खडेरीले काठमाडौँलाई एकदमै सताएको थियो। राजनीतिमा दिल्लीले सताए जस्तै राजधानीको आकाशमा राजस्थानको मरुभूमिबाट आएको धुलोले पनि सताएको सतायै थियो। कति वनजंगलमा डढेलो लागेको छ। तुँवालोले विमानै उड्न नसक्ने स्थितिसम्म आइसकेको थियो। आकाशबाट पानी नबर्सिएकोले कुलेखानीमा पानीको सतह कम भएर विद्युत उत्पादन हुन सकेको छैन। पानीमात्रै राम्रोसित पर्ने हो भने लोडसेडिङ केही कम हुनसक्थ्यो। धाराबाट पानी नआएर दुःख भइरहेकाहरुलाई आकाशे पानीले केही भए पनि राहत दिनसक्थ्यो। तर…पानी परेकै हैन। बल्लबल्ल बुधबार पहिलो पटक सिमसिम पानी पर्यो। त्यसपछि फेरि आज शुक्रबार साँझ र राति केही समय पानी पर्यो। तर दर्केर पानी नपरेकोले काठमाडौँवासी अझै भन्न बाध्य छन्- यतिले पुगेन अझ थपिदेऊ।

सँधै जाडो याममा पानी पर्थ्यो, उपत्यका छेउछाउका डाँडाहरुमा हिउँ पर्थ्यो। तर यसपालि हिउँ त के, पानीसमेत परिदिएन। शुक्रबार पनि मेघ गर्जन मात्र बढी भयो, दर्केर पानी भने पर्न सकेन।
बुधबार त घर फर्कँदै गर्दा पानी परेको हुनाले केही समय मज्जाले भिज्न पनि पाइएको थियो। मान्छेहरु खुसी देखिन्थे निकै समयपछि पानी परेको देखेर।
बुधबार पानी परेकोले होला, आज केहीले सतर्कताका साथ छाता पनि बोकेका थिए।
छाताको बिक्री पनि बढ्यो आजको पानीले।

Population are growing, then pollution are growing, production are growing, local climate and biology are changing and rain / wind pattern are changing. So we must work together to minimize the global warming. We must blame rich industrial country such as USA, Canada and Some EU. They are doing something but is it nothing campare to what they have done to the earth. We must promote renewal energy. Hydropwer, Solar, Wind, Ocean Wind, Under Ocean current, Ocean wave energy, Bio fuel, etc energy are safe for us. I am proud when CNN said KTM is the capital of electrical public transportation of the world. Our electrical SAFA tempos are great, we need to encourage them.
Lets save our world by reducing population growth. I like China’s view “One Parent One Child”. But these rich countries are never think about having family planning to control the future’s population. Some religion such as old fashion Christians and Muslim do not understand the fact of using Condom and other family planning tools, we must educate them. We Hindu are lucky, we can use any tools, even our Gods would use these tools if they were available at that time.
Who knows, Ganesh, youngest son of Shiva-Parbati may not be here today, if they used these tools after Kumar (youngest son) was born.
So, I think the growing population will be the biggest threat and problems for our kids and grand kids so need to think about it as early as possible. Let’s do our part.

thanx god for i heard it rained in kathmandu last wednesday and friday otherwise the environmental situation in the valley particularly would go worse as per what i have read in other weather related sites.And since the environmentalists have predicted that the rain bearing wind wud now start blowing from BoB, i think with in a few days, the valley folks would witness downpours that would eventually sweep away the dust, dirt and the dense fog in the sky of Kathmandu. I heard that the wedding of Frogs performed in the valley last week also played a significant role in bringing rain!!!hahahahahha!!!!! sometimes, our religious beliefs also works buddy!!!!

people have to understand one thing, there is no such a thing like GLOBAL WARMING, all the planents and sun has thier own axis which is called a path , basicaly earth is not going through its axis, it just changing its lane near to sun that makes earth more hotter.
According to Bible, BHAGWAT MAHAPURAN, to end of the day, there would be 12 sun in the sky, that means earth will totally near to sun which will make us to feel 12 sun in the sky.

Global Warming is caused when there is more Co2 in the air and our OZone becomes thinner which makes the earth surface more warmer. it is caused due to deforestration,and any other man made industries tht produce more co2. even when u turn on the light in ur room tht also contributes to the global warming. so stop being stupid ignorant and do some research before commenting.

well asha jee, i’m not expert but i want to share my knowledge with u abt this.
some of the impacts are climate change which we are observing now. Rising sea levels, glacier retreat, Arctic shrinkage, and altered patterns of agriculture. Those were the direct impacts to human.
Besides that we would expect extreme weather events, tropical diseases, changes in the timing of seasonal patterns in ecosystems.
