment had to pay 30 000 in advance rent last week in Sydney is also reality here. It is almost impossible for the students to find accomodation in sydney and melbourne due to the crisis in the housing market and the government is trying to fix i dont know when.
4 The fault is not of the agent, it is the market that is how it is, hopefully situation will change soon. Sydney is worse, there are 30 Chinese living in 3 bed appartment in sydney where rent of the apartment is about 1000 dollars in the city. Nepalese are living in much better conditions.
5. Almost a 100 student are coming from Nepal one a week and the pressure is always there on friends relatives and agents to accomodate new ones that needs to be realised as well.
6. Specially students who think to come here with 1000 or 1500 in pocket after paying student fee for one semester, they should think 10 times before coming here because it take 3 to 6 month to find a job generally and requires at least few thousand dollars in the pocket to settle first because they come with one suitcase, they need starting from toilet paper to bed, pots and pans which costs at least few thousands, and off course the rent must be paid in advance for 2 weeks to 4 weeks and there is 4-to 6 weeks rent deposit (Bond) and all up one requires a substantial amount of money.
7 Sydney and melbourne are most expensive place and one can easily find the information from the nepalese embassy in canberra about the situation of sydney and melbourne before sending the kids here to study. There is no surprise here if a student pays 200-250 per week as rent. this is normal.
8 The only reason the hostel in melbourne came in to light was because of the objection from the city council otherwise no student had complained therefore it is not ” nepali le nepali laai chuschhan”.
I believe that this blog is for a healthy conversation and debate, and not for an individual bashing hearing one side story of no significance and accusing a hostel owner who is providing greater services of accomodation to nepalese students in city like sydney. Students themselves find extremly hard to find accomodation here.
Please note that I do not know the accused person.
9. Airport Pickup, Please note that the petrol is $1.50 a litre. It may be few KM distance from the airport. Second, one has to sacrifice 2-3 hours of time waiting and for return trip. If the flight is late , additional time is required. Here people get 20 dollars an hour in average and according to the time and petrol spent in the car 80 dollars of 100 dollars is not a big money, or if someone feels expensive, how about catching a Taxi which could possibly more that what the agent is charging.
Sydney’s situation
There are student living in a Cramped situation here as well however, people who are not living in Cramped situation this is the lifestyle they usually they have.
Coming home mostly late night, coming drunk and vomit, coming and fighting, never cook, never clean, live dirtily, do not clean toilets and kitchens, never do shopping, never wash bedsit and quilt cover never pay in time, or some do not pay at all are the situation that current hostel owners face and at the end its all ads up to the costs as someone needs to tidy up the place.
There are around 30 Hostel in Sydney and all are operating fine and they all pay in average per head 150-250 Dollars per week which is much more than melbourne and student feed back is satisfactory.
IF THIS AGENT BASHING KEEPS GOING ON THE NET IN SUCH A REDICULES WAY, IT WONT BE LONG THAT THEY WILL ALL STOP OPERATING, AND THERE WILL BE GREATER IMPACT ON THE STUDENT COMING HERE, AND TOMORROW YOU WILL FIND A GIRL OR A BOY SLEEPING IN A PARK IN THIS GREAT CITY BECAUSE OF NOT BEING ABLE TO FIND ACCOMODATION.
THANK YOU

As per the news paper, I did not find anything against Tamang except violating some laws. In fact, he might be helping many Nepalese students who can not afford the expensive housing by letting them stay at the house that he owns.
It is also students’ responsibility to find about thier stay in Australia and cost before they depart from Nepal.

Thank you Mero Sansar for bringing up this issue. Reading the comments posted, I feel sad that the majority of people support this kind of exploitation. For those people asking “why do they have to live there”, the answer is: they don’t, once they are familiar with the place! And, sure, people in business have to be ruthless to make their money. But please do not give it a name of social service.
I would like to warn the parents. Do your homework properly before you spend your life savings to send your children to Australia or any other country. My son/daughter is studying hospitality! All that is very good. How do they survive here? Cleaning the dishes in restaurants for about 5 dollars an hour. They can’t afford to compete in the already tight rental market and have no option than to move on to another similar dump.
What is the responsbilty of the educational adisers in Kathmandu minting money? What is their motive behind recommending only the small institutes who are unable to assist international students with housing requirement? Higher commissions? They should know that when the reputed Universities provide free airport pick, no one should be charging $80. No wonder, there was big protest against IDP opening its doors in Nepal.

Its not fair in a name of being Nepali to cheat other nepali, He might be being example rather than commitement to money. As an article mention he is a millionaire, it shows his character more greeady towards law of magetism of money.such person have no heart for the sake of the country or nationaltism. What a nation will aspect with him?
Thinking as a student,as an landlord,as a businessman,as a dreamer comes different view, but as a whole i won’t support for such an activities.

Soon another news will come from sydney as well… there are lots of people who are doing this in sydney as well, and one of them I know is also member of Nepal Australia Association what a shame…..
You can open hostel and earn money but also give them service for the money you are taking, provide good rooms, kitchen and toilets and keep limited number of people. Don’t suck blood in name of help.

Dear Nabin,
Do u have any Problem weather some one is NC, UML of Maoist , RPP etc . Try be democratic not dictatorial like the YCL……
Learn to respect other. I find no reason for u to be soooooooooooo annoyed by his comments.
Australia is Australia not Nepal . so one is abide by the laws and rule of respective country.
It is clear that for the sake of few 100 dollars and to provide cheap accommodation to students Mr Tamang should not violet the rules.
He may be doing for good reasons but how can 48 people stay in 6 bedrooms( 8 in one room) unless it is a big dormitory like in the hostel or Hospitals.

I have taken this in the other way. As that man has actually helped nepalese student, so i don’t think he is exploiting nepalese students there. They can’t pay high rent in other area compared to his and he has actualy given selter to new guys. How can student be so foolish to see and sit in his exploitation if he has done. ITs country of freedom not nepal. So let us think from the other way too.

Hey
Its not mr Tamangs problem, its nepalese students problem!!!!!!!!!! In my opinion he is earnining money as well as helping nepalese students.
Some guyz already mentioned it, each nepaleses students show the required amount of tuition fee and accomodation to the immigration before applying visa. Then its their responsibility to manage, to that cost even college university can manage hostel with lots facilities. You need better accomodation in cheap price then how is ti possible? Another thing guyz, 100 bucks is nothing here if u work for 7-8 hours u can get it, and one day earning for one weeks accomodation its cheap. you earn dollars and convert it in NR, then how can it be cheap?
Again, Mr tamang is earning money as well as helping nepalese students, at least they dont need to sleep under the sky or in train stations. Believe it or not even your closes frnd in Nepal can hardly accomodate you here for one week free of cost or can provide u accomodation.
dont betray others, just gather as much as information as u can and then only make comments
thanx

Ìn my view, it is not wise to heap all the blame at the feat of Hem Tamang. Tamang is just a cog in a big machinery that is either both exploitative and disinterested in producing fruitful results to solve the problems faced by many international students in Australia, United States and Canada.
Hem Tamang issue is an issue of hidden market economy. It is market economy because there is a demand for cheap accommodation and he supplies it. But, it is a hidden market economy because congested accommodation is a violation of municipal bylaws in most cities in the U.S., Canada and Australia.
Tamang is to be blamed for violating such municipal housing bylaws. No doubt about it.
However, I think some of the blame goes to those students who rent such squalid, crowded apartments.
But, throwing blames around is not going to produce any solution and does not detect the cause of this problem.
I will identify two causes of this problem:
1. Host government`s education and employment policy.
2. Desire of Nepali parents to send their sons and daughters to “phoren“ for college education.
To explain the first cause, I will give you an example from the U.S. In the U.S., the government put hurdles on international students to work during summer when they don`t have to go to classes. During summer, even those students who are receiving scholarship from their colleges will have to support themselves. How are they going to support themselves if they can`t work. Most Nepali families living in Nepal can`t provide financial support to their sons or daughters living in the U.S. So, the students have no choice but to work illegally. There are popular destinations for summer work for Nepali students, such as New York City, Ocean City (Maryland), Los Angeles, Denver (Colorado), just to name a few. During three months of summer, students in groups of 12-16 (or sometimes more) rent one apartment with 3-4 bedrooms and one living room. This is against housing bylaws. Yet, renters rent it, landlords let it. Yes, the landlords violate bylaws, but they are letting those apartments because there is a demand from summer students. If there are no such cheap apartments, what are those students supposed to do to support themselves during summer when they have no or not enough money.
The second cause of the problem is even more insidious. Increasingly, Nepali parents in Nepal are eager to send off their sons and daughters to foreign colleges. And there is a reason for that, too. Maybe it is the country`s fluid political situation and violence with street protests and political rallies even for `sneezing`. Anyway, before I digress from the main point, let me just say this. Are parents not contributing to this problem. Are they not to blame, too.

The competitive market policy cant be an excuse for Mr. Hembahadur Tamang.
The buyers and sellers both are responsible for what they buy and sell. But the seller, being the source is always treated as more responsible.
Businessmen being rich citizens must be more responsible towards the welfare of the society and the environment in which the themselves exist.
The European union has started believing that money and human welfare are both inter-related and NO business should aim for the development of just a single person or family.

I don’t think Mr. tamang is doing really worse immoral thing here. Students want to save money and Mr. tamang wants to make money by provinding them housing.
Just a foot note. Nepaliese studends in Ocean City MD USA live like that during the summer too….15-25 students in small apatment.

Mr Kailash love,
I am amazed by your views..they are truly idiotic. I know (from what you said) that you have been managing two of these acco. and also realize the number of students coming to sydney each year is pretty high but that is no excuse for putting huge number of people in small rooms and violating health and saftey codes. It says there were no fire alarms installed. Do you realize how important it is to have fire alarms in facilities where you have so many people?? Also mentioned in the article is that people were queing at public restrooms near the acco. Do u have any idea how unethical and immoral it is charge people service money and not being able to provide them adequate restrooms?? I am also pretty sure that even restrooms weren’t probably clean and may be even sanitary conditions there weren’t up to the mark.
Now, I am a housing business owner myself in USA. I own condos, a motel and one apartment complex and I can tell you that from what i read in the newspaper, the whole scenario at that acco. is disgusting.
Hope you are maintaining better conditions at place that u manage.
Thanks
Sandesh Bhatt

Every body is cheating one another. Now the point is Nepali perhaps can not betray/cheat the Kuire in Australia,I guess. He can not cheat indian/other nationals who are already KHATARA in this area. Now only people that can be cheated are the new comers from nepal(who has not any idea at all).
If the guy cheated,i do not see any big deal here.Every stronger/powerful is cheating the weaker one.I myself is cheated by some CHOR Fataha (so called NEPALI graduate student ).So I suggest any nepali new comers do not rely on other Neplese living abroad for the help. They will sooner or later exploit in one way or other.Nepali abroad are really bad.

Landlord crams 48 students into one house
By Mark Dunn and Natalie Tkaczuk Sikora
May 17, 2008 01:54am
Article from: Herald Sun
Font size: + -
Send this article: Print Email
* Council investigates crowded houses
* Finds beds for 48 people in one property
* But Nepalese students defend landlord
A MILLIONAIRE landlord has been stacking up to 48 Nepalese students in a single house in northern Melbourne and dozens in two other rundown properties, say council investigators.
Hem Tamang, 36, lives in a modern double-storey Coburg property and runs a city restaurant – but makes big money by filling three suburban homes with dozens of students in each.
One six-room house in Loch St, Coburg, had beds for 48 people when council officers raided it last week and slapped an unsafe premises notice on the property.
“One house is believed to have had up to 48 occupants and another had 28 people sharing appalling and squalid conditions,” Moreland Council chief executive Peter Brown said.
Another of Mr Tamang’s houses, in Fowler St, had up to 28 students packed in and living in what was described as third-world conditions.
It has four bedrooms and a study, and two bungalow rooms in the back yard.
“We understand 18 people lived in backyard sheds and one building has barred and locked windows,” Mr Brown said.
A third property was located at Lorensen Ave, North Coburg. Council inspectors believed there were 17 students living at the three-bedroom house.
Mr Brown said subsequent investigations had found as many as 100 students from Nepal might be living at the three properties Mr Tamang owned and a fourth house linked to an associate.
“This is at the very least exploitation of vulnerable young foreign students,” Mr Brown said.
“Students were believed to be handing over $250 a month each to live in circumstances where their health was seriously at risk.
“We were also told another wave of students is expected to arrive in July.”
The Herald Sun visited the homes following the council raids and found filthy conditions, numbered dormitory-style rooms and mattresses stacked ceiling-high.
One room was filled with dismantled bunk beds after government inspectors forced Mr Tamang to reduce tenant numbers in each house to five.
Moreland Council became aware of the unregistered rooming houses when locals reported seeing large numbers of foreign students using a nearby park facility as a toilet and to clean themselves.
Mr Tamang yesterday denied having 48 students in one house, claiming the most he ever had at one property was 22 students.
He said he was offering Nepalese students cheap accommodation out of the kindness of his heart and making $7500 a month rent, not up to $25,000 as council investigators claimed.
He said a total of 48 students lived in his three homes – but only 30 were charged $250 a month each for accommodation, gas, electricity and water, and others stayed rent-free.
“My idea is that there is maximum each house 10 people,” he told the Herald Sun from his Flinders St restaurant, Ghurka’s Express.
“But some don’t have jobs and nowhere to live. I don’t want them to go on streets because I’m also Nepalese so I let them stay.”
Students yesterday rallied around him, saying that without him many Nepalese students would be lost.
Rajendva KC, 27, who is studying film, said he had lived at one of the houses for seven months and even though it was crowded at times, it was what they were used to in Nepal.
Mr KC said Mr Tamang was not exploiting students at all.
“He’s a social worker for the Nepalese and is highly regarded,” he said.
“The reality is he is surely helping the students. It’s not easy to find housing and he takes everyone in.”
Student Dev Ghimire, 21, said he was looking for new accommodation because he was tired of the noise and people arriving at all hours.
But he said the most he ever saw at the Loch St address was 15 people, and the six-room house was rented for $500 cash a week.
But he acknowledged he was there only briefly, working night shift from 11.30pm to 7am and attending a computer course from 8am-5pm.
“There were 10 people here but sometimes there were more, friends of the guys would come around,” Mr Ghimire said.
He said he knew Mr Tamang and he described him as “cool”.

It’s meaningless to discuss. It’s not Hem B. Tamang’s fault. This is the fault of greedy students, who rather want to save/earn money by living in the hell crowded.

hey mate,
all is fair in this world, this is not the world of communism, its the world of capitalism, individualism, and moneyism. i know i am talking rubbish, but to face the real world there is no way of takling all these theoritical dillema, about nepali should help another nepalese in foreign country atleast. i totally agree with this so called a religious and a theroy of humanity.
But its real world, what about australia and denmark, in each and every corner of the world we nepalese where ever we go, we donot want to face the real challenge of that world and start to compromise from the very beginning step, we seek for the other nepalese who are staying there. Unfortunately, they are trapped in the hands of those nepalese who have stayed in the foreign just to earn money in any means.
So, what actually i want to say here is let us we nepalese people start getting bold and not to seek and take those kind of help that is not of a good type. The best way to get rid of these problems is to be socialize with the foreign community and get the proper information instead of going form nepal and again trying to get into another small nepalese community. I am sure the guys of australia donot have to pay more than 300 aus.$ monthly for a student hostel.

hey everyone…
I know very well about it….since I have been looking after 2 shared acco(as a manager). Nd I m here since last 11 months.see do u know mow many nepalese student come to sydney each month??do u know how much the rent costs per week…I mean generally???do u know what is bond????and how much is it?????do u know how hard is it to rent a flat or house??????just it is enough to say to make u utd.that it is impossible to rent anything in the beggining…so they should and have to stay in these acco.and the cost rent…it is to be taken per head and the rate is flat always…..and it is the can do nothing cause he cant say anyone to move away and the population definately increases…not by bringing other stds. but because of their new friends from nepal…neither the population would be limited..got it?

these are all common in an abroad for accommodation, no need to protest/complain within the Nepaliese. Better to be save ourself and search nice flat or house if he/she are able to pay. Main problems is students can’t afford expensive flat/house in UK,CANADA,USA Ustr.as well as developed country,Because they are not allowed to work as a full time and how to afford to pay as a part time work? Tamang is absolutely right to do some how little business.no pain no gain. take care your self guys. cheers

Why students staying themselves crowded accommodation?
Are they looking comfortable accommodation by themselves?
Why they bringing their friends there?
Are they able to pay full rent? If able to pay rent why staying there? It is easy to blame other people but they forget to look themselves to settle in the beginning how is hard. This is unique characteristic of Nepali saying and doing everywhere inside and outside country.

Mr. Sky Australia,
Per the article published in the newspaper, it seems some of the pulbic rules have been voilated by the owner. However, there was no any issues regarding immigration. I think you have problem with Mr. Tamang who is earning money by helping Nepalese Students. Of course, MAHA KATNE MANCHHELE HAAT CHATCHHA, KAHILI KAHI MAHURILE PANI TOKCHHA.
If you bring the statement of a Nepali is exploiting another Nepali, what do you say about the bearucrates of Nepal exploiting all the general public ? WHY DON’T YOU WRITE AN ARTICLE ABOUT IT ?
