प्रधानमन्त्री माधवकुमार नेपालले शपथ लिएको एक हप्ता मै राजधानीमा बन्द हुने भएको छ। आउँदो जेठ १८ गते उपत्यका बन्द गर्नका लागि अहिले प्रचार प्रसार तीव्र पारिएको छ। बन्द कुनै राजनीतिक पार्टीले गर्न लागेको नभई उपत्यकाका नेवार समुदायले गर्न लागेका हुन्। नेवाः स्वायत्त राज्य मंकाः संर्घष समितिको आह्वानमा बन्द हुन लागेको हो। यो समितिमा कांग्रेस, एमाले, माओवादी आदि सबै पार्टीका प्रतिनिधिहरु समावेश छन्। सर्वोच्च अदालतले स्थानीय निकायमा स्थानीय भाषा प्रयोग गर्न पाउँदैन भनी फैसला गरेको दिन जेठ १८ लाई उनीहरु वर्षेनी कालो दिवसका रुपमा मनाउने गर्थे। यस वर्ष भने नेवाः स्वायत्त राज्य नेपालमण्डल घोषणा र काठमाडौं उपत्यका शहरी विकास विधेयकको खारेजीको माग गर्दै बन्द गर्न लागिएको हो।
नेवाः स्वायत्त राज्य मंकाः संर्घष समितिको एक घटक नेवाः जागरण मञ्चले जेठ १८ गते काठमाडौं उपत्यका शहरीकरण विधेयक जलाएर आन्दोलन शुरू गर्ने बताएको छ। बन्दको प्रचारका लागि शनिबार अपराह्न ३ बजे बसन्तपुरबाट जुलुस पनि निकालिँदैछ।
राजधानीलाई केन्द्र शासित राजधानी प्रदेश बनाउने षड्यन्त्र भएको आरोप आन्दोलनकारीहरुको छ।

जोजो आआफ्ना चौघेराभित्र पोलिसीका नाममा अरुलाई वञ्चित गर्ने धन्दा चलाउदै छन्, यी अघोरीहरु हाम्रो वुझाईमा महापण्डितहरु हुन् । जवकि विचार, दृष्टिकोण, वहस, अनुरोधले यो वर्गलाई छुदैंन, जव नैतिकता, विनम्रता, मानवतावादी कार्यले यिनको दिमाग हल्लाउँदैन भने अवको विकल्प हो-अवाञ्छित र अभद्र कृयाकलापकै बाटो । अन्तत्वगोत्वा राजनीतिक संगठनले गर्ने धर्म पनि यही नै रहेछ । किनकी वारम्वार कलमका सभ्य भाखाहरुलाई खिसी गरीरहने यी वर्गहरु कि वन्दुकदेखि डराउँदा रहेछन् कित मधेशको आगोदेखि तर्सिन्छन् यात थारुहरुको लाठीमुंङग्रीदेखि थर्कँदारहेछन् ।
राज्यभित्रका श्रोत-साधनहरु कब्जा गरेर आफ्ना दर-सन्तानका लागि साँच्ने अथवा विदेशमा लगेर खर्चिने र तिनैले वेकम्मा बनाएकाहरुले प्रतिरोध गर्दा वा असन्तुष्टी जाहेर गर्दा मानवअधिकार हनन भो भन्ने सुकिला कोट, विदेशी टाईवाला वाहुनवादीहरुलाई अव नयाँ संस्कृतिको पाठ्समेत सिकाउनै पर्नेभएको छ । त्यसैले सावधान वाहुनवादीमय एन्जीओ-आईन्जीओका ठेक्दारहरु हो ! आआफ्ना अखडामा बसेर सुंगुरले चारो खाएझैं खाने गुलामहरु हो ! हामी सवैलाई भन्दैनौ । तर जोजो त्यस्ता धन्दामा सपेंटा र पखेटा दारिरहेका छौं, जोजो कट्टु-पेन्टी किन्नकै लागि युरोप र अमेरिकासम्म पुगेर जातीय समानता र महिला मुक्तिका धन्दा चलाईरहेका छौं, अव, तिम्रै घुम्ने मेचबाट तिमीहरुलाई घिसारेर भ्यागुतो पछारेझैं पछार्ने दिन शुरु भएको छ । तिम्रै टेवुलका फ्लाट्-कम्प्युटर र ल्यापटप् टिपेर समावेशीकरण, गरीवि निवारण र जनअधिकारका कुरामात्र गर्ने तिम्रा थुतुनामा हान्नुपर्ने भईसकेको छ ।
वीसौं युवाहरुलाई वेरोगार बनाई एकजनाले सो वरावरको तलव-भत्ता हडप्दै विकासका नाममा जोजो उघ्राईरहका छौं, मुखबाट ओकलिने गरी तिम्रा थलथले पींधमा हामीले भकुण्डो हान्नुपर्ने आवश्यकता भईसकेको छ । देशी-विदेशीलाई हाम्रो दारुणता, गरीवी, उत्पीडन, जातीयता वेचेर मुलुकमा अशान्ति, हिंसा, भोकमरी, संकट र सामन्तवाद लाद्ने र वाहुनवादलाई यथास्थितीमा राख्ने तिमीहरुका तिघ्रामा फल्मेटा भाटाहरुले हान्नैपर्ने भएको छ । तिम्रै अखडामा छिरी तिमीहरुले भाषण गर्दै गरेका माईक समाएर तिम्रा मुखमा कोच्याउन अव हामी वाध्य छौं । किनकी अचेत मानिसलाई चेतना दिन सकिन्छ, तर अति सचेतलाई चेतना दिने योभन्दा अर्को विकल्प हुन्नरहेछ । जवकी, तिमीहरुले नै सवै देखेका, पढेका, जानेका रहेछौं तर ब्यावहारमा भने परिवर्तन भएनौ । वरु नेपाल र नेपालीका अवस्था, दासता, संस्कार र संस्कृतिका कटौरा थापेर आआफ्ना धन्दा चलाउँदैछौ र यसका लागि राज्य पनि मौन रहन्छ अथवा सरकारहरुलाई नै प्रभाव पारीरहेका छौं भने तिमीहरुका मस्तिकमा जागरण ल्याउने अन्तिम उपाय नै यही हो ।

No matter what you think ? But There will not be peace in Nepal without several federal states in Nepla inclusive Newar Autonomous State. We Newars are the center point of Nepal and Nepalse civilisation.I even support to creating Khasan Autonomous State because there will be less presure from bahun and khas people to other autonomous states. there will be less corruption and we can compete on development of our states. English should be the language of federal government and communication between the states. then there will be justice.

नमस्कार ! ! !
धर्म भाषा सन्स्क्रिती सबै को आफ्नो आमा समान प्यारो हुन्छ एक ले अरु को सम्मान गर्नु पर्छ तेस बाट मात्र राम्रो हुन्छ जस्तो लाग्छ। हाल नेपाल मा चली आएको यो विक्रिती ले उग्र रूप लिने निस्चित छ तेसैले सरकार ले छिटो भन्दा छिटो सम्पूर्ण जात जाती, धर्म , भाषा तथा सन्स्क्रिती लाई सम्मान जनाउन सक्ने बेवस्था गर्नु जरूरी छ। सरकारी कार्यालय मा सबै लाई हुने एउटा भाषा राखेर राज्य बेवस्था सन्चालन गरी अरु लाई इज्जत दिने भय अनेकता मा एकता झल्किन्थ्यो।
यस्तो प्रकार को आन्दोलन मा हिंड्ने साथी हरु लाई एक पटक Canada को Qubec City मा घुम्न जान अनुरोध गर्दछु। त्यो शहर Canada देश मा , शाशक Elizabeth II र भाषा चल्छ French.
अहिले नेपाल को आवश्यकता भनेको शान्ती सुरक्षा का साथै तोकियको समयमा संबिधान निर्माण गर्नु हो र संबिधान पालना गराउनु हो यस् कार्य का लागि जनता सजग हुनु जरूरी छ। नयाँ संबिधान लागु भय पछी कसैले पनि नियम कानून मिच्न नसकोस। पहिलो दिन देखी नै सार्वजनिक कारवाही गर्नु पर्छ कानून मिच्ने लाई र अरु ले हिम्मत गर्न नसकोस बे-इमानी गर्न।

All the events to establish whom they called self governed is worthless and that will never be. see how many newars are there in valley. The outside population already exceeded them. They want to be in nostalgic “malla period ” where every city have own king. but at present no any part of the country can be ruled based on caste.
If newa ask for self governed state i think they should loose to become the capital city. A capital city should equally treat all kind of people irrespective of their cast and location.

I think kathmandu haven’t enough space to hold out the people from over the Nepal. Goverment have to bring the proposal to develope the other city than kathmandu. Kahtmandu have alreday enough people. Only problem no water, everywhere waste, narrow road. I suggest to promot other city than kathmandu. In this view the forth comming protest is good and I like to support.

Let’s be very honest: this country is called Nepal which is the name of the country of the Newars. Why did King Prithvi Narayan Shah not name this country Gorkha?
Newars are not an ethnic community. They are a people. There is a caste division- Newars have brahmins, chhetris, sudras and baisyas. Then they have a class division- 6 thari, 5 thari, 4 thari, 3 thari, 2 thari and 1 thari. They have a written language, their own religion which is based on tantra and their own culture/rituals.
In actuality, NepalMandal is a country within a Nepal just like Karnali is a country within Nepal.
Most people on this blog don’t know about history of the Newars and the history of the Khas. They were great people, rivals and conquerors. In fact, they are related. The kings of the Newars and Khas are both Thakuris.
The Khas eventually declined because of poor economy, whereas the Newars persisted because they had a good economy.
We have to understand the history of the people who make up Nepal. It’s no longer good to call Newars “Choila Baji”
and Khas “Pakhe Parbate” because our identity is now Nepali.
Please understand that the Newar community is hurt by biased decisions from the previous governments. But all other communities are too. Apart from the ruling families and classes, most Nepalis have been deprived of everything. The solution is to give all communities their rights and privileges.

नेवार जाति नभएर समुदाय हो । यसको आफ्नो मौलिक संस्कृति भाषा संस्कार छ । यहाँ धेरै नेपालभाषा बोल्ने नेवार जातिहरु बसोबास गर्दछन् । यसलाई बचाउन पनि यहाँ नेवा स्वायत्त हुन जरुरी छ । यहाँका जनता आफ्नो भूमीको पनि बाहुन, क्षेत्री तल्सीं ले पेलेको मोही बन्नु परेको छ । ती तथाकथित तल्सीं ले यहाँका सोझो नेवार ज्यापू हरुलाई आफुले कर तिरिदिने भनेर आफ्नो नाममा जग्गा हातमा पारेको हुन सक्ने देखिन्छ । किनभने धरैजसो आदिवासी ज्यापूहरु नै मोही भएका छन् । त्यसैले तिनीहरुलाई वास्तविक जग्गाधनी बनाइदिन पनि नेवा स्वायत्त शासन हुन जरुरी छ । यसको लागि मागेर त्यो अधिकार पाउँदैन भन्ने कुरा थारुहरुको आन्दोलनबाट देखिसकेको छ । यसमा बाहुनवादी वाहेक सबै जातिहरु सहमत हुनेछ र जेठ १८ एक दिन सबैले बन्द गरेर बाहुनवादीहरुलाई क्षेप्यास्त्र हान्न म अनुरोध गर्दछु ।

actually for considering this Jestha 18 as the black day, Girija is responsible. under his direction his party member Mukunda Regmi had sued in the supream coart against the usages of local languages in the municipalities.
this girija who did not let use local languages is protecting sinful usages of Hindi language in oath taking in hindi by vice president. Girija had also made written commitments with madhises who are demanding for makinh Hindi as the second national language and seperate autonomous madhes in tarai.

आज कोशिका जनता को समस्या को कुरा गर्ने फुर्सद कसै लाइ छैन, सुस्ता को कुरा गर्ने फुर्सद कसै लाइ छैन, शांति स्थापना गर्ने र समय मै संबिधान कसरी बनाउने भन्ने मा कसैलाई वास्ता छैन / जनताले पानी पिउन पाउन की न पाउन, कर्णाली का जनता भोक्मरिले छट्पटाउन की, अन्याय मा परेकाले न्याय पाउन की नपाउन, त्यों संग कसैलाई सरोकार छैन / संसार का अरु ठाउँमा अब एउटा मात्र भाषा बनाउन भनेर लगी रहेका छन मानिश हरु, जसले गर्दा हरेक क्षेत्र काम गर्न सजिलो होस / तर हामी त जम्मा ३ करोड़ छौं, यती सानो देश छ र पनि हामी एक अर्काको भाषा बुझ्दैनौ , या भनु हामीलाई अरुको भाषा सुनेर बस्ने, बुझ्ने फुर्सद नै छैन, किन भने हामीलाई चक्का जाम गर्न जानु छ, हामीलाई टायर बालन जानु छ, घरका , सरकारी अफिश का सीसा फ़ुटाउन जानु छ, सरकारी गाडी जलाउनु छ, त्यसो गर्दा हामीलाई आनन्द आउछ, जबकि त्यों सरकारी गाडी, भवन हामीले तिरेको कर कै पैसा ले किनिएको हो भने पनि के मतलब / रेल्लिंग भाचियेर के भो र सरकार कै त हो नि, यस्तो सोच छ हाम्रो /
नेवार भाषा नजानेर राम्रो पद्मा नपुगेको रेकर्ड छ र ! यु यन मा काम गर्न तामांग, मैथिलि नै चाहिंछ र ! यूरोप मा काम गर्न थारु, गुरुंग भाषा चाहिन्छ र ! वा अरु कही काम गर्नु, घुम्नु परयो, प्रबिधि भित्र्याउनु परयो, बुझ्नु परयो भने राइ भाषा चाहिन्छ र!
यसैले मेरो बिचारमा हामी यस्ता कुरा हरुमा अल्झिनु भनेको अमुक राजनितिक पार्टीको दलीय स्वार्थ सिद्ध गर्न , स्थिरता नचाहने बिदेशी हरु को गोटी बन्ने काम हामीले गरी रहेका छौ / अंततः नोक्सानी हामीलाई नै हुन्छ, जती सुकै भारतलाई र अमेरिकलाई गाली गरे पनि /

“Chhoila, Aila khaeyra moj gara”:
This is the way to react pal. Madesis’, Kiraatees’, Newars’ etc… are raising thier voices for various reasons and everybody should think positively to resolve such issues in peace and harmony environment. There are always some people who always looks for ISSUES so that they could be in the POSITION. Nepal is not like USA which is not filled with “AADIBAASI”. Nepal has several Groups of people from several cultural backgrounds. Opposing their Identity; country can never go to the progressive path. Instead of supressing such demands or ideas, we should look for the environment where WE ALL NEPALESE can be set in PEACE and HARMONY environment.
I would appreciate if anybody can provide good suggestions to resolve the existing problem with respect to certain GROUPS like “LIMBUWAAN, MADHESI, NEWARS, KIRAATEES” etc…. Even I am also trying to find the ideas how I can be a good citizen by providing a position of NEUTRAL instead of being BIOSED to any groups.

you said why we did not write these comments in newari? dont you know why we cant? this jestha 18 is called as black day because some brimhins like you Mr. mukunda regmi had sued against the usage of Newari maithili and other languages in formal usages. so court also banned on the usage of newari and other language and your khas court banned in usages of local languages. that is why we did not write any in our languages.
further, could you write a name of even your part of body that has not been derived from hindi language? that present natioanl languages was named as nepali languages just couple of decades before. otherwise it is called khas language. is that untrue?
biswo raj jee just be friend of all ethenic communities. as you do love your khas language they also love their languages. Khas leaders had descriminated other languages. so they are dissatisfied. but they are pleased to speak your khas languages and never humilate and undermine khas language, but many khas do hate newari and other languages, as did by you.

you are absolutly right. but try to understand the hidden virtues of demanding such ethenical rights.you are well aware of those indians who have migrated to nepal under the previledge of 1950′s treaty with india have been demanding seperate autonomous madhes in whole tarai and making their hindi language as the second national language in Nepal; ignoring all other true ethenic languages of nepal’s own. these demands of newars limbus tharus and other would be the strong counter to the wrong demand of madhesi forums.
however, newars and other ethenic communities had enough grounds and reasons to display their dissatisfactions. see, under girijas direction their late party member mr mukunda regemi had sued in the supream court against the decisions of some municipalties to use local languages also. then supream court had banned on the usages of other languages in formal usages.what is that? when that girija did not protest but the protected the oath taking in hindi by vice presiden. girija even had said to the supream coart that usage of hindi in that big formal occassion does not concern supream court!!!! further he had when he was the priminister before prachandra even made agreement with madhesis with written commitments to make constitution as demanded by madhesis.Girija even did not consider what impact would be on other ethenic communities in tarai. just he loved hindi and hindustanies.
now Madhav nepal also made the same commitments following the girija’s.
so, you know and we too know that the demands of madhises slicing nepal in three oarts the bigest and most potential part of whole tarai to them and rest tiny two parts, mountaineous and himali reagion to rest of nepalese is not only wrong but a crime against nepal and nepalese. how could these girijas and madhavs could make commitments with madhises to make arrangements in the constitution accordingly. for what? is that only for sharing chais and power in sighdarbar?
puspajee, it is bitter truth that other languages speaking ethenic groups were dominated in nepal by ranas, shahas and some highky communial KHSA leaders.their languages are not recognised in formal usages, because of the natural reasons, most of them cannot speak and write “khas” languages as proffeciently as real KHas people can. so, they are always behind in every field.
just read some comments above, it is clear to understand that many of them love and speak hindi that even trying to know why other ethenic language speaking people are dissatisfied.when we read some of above comments, i too feel that some commentors still hate newars limbuwans tharus maithilies etc.
just to remind them, probably the newari languages could have become strongest and richest language. it has 22 types of alphabets. while hindi and nepali has only own. further, newari language is veri rich in its litretures,culture and religion. they have mahavarat and ramayan in their languages more than hundreads of years before bhanu bhakta had written first ramayen in nepali.
when nepal had applied in United Nation for the membership, india has proved that the nepali languages and devnagari alphabet is actually hindi languages so nepal’s usages of that languages did not approved by UN. then the government of Nepal had submitted Newari languages and its alphabet (ranjana) as nepal’s national language and alphabet. but in the formal usages in Nepal it is nanned!!!
so we need to correct ourselves and find out the right solutions so that no ethenic communities would frrl that they are descriminated.

agreed. i also do not like our own newar’s such demands. but later i have learnt the hidden virtue of that type of demands by newars and other.
i give you one example which you have considered also. that is tharus demand. because tharus are our one ethenic community and they are in majority in tarai as tharus are also making counter demand against madhises, those madhises are weakening. so, constitution designing authorities need to refuse all such demands including madhises for disintegrating nepal into pieces.
we need united nepal where our all communities will have at least some more opporutunities than before in context of learning and using their languages.

How can you say some Khas communities love indian languages?None of the KHAS leaders have make any agreements with the indian immigrants for making hindi languages as the second national languages.
Why want u people want to make a kathmandu a newa state?Is making a kathmandu newa state solves the problem for the lower poor newar communtities.Absolutely not.It will be just helpful for the upper class newars to dominate the high ranking government post in the kathmandu valley just like bahuns are dominating.
Beside making any newa state doesn’t mean that it will help to preserve the newari culture.Newar communites has to themselves to preserve newari culture.Newari culture is already preserved.

wellcome back in mysansar.in last comment you said you would not show-up in mysansar. feel bad. in some comments i had critisized you, but these are aimed to exchange views and feelings; but all for the betterment of nepal and to have a correct vision.
any way, i read your comment on newar’s demand. now i donot want to wrire any on this topics as it has hurted me knowing that still there are lot from khas communities who expressed their hate to newars in their comments disregarding any virtues of newars’ newari and other communities languages.they rather love to live like indians. so discussing with them has no sence.
since we the newars had lost our country to prithbi narayan shaha we have been living not even like second class citizens but as immigrants in our own country. we respected prithbinarayan shaha and other good kings, accepted learnt khas languages and try to keep it up more than our own languages, but all for nothing, they do hate us.in this regards, when i was just 10-12 years, one of my teacher Isworananda shresthacharya told us that these khas will never love us; then i used to argue with him since i had so many khas friends. he then told me that in days to come i will understand the reality. now i feel that he was right.simply and presisly Khas people hate newars specially.

my cordial respect to for you opinion. i used to say exactly as you said.yes you are right in 2026, we used to have Jeewan Dabu program in radio Nepal. but then because of kedar man bethit then communication minister and his secraatary prakas man sing as managing director of radio Nepal had stooped the Jeewan Dawu program in newari.that is why since then all newars nicknamed Kedar Man Bethit as kedar man bethik. i had participated in protest activities against that.but we did not succeed.sorry to feel that we the newras, gurungs and many other nepali communities have been compelled to live like immigrants in our own nepal
till date. we are still hated by some khas; just read some of comments above. but i know, you know we love to be nepali, we had learnt to live for nepal ignoring all suppressions on our language, culture.
krisnajee, though i am proud to belong to newar, i still donot support on demand for newar state.our nepal is so small. but i beleive we can make that madhesis demand impossible by demanding similar demands by all communities. then no it would be impossible to consider any communities demand for seperate states.for this point only i think i am supporting them. for nepal, so far my feelings are concerned, i am even ready to ignore that i am a newar. i can live like a slave, not even speaking a word in my languages if that could save my nepal.but, if still some communities betray our country by making any sort of commitments with madhesis we the newars would not let them do that.
krisnajee, i donot feel sad or regret for not even listening any song of narayan gopal until he was dead. i still remember once i had requested him to sing a newari song in 2030 in our newari culture programme but he refused. mira didi had sang lots of songs in newari in our culture programme.i am very much grateful to him.narayan gopal was a great singer and none can sing as he could. but he has no contribution in his own community.

agree provided the followers of this concept did honor other citizens languages and integraties.we simply donot understand when we all newars gurungs and many other communities always honor khas languages as it is considered as the national languages, why Khas people hate newari and other languages. just read some comments above.how they hate newars you can feel that.
one question when Girija commitments on 8 points agreements with madhesis who are demanding for hindi languages to be considered as second national language besides their own seperate autonomous state, those khas people who hate newars and their languages, did not speak a word now when newars too demaned for their state, why it is objectionable to some khas.
if khas people think madhesis demands are considerable acceptable, then why not newars’ tharus and others.
i know we need one songle nepal and no autonomous states for any ethenic groups. but who provocated other communities by considering demands of madhesis?
if these khas leaders think that those madhesis and only khas peoples are superior and only madheses and khas requirments will be fulfilled, let them have their states and we we too will have ours own.but we hate to do that, plese raise voice for equel honor to all communities of different ethenic communities. no ethenic communities never had said any thing against khas language they have honored that as the national language of nepal, but but these khas leaders need to let other languages survive in the country with honor.

yes diwakarjee you are a khas thinking superior even if they donot have a place of their own in the earth, they are born immigrants and dying immigrants some in nepal some in the gates of indians in india with a their favorite nick name “badurs” given to them by indians for washing clean their dishes, underwears, polishing shoes and wanching at their gates like dogs.
look at yourself in mirror and try to say a word of any part of your body in your Khas language, but you have none all words and letters are from indian hindi languages.your every word has similarities with indian’s hindi and muslims’ Urdu. so you are neither belong to hindu nor to muslim, you are from inbetween catagory of hindus and muslims.
now mr superior kha diwakarjee, look at what you wear, suruwal? that is infact the salwar of muslims, you wear cap that belongs to newar’s Bhadgaunle topi, you wear Bhoto, that was used by gurungs.
where do you live, in nepal no your are not the indeginious habitants of any part of Newar, are you diwakar from India but from which part of india, you dont know that too.
look, diwakar khas jee do you have your own word to say what is that in your own home? for window you say jhyall, for door you say khapa, for the first floor you say matang. for secon floor you say chota and for the top floor you buyigal. all these are from newari language. all these mean you live in others houses. what did you do there? as servants. yes you are.
though all these, newars gurungs andd all other communities have accepted you as our brothers and they give you a home land.some of your khas are really great, but that does not mean a person like you are as superior as they are. just evaluate yourself and prove that you are a superior one.
in nEpal you cannot see any temple build-up by any khas bramihns most of those are built by newars and gurungs kiratis and lichhibis but non by any khas. those khas bramhins are making money in those temples.
these days also look at your khas leaders, how they were and how they are and what they have been doing in the country where you are sheltering. they infact ruined the whole nation betraying all including their own communities.
though all above, we all newars and other communities still want those khas to live in nepal with sincerity and loyality to the place which is now their only home land in this earth. but, recall what some khas leaders have been doings; selling out rivers, let indian take-over territories but still worshiping deli darbar, for what? is that because they are just living in nepal and they are no true citizens of Nepal?
khas diwakarjee, donot undermine any communities of nepal as khas community also now one of them. learn to live like friends as in a single family. only you cannot be the superior. for what you have been saying that only khas are superior but none other?
