Hi all
We all Nepalese as well as all other international students from Lamar University Texas are also transferred to Sam Houston State University at Texas.So we all Nepalese are safe.Monday night or tuesday morning is the predicted time to hit by Gustav at BeAUMONT Texas but it is beeing weak.Let,s hove it will damage less but be sure there will not be any fatality because of evacuation.So don’t worry about it.We all are safe.

Students from University of Louisiana at Lafayette (ULL) are planning to head up North towards Alexandria. I hope the storm degrades. New Orleans, though empty, will mostly definitely be flooded again.

Lamar University students who signed up for transportation to shelter should report to Cardinal Village Phase I at 5pm tonight, Saturday Aug. 30. Bring personal identification, bed roll, and a pillow. Students who signed up for evacuation should report to Cardinal Village Phase I at 5pm, Saturday Aug. 30, with appropiate belongings.

The students from Lake Charles (Mcneese State University) are moving to Dallas, Tx; Ruston, LA; Cleveland, TN and Houston, Tx. More than 50 Students from here are evacuated by their own. University did not help any international students for the evacuating process.
