अपडेट राति (८३०): सात दलको बैठक आज पनि निश्कर्षविहीन भएपछि वर्तमान सरकारलाई दबाब दिन माअोवादीका मन्त्रीहरुले अौपचारिक रुपमा सामूहिक राजीनामा दिएका छन्। एमालेका मन्त्रीहरुले पनि संविधान सभाको निर्वाचनपछि नै राजीनामा दिइसकेका छन् तर उनीहरुको राजीनामा स्वीकृत भइसकेको छैन।

एमाले र माअोवादीबीच आज राष्ट्रपति एमालेलाई र प्रधानमन्त्री माअोवादीलाई अनि संविधान सभा अध्यक्ष काँग्रेसलाई बाँड्ने गरी सहमति भएको छ। यसअनुसार अब राष्ट्रपति एमालेको हुने लगभग निश्चित भएको छ। एमालेले राष्ट्रपतिमा माधवकुमार नेपालको नाम अगाडि सारेको छ। एमालेका पूर्व महासचिव माधवकुमार नेपाल भावी राष्ट्रपतिका लागि समर्थन जुटाउन राजनीतिक भेटघाटसमेत सुरु गरिसकेका छन्। आज उनले काँग्रेसका नेता शेरबहादुर देउवालाई भेटेका थिए। यसअघि, मनोनीत २६ जनामा बसिदिन सात दलले आग्रह गर्दा पनि जनादेश नभएको भन्दै नेपालले अस्वीकार गरेका थिए। अकस्मातसँग राष्ट्रपतिमा एमाले र आफ्नो नाम आएपछि नेपालले त्यसलाई अस्वीकार गरेका छैनन्। यद्यपि, माअोवादीले एमालेकी सहाना प्रधानलाई राष्ट्रपति बनाउनु पर्ने बताइरहेको छ। तर, एमालेलाई राष्ट्रपति दिने भने पछि एमालेले भनेकै व्यक्ति हुने भएकोले अब केही परिवर्तन नभए गणतन्त्र नेपालका प्रथम राष्ट्रपति माधवकुमार नेपाल नै हुने जस्तो देखिएको छ।
यसअघि माअोवादीले काँग्रेस र एमाले दुवैलाई राष्ट्रपति पद नदिने निर्णय गरेको थियो। अनि चर्चामा आएको थियो रामराजाप्रसाद सिंह र महन्थ ठाकुरसम्मका नाम। तर बार्गेनिङको क्रममा माअोवादीले काँग्रेसलाई कुनै पनि हालतमा राष्ट्रपति नदिने बरु एमालेलाई दिने रणनीति बनाएपछि काँग्रेसलाई एकातिर पारेर माअोवादी र एमालेको गठबन्धन देखिएको हो।
माअोवादी र एमालेबीच भएको यो सहमतिलाई काँग्रेससहितको तीन दलको बैठकमा प्रस्तुत गरिएको छ। तीन दलको बैठक साँझसम्म बालुवाटारमा बसिरहेको छ। तीन दलको सहमतिपछि यसलाई सात दलको बैठकमा राखिनेछ। सात दलले त्यसलाई अनुमोदन गरेपछि संविधान सभामा प्रतिनिधित्व गरिने २५ दलको बैठकमा राखिनेछ।
त्यसपछि पहिला संविधान सभामा बाँकी रहेको २६ जना मनोनीत सदस्य चयन गरिनेछ। हेर्नुस् है, राष्ट्रपति र उपराष्ट्रपति बन्न संविधान सभा सदस्य हुन जरुरी छ। चाहे चुनिएर आएका हुन्, चाहे समानुपातिकबाट वा मनोनीत। अस्ति नै २६ जना चुनिसकेका भए त माधवकुमार नेपाल राष्ट्रपति बन्ने संभावना नै नहुने रहेछ। वा रामराजाप्रसाद सिंह, सहाना प्रधान वा अरु कोही पनि। राष्ट्रपति बनाउनका लागि बार्गेनिङ गर्नका लागि पो यो २६ जनाको मनोनयन गर्न बाँकी राखिएको रहेछ।
अब आज राति अबेरसम्म बसेर भए पनि शक्ति बाँडफाँडमा सहमति हुने भनिएको छ। अहिलेसम्मको स्थितिमा निश्चित झैँ देखिएका गणतन्त्र नेपालका प्रथम राष्ट्रपति माधवकुमार नेपालका बारेमा तपाईँको विचार के छ ? अब तपाईँको पालो, आफ्नो विचार राख्नुस्।

If people have rejected Madhab Nepal even for the member of CA, how can he be qualified for president? I would like to urge the leaders not to hurt the heart of democracy. Nepal is not the country of only a handful of leaders but is that of 30 million Nepalis. So nothing should be done against the people’s mandate. Leaders should be the servants of people but not their bosses. Hence they should follow whatever people allow them to do, but nothing else, nothing else!!

Mr. Madhav Nepal is the best candidate to be the 1st president of Nepal. How can u judge a person by one loss? The situation under which there was election is seriously questionable, no matter what those “so called” international committees say. He instead had the guts to quit as a party leader on the face of defeat. What did Girija do? Nothing… laj pachayera ahile pani party ko pramukh ra desh ko PM banera baseka chan…. Congress ruled Nepal for so long. Koirala khandhan ko unnati bho ra desh ko durgati .Girija has been implicated in so many scandals his whole life. He was even ready to make his scandalous daughter, the prime minister of Nepal… ha ha…. What could be more horrible? Does anyone seem to realize that? Even people like Krishna Prasad,”the Kishunji”, who had lost so many elections, or drunkards like Sher Bahadur without any special capability have become PM of Nepal in the past. Do you call these people “janta le chuneka PM”? Banduk ka bhar ma aayera, banduk kai bharma chunab jiteka Maobadi jantale chuneko hun ta? What has so called “Janta le chuneka” Girija did for this country? If you call these people “janta le chuneka” then its much much better to have, (so called, according to some of u)”janta le napatyaka“ Madhav Nepal as the first president of our country.
Madhav Nepal has always been honest, dedicated his whole life for his country and never ever been involved in a scandal. Ani aru neta haru jasto “pad” ko lagi kahile nagireka manche hun. Yes, he might have done some minor mistakes in life but not at the expense of his country. No, Makune cannot be the first president of Nepal under any circumstances. No way. He is not only the looser, he ruins his party being a dictator “Mahasachib” for nearly 15 years. So nominating his name by his party fello members is a big shame.Nepali Janata are against him. He is the same old fellow literally no different from Girija.
Subash Nemwang is much much better than Makune. otherwise there is no difference between Girija and Makune.Makune is one of the corrupted politician in Nepal(not like Girija but in many respect he is responsible too).He cant lead the country.

Corrupters and criminals like Khumbahadur, Govindaraj Joshi, and several others are his fellow ministers and his “chumchas” and these peoples are freely living and moving around the country.
If maoists or whoever comes into power their first job is to put these corrupted people into justice.These people should be disgraced, condemned and kicked out of the country forfeiting all their properties.If they can do so, then it will be a great honour and respect for the ordinary nepalese peoples and the country itself.
So dear friends, no Girija, no Makune . These people have no right to lead the country.If they do, then its a big big big misfortune for our country.They canot simply turn our country into “Naya Nepal”.

GIRIJA IS THE MOST SUITABLE PEROSN
Don’t take the currently political situation so sightly, it is passing through a complex process. Hoe hard he tried to make the Maoist to make the biggest party….. They has blamed that congress and UML won this musch of seats because of them and their stand on propotional representation., but they have got the highet no.. of seats through first come first basis.
Even just before the date of CA election (second announcement) they left the gov.. and made the peace process more complecated.. that lead to consequance ot Taral Aandolan..
In all situation Girija played well and made the election possible.
He did his best .. why not country should award him by this post. As already been said this post is ceremonial. So why Prachanda Mr. Commred is afraid of him .. I don’t know.
If Congress remains out of gov.. than it will be difficult to Maoist to lead the Government and step for further economic objectives.

Why Sahana Pradhan and why not Madhav Kumar Nepal?
Who else is there in Nepal to compete with MK Nepal in some aspects of politics? He is a diplomatic, centrist and approacheable leader.
But in my personal thought, he should not be the president. Let UML win in the next election and him be the president then. It’s not good for him to be the president now while the government is being run by the blood stained party.
Please please please UML, don’t go for the presidency. Please let Subash Newang be the Chairman of CA and please stay out of the government. You don’t have mandate now to be in the government. This is the voice of one of your stauch supporters. Pleae listen to us.

I think Madhab Nepal is one of the best candidates. If Others have to get honour for their deeds to the country, Why not him? He also has played a dominant role for bringing the country up to this stage.He also has far less greed for power than Girija.
Girija really has “Satta Lipsa”. His eyes never see any other leaders within his party, other parties and outside political scene as suitable. He always wants the top job until he dies.

It’s all Rubbish things,which Nepali people is going to suffer day by day. Till now none of the Party’s has been able to decide or make a decission to form a govrnment. King has already left the palace, and till now there is no one to act as a Country head. Why these leaders are playing with Nepli People life. do they ever thought wht’s going right now in the Country? No Law and order has been established, still some groups are killing innocent people. Looters are looting, and these leaders doesn’t seems to be caring. Only after Power dying to get it. Foreign country must have been Laughing at Nepal and Nepal Leaders. We have seen and saw already through their leadership. none of the party were able to create any history or satisfied Nepali people during their ruling(N.C.and UML) instead each of this party looted Nepali people money and kept in their pocket or for the Party. How can we expect any changes will come from this Party leaders?
I know These Maoist are terrorist and shouldn’t be given them to Power but since Nepali People have given the mandate to maoist why is all this game going on? why not give them a chance to rule? lets see how they will handle the situation in Nepal. who knows there might be new change or atleast hope they can create LAW AND ORDER In Nepal. It’s a most needed to have LAW AND ORDER IN NEPAL RIGHT NOW. Beacuse Right now it’s being laike a paly ground any body can do any things as anybody wants. We really are out of track.
Girija is the worst person in our Country. He think he made a history, yeh, he made but not as a good but as a worst. He is the one to tell the truth this situation was create because of him. Maoist was born not because of king, it’s Girija,who held a MADYHABDI CHUNAB and from there every thing went wrong. When he is in Power Democracy ic safe But once he is not in Power than Democracy is in danger. I feel laughing those who followed with him blindly never thoght of wright or wrong. Now he is almost 85 years still hungry for power.
To tell the truth King is much more better than him atleast he gave away his 240 years his fore father power to Govm. Hardly anyone could have done this because it’s alredy shown by this hunger leader.
King could have made more disaster in Nepal but he didi’t do. as these leaders is doing but King accept the mandate that people has wanted.
It doesn’t mean that I ma favoring King but I just want to indicate to these leaders what is scrifice means.
We Nepali People need to be more educted Please don’t follow these leaders. we People make Leaders Not Leaders Make People.If we want (NEPALI PEOPLE) we can create history not leaders.
We are very sad we don’t have any leaders who cares for the Country and Country People> every one is after Power and money even Maoists followed the same path. so sad. But whatever it is we need to give one chance to Mapists to form a single Government and watch what change they can make to our Country.
Power sharing is not good for our Country because we have alredy gone through this situation so please don’t repeat the same and make a big mistake.

Madhav Kumar Nepal is from Rautahat Gaur so am I, his father taught Nepali in Shree Juddha Sec Gaur and so does my father. There are many similarities between him and me even then I will say it is quite unfortunate for us to see him as the first president of Nepal, politically he is incapabale else he could have won the CA from at least one constituency, now coming to the point that can he stand against autocratic and indisciplined Maoists?? Then the answer is a big “NO”. I have never seen a concerete decision making ability in him and if Iam to chose between two spoilt potatoes like Madhav and Girija, I would definitely go with Girija.

It is completely a stupid process of selecting President, ha ha, I just like to laugh, what about people’s sake, people’s interest. there are 30 million people but some 5 or 10 people are deciding the presidency, Makune don’t seem presidential to me. In election time he was arguing in Khulamanch, because of NC, Maoist won the most seats, now what he is thinking, this is good ha ha, congress brought maoist in power, I lost the election, even I’m becoming first President of Nepal, wow, what’s my luck, the thing is really happening for me, Jhala Nath le pani nun kai sojho garyo malai, natra maile napaune, now I went to get support from Deuba, an NC leader, wow this man is tendho, I tried to isolate Girija, but Shere is very tough, eventhough Girija kicked him so many times still he wants Girija to be President, was boring to head that far from koteswor to budhanilkantha, Makune this is called politics, now you don’t seem presidential because you turned down to become manonit member, now you accept it to become Presiden?? don’t seem right. If you think and love for Country, Pass it ti Girija, then you looks presidential, Please set the tone for next election, you can come back to mainstream politics if you hav guts, you don’t have to be a ceremonial President? My advice is try to be a great leader in your 80′s, strong one as Girija, in front of him, you can’t turn around a small stone, be like that in the future and now, pass this President and counter these Maoists who came to power by false and criminal deeds.

I am very happy with the way MAO handled and showed their responsibilities. I am impressed with Prachanda too. He was already decleared as president but he compromised this post to find a conclusion is such a vulnerable situation. Good Goaing MAOBADIS.

He even did not hesitate to submit himself to be a royal minester. You wont know when he will resign. His middleman attitude would always bring in pain in the ass of Prachanda. Because Makune would in one hand support Prachanda and in other hand push Yemale to launch anti government campaign to throw away the government. This guy is very dengerous.

MAKUNE is better for Present new nepal if Ram raj prasad singh is fail to hold that position.

02.MAKUNE is very simple guy becoz he always search co-operation and fair solution in complex nepalese politic.

Makune shouldn`t be the President of Nepal in this moment, because we can say he is totally blind in the political field ,he never realised even he has done lots of vulneable things for the poor and kind Nepali people,which is still in our memory.Some of misdeeds for which he very knowingly helped and witnessed for the pass of unfair Mahakali Treaty in the then parliament,new citizenship act( in long run very very danger for our nation )and Pajero Culture.He is one of the raw leaders with lack of farsight and concrete vision for the welfare of the people and development of the counrty.If he become the Ppresident of Nepal I would say poor Nepal and Nepalese people have to suffer a lots again and our country will be more worse definately, there is no doubt.So I would like to suggest the persons who have got the right to nominate please think 100 times before nominating him.I want to add moore if he wants to be a leader of Nepali Janta he must attend a disciplinery course, he must be loyal for the country and Nepalese people.

-Makune was defeated from both the constituencies where he was CA member candidate.
-UML was in third position in election result (mathematically).
2.This is not a politics of consensus
-Those who cried for politics of consensus have sidelined congress. Consesnus was not meant for the politics of majority. Being the first largest party Maoist got the first leadership choice of Prime Minister, Congress should have been given the second choice.
3. Disrespect to a person who brought the peace deal to success
-Accept it or not, Girija was the only leader who consistently stood for the reinstatement of the parliament, which was the main ladder through which the peace deal came to success. He should have been given the post of president.
-Girija has been a Use and throw piece of Maoist.
4. Political Imbalance
-Any person other than Girija is a rubberstamp of maoist. They dont have the guts to fight maoist extremities.

6. Fall of UML- UMLs are now trapped in maoist fist. Belive it – here starts the real downfall of UMLs.

Madhav Nepal was rejected by people at two constituencies. It will be the insult to people’s mandate and sentiment if he becomes the first president of Nepal. As most of the commentator stated that “Madhav Nepal is better than Girija”. I strongly support other views and welcome madhav nepal as a first president of Nepal. One question came on my mind “how long”? we will only know it when right time comes.
Now its time to focus uprooting corruption and fertilizing for development of Nepal.

MK Nepal is a good man and a good leader, but during this transition GP Koirala should get a chance. He is the one who carefully led this transition to this end. Without his bold support we would not have seen such a peaceful transition. I know Giriza has done somany misdeeds in the past, but we have to look what he did after 12 point agreement, he cautiously led this transition to success. So my vote is still for Giriza not MK Nepal

I still think the president should be above all the parties at this time of the political process in the country. MNepal is most probably much better than Sher or Girija, but he is another greedy one in the bunch.

Both are not fit for president better chose some one else then Madhab or Girija….like Sabhamukh SUBASH CHANDRA NEMBANG etc. many more capabele candidates are there in our Nepal.

Best decision ! He is the perfect one to be the first president on Nepal . He has done a lot on peace process .

He is a pendulum guy. He has no any ability to be a president of Nepal. Either Ram Raja Singh of Sahana Pradhan will be the best option. It is a big bargaining of UML. UMLka corrupted gangs are again happy. There is no future of UML.

Madhav Nepal to be the first president of Nepal is bad for all Nepalese because:
1. People’s didn’t want him even as a CA member
2. He has not done so rediculous contribution in
the history
3. He put down coin to the king with the interst
of becoming PM
4. He has not so clear vision like Abdul kalam
of india
5. This is very important from historic point of view
to become the first president of Nepal. So we
Nepali shouldn’t appoint him for this post.
Since CPN(maoist) are the only who raise this post in the election,they have the first right to become the president. Although, this is the critical situation. and thus Ramraja Prasad Singh is the most suitable. If not so,another alternative is Sahana Pradhan also.It is too bad to nominate Madhav Nepal as president. It’s the signal of bad message in the world for Nepal.

what is wrong with respecting girija sahana or ram raja for a ceremonial post?
yo maobadi ko patan ko suruwat ho.
Impunity prevails and will prevail for ever in Nepal.
