संसारका ठूल्ठूला सामाजिक क्रान्तिको थालनी कुनै न कुनै एक विन्दूबाट सुरु भएका छन्। म्यागसेसे विजेता महावीर दाइका काममा सघाउँदै हिँड्दा मलाई केही ‘अरुको कल्याणका लागि गर्ने’ जाँगर बढ्दै छ। मलाई थाहा छ तपाइँ पढालेखा हुनुहुन्छ। र तपाइँसँग इन्टरनेट पहुँच छ। तर राम्रो शिक्षा नपाएको भए यतिबेला तपाइँ कहाँ हुनुहुनुहुन्थ्यो होला ? कल्पना गर्नुहोस् त। हाम्रा गाउँहरुको कथा सुन्नुभएको छ ? अथवा धेरै भोग्नुभएको पनि हुनसक्ला। अनि त्यहाँको गरिबीलाई अनुभव गर्नुभएको छ ? अथवा तपाइँ आफै त्यस्तै परिवारबाट माथि उठेको हुनुहोला। हो, संसारमा गरिबीभन्दा ठूलो दुःख केही छैन।
त्यही गरिबीको पत्रैपत्रको चपेटामा लपेटिएर एकजना उदयीमान छात्राका सपना छरिन लागेका छन्। ब्याचलर लेबल पढ्ने उनको सपना छरिन नदिन मसँग केही योजना छन्, सहयोगी बन्ने हो ? आउनुहोस् एउटा मानवीय कल्याणको कार्यमा हातेमालो गरौं।

केही दिन अगाडि पर्वतको फलेबास, शंकरपोखरि, थापाथाना र कार्किनेटा लगायतका गाउँहरुमा गयको थियँ पर्वतका समाजसेवि भोलानाथ लम्सालसँग। ‘रिडनेपाल’ भन्ने संस्थाले फलेबासमा ‘प्रभावकारी रुपमा पुस्तकालय सञ्चालन र ब्यवस्थापनको लागि पाँचदिने क्षमता अभिबृद्वि कार्यक्रम’ सञ्चालन गरेको थियो तर म र काठमाडौ बिश्वबिद्यालयबाट इञ्जिनियरिङ गरेका बिबेक शाक्यचाहिँ त्यहाँस्थित सामुदायिक हस्पिटल, उच्च माबि र पुस्तकालयमा इन्टरनेट जोड्न के गर्नुपर्ला भन्ने बुझ्न गयका थियौ भोला लम्सालको अनुरोधमा । उताबाट फर्केपछि सर्भे रिपोर्ट हामिले महावीर पुनलाइ बुझायौँ । त्यहाँ कसरी इन्टरनेट पुराउने भन्ने योजना अब महाबिरले बनाउनुहुनेछ । महावीरको योजना अनुसार पोखराबाट म्याग्दीको मोहरे अनि त्यहाँबाट कास्किको चन्द्रकोट हुँदै इन्टरनेट पर्वतको दुर्लुङ डाँडासम्म पुगिसकेको छ। दुर्लुङबाट फलेबास हुँदै बाग्लुङका गाउँहरुमा इन्टरनेट पुराउने महावीरको लक्ष्य छ । मैले आज उठान गर्न खोजेको बिषय इन्टरनेटको नभएर पर्वतका गाउँहरु पुग्ने क्रममा भोला लम्सालमार्फत भेट भएकी एक उदयीमान छात्रा जुली परियारको हो। सामाजिक संरचनाले उनलाई दलित बनाइदिएको छ। मेरालागि उनी केवल जुली परियार हुन। एउटा उज्जवल भविष्य बोकेकी नेपाली छात्रा। तर उनको भविष्य मैले भने जस्तो सहज उज्यालो छैन।
‘यो गाउँको बिद्यालयमा पढेरपनि राम्रो अंक ल्यायर SLC पास गरेकि अनि अहिले +2 को परिक्षामा ७३% अंक ल्यायर सबैलाइ उछिनेकि एउटि गरिब केटिलाइ भेट्नुहोस’ भोला लम्सालको यो आग्रहपछि म असमञ्जसमा परेको थियँ…भेटेर के भन्ने होला भनेर । जुलिलाइ मैले भेट्दा उनि आमाको सानो सिलाइ पसलमा भर्खर सिलाइयको कसैको स्कुले शर्टमा टाँकहरु हाल्दै थिइन । उनकि आमाले लुगाहरु सिलाइरहेकि थिइन। मैले एकछिन बसेर जुलिका शैक्षिक प्रमाणपत्रहरु हेर्दा प्रष्ट देखेँ उनले एसएलसि राम्रो नंबर सहित पास गरेकि रहिछिन र भर्खरको १२ को परिक्षामा कक्षामा सबैभन्दा राम्रो नंबरसहित पास भयकि रहिछिन । सक्नेहरु सदरमुकाम, पोखरा र काठमाडौतिर थप अध्ययनका लागि लागे तर जुलि परियारसँग अब कसरि पढ्ने स्पष्ट खाका थिएन । कारण आर्थिक अभाव । उनका गरिब बाबु-आमाले उनलाइ १२ सम्म पढाउनुलाइ नै मैले त्यो ठाउँमा ठुलो मानेँ नत्र सडक पुगेरपनि मोटर अझै नचल्ने बिकट गाउँमा छोरिलाइ पढाउनुपर्छ भन्ने चेतना नै कतिलाइ छ र ? तितो सत्य यही हो । उनका बाबु-आमा धन्यबादका पात्र हुन।
जुलिले ११ र १२ मा म्यानेजमेन्ट बिषय अध्ययन गरिन, परिक्षामा राम्रो अंक ल्याइन र अब उनलाइ BBA अध्ययन गर्ने मन छ । BBS भन्दा BBA अवश्यपनि महँगो छ। उनी काठमाडौँ आइन अनि प्राइभेट कलेजहरुमा त उनले पढ्ने अवस्था थियन उच्च फि को कारणले । त्यसपछि उनि शंकरदेव क्याम्पसमा बुझिन । उनले भने अनुसार शंकरदेवमा पनि BBA अध्ययन गर्न चार बर्षको शुल्क २ लाख १८ अठार लाग्ने रहेछ । त्यसबाहेक काठमाडौमा बस्नुपर्यो, खानुपर्यो । खर्चकै कुरा आयो । उनका बाबु-आमाको त उनको कलेजकै शुल्क तिर्ने ल्याकत छैन । गाउँमा पनि उनि राम्रो बिद्यार्थी भयका कारण सहुलियत दरमा पढ्न पायकि थिइन । उनिसँग BBS भर्ना हुन पैसा भयन अनि निराश भएर गाउँ फर्किन र अहिले स्कुले बिद्यार्थिका शर्टहरुमा टाँक हालेर समय बिताइरहेकि छिन । एउटा राम्रो बिद्यार्थि निराश हुनुको परिणाम देश निर्माणका लागि सुखद हुँदैन । यो देश बनाउने त जुलीहरुले नै हो तर जुली गरिब भयकै कारणले चाहेको शिक्षा पाउन नसक्नु बिडम्बना होइन र ? जुली ठूलो राम्रो सम्भावना बोकेकी विद्यार्थी हुन, उनी शिक्षित बनिन भने उनको मात्र होइन उनले धेरैको जीवन उज्यालोतिर लैजानेछिन। उनले जुन वर्गको प्रतिनिधित्व गर्छिन, यसैपनि उनी र उनको परिवारलाइ यो समाजमा दलितको रुपमा हेरिन्छ र त्यही ब्यवहार गरिन्छ । मान्छे केवल मान्छे हो, त्यहाँ दलित र अ-दलित भन्ने हुँदैन । मान्छेलाइ किन हामि केवल मान्छेकै रुपमा मात्र स्विकार्न सक्दैनौँ ? त्यसैले पनि जुलिको शिक्षाको लागि हामिले सहयोग गर्नु एउटा राम्रो शुरुवात हुनेछ। मैले जुलीलाइ भनेको छु ‘ सक्दो प्रयाश म बाट हुनेछ जुली, तिमि निराश नहुनु।’ तर मसँग केवल आँट छ। मैले उनलाई त्यसो भन्दा सोचेको थिएँ संसारमा सबै मान्छे खराब छैनन्। थोरै असल र मानव कल्याणकारी होलान्। तर त्यतिको साथ पाएँ पुग्छ मलाई।
हाम्रो देश आजको अवस्थामा आइपुग्नुमा राम्रो सम्भावना बोकेकाहरुलाइ हामीले कहिले माथि जान दियनौ । ती प्रतिभाहरु समाज र देशको सानो सहयोगकै अभावले कि त पलायन हुन बाध्य भय या समयान्तरमा निस्क्रिय जीवन बिताउँदै गए । हामीले सधै नालायकहरुलाइ मात्र नपुराउनुपर्ने ठाउँमा पुर्यायौँ र तिनै नालायकहरुबाटै दशकौँदेखि शासित हुँदै आइरहेका छौँ । देशको अवस्था बदल्न हामीले हाम्रा साना स्वार्थहरुलाइ एकछिन थाँति राखेर जुली जस्ता देशका भविष्यहरुलाइ निराश हुनबाट रोक्नैपर्छ । उनको थप पढ्ने चाहनालाइ हामीले सम्मान गर्दै सहयोग गर्नैपर्छ नत्र हाम्रा राष्ट्रभक्तिका शब्दहरु केवल ओँठमा मात्र सीमित हुनेछन। म आज तपाँइहरुसमक्ष्य चाडपर्वको यो पुर्वसन्ध्यामा जुलि परियारको थप शिक्षाका लागि अनुरोध गर्छु । सहयोगको शुरुवात म आफैबाट शुरु गरेको छु । तपाँइहरुले जुलिका थप पढ्ने चाहनालाइ साथ दिन सक्दो सहयोग गर्नुहुनेछ भन्ने मेरो विश्वास छ । यदि जुलिले BBA पढ्न पाउने सपना हामिले पुरा गर्न सकियो भने हामिले यो देशका लागि सानै भयपनि केहि गर्नसकियो ।
मित्रहरु हामिले जहिलेसम्म जुलि र थप हजारौँ जुलिहरुलाइ शिक्षित बनाउन सकिँदैन त्यतिबेलासम्म वास्तविक विकास दुर्गम गाउँहरुसम्म पुग्नेछैन । हाम्रो सानो सक्दो सहयोगले एकजना जुलि शिक्षित हुनेछिन तर उनले थप सयौँ जुलिहरुलाइ बाटो देखाउनेछिन भविष्यमा। म काठमाडौँमा रहेका कलेजहरुलाइ अनुरोध गर्न चाहन्छु, कृपया तपाँइहरुले नाफा पनि कमाउनुहोस तर जुलिहरुलाइ निराश हुनबाट रोक्न केही गर्नुहोस । यो देश नबनेकै जुलिहरुलाई उचित शिक्षाको ब्यवस्था गर्न नसकेरै हो। जुलिले एकदिन ब्याचलर्स अनि मास्टर्स सक्नेछिन र यो देशलाइ योगदान दिनेछिन, मलाइ बिश्वास छ । उनले ‘रिडनेपाल’ को तालिममा पनि उत्साहजनक उपश्थिति जनायकि थिइन्। म उनको पढ्न चाहेर पनि पढ्न नपाउने बाध्यताका बारेमा र काठमाडौ खाल्डोमा छिर्ने द्वार थानकोटका डाँडामा देखिने काठमाडौँका कलेजहरुका महँगा होर्डिङ बोर्डहरुको मह्त्वका बारेमा घोरिँदै पर्वतबाट काठमाडौ फर्किएको छु। म जस्तो सामान्य युवकले गर्न सक्ने भनेको सक्दो आफूले गर्ने र सहयोगका लागि साथिहरुसँग आग्रह गर्ने हो ।
हामीले सहयोग गर्ने रकम सिधै जुलिसम्म पुग्नेछैन किनकि एकमुष्ठ रकम एकैपल्ट उनीसम्म पुग्दा त्यसको सदुपयोग नहोला कि भन्ने तपाइँलाई लाग्ला । त्यसैले हामीले उनको शिक्षाको लागि संकलित रकम उनको अध्ययनको चाँजोपाँजो मिलाउने जिम्मा उनै भोलानाथ लम्साललाइ दिन चाहन्छु। लम्साल सर समाजका जिम्मेवार व्यक्ति हुन् र जुलीको विद्यार्थीको पढाइप्रति उनको चिन्ता निकै नै छ। मैले यसरी हतारहतारमा ब्लग लेखेर सहयोग माग्नुको कारण एकै छ। त्यो के भने कलेजहरुमा भर्ना हुने मिति दिनप्रतिदिन सकिँदै छ। आउनुहोस् नेपाली समाजलाई बदल्ने अभियानमा साथ दिनुहोस्। एक एक जना गरेर नै बदल्ने हो संसार।

Congratulation to Bhola Sir, Satellite ji , Juli and person who provided positive and ….comments for the initiation.
I offer one song to all “Phulko ankhama phulai sansar…….” of course I agree with the strong logic if any one is ready to bring back the looted money from our State in the name of rural poverty , education, construction of hydropower, road, irrigation cannel and many more development projects from politician, bureaucrats, policy makers, consultants and …. National traitors.
If not ready to fight to bring back the looted money from the past and present national traitors then I urge with all to kindly give the shoulders to one who has initiated a good task ( Satellite ji in association with Mr. Bhola Lamsal an article is crystal clear) . It is universal that any number starts from one. So why not to join in “Hostema hainse”?
First our GoN MoE, second our government colleges, third private colleges, and fourth any interested persons ( people /institutions) can support as the long list is available in mysansar.com in a response to the article published by Satellite ji are crystal clear. No money will be misused, Juli is highly committed to support persons like her providing her commitment for the future. She will be definitely different from the products of Budhanilkantha, Vansthali, Rato Bangala, Little Angels, Galaxy Public School, The Excelsior whose students return hardly in the villagers.
I congratulate to Juli for her bright future, to a good work of son of motherland Nepal Satellite ji and for a good intervention started from a model of social worker Mr. Bhola Nath Lamsal a founder of community hospital/ library/ radio at Phalebas in Parbat district of Nepal with his high morale dedicated to the service to the nation in a high ranking government official in the past and retired from Chief District Officer ( CDO)
It is appreciable task should learn from this event if one has thought dream to develop Nepal through prayer with love contributing social work honestly.

After going through above comments, what i think is we need some to take leadership for such a job. this is just beginning we have to go long way to no matter which part of the country and issues. if we gather as a group and work then we can achieve any impossible task. so i am with all my friends who really want to do something different from others. Presently i am Sydney but i used to be lecturer back in kathmandu, so i could talk to my friends after dashine if they have a job for her. what we have to help to be independent rather than helping her however i will help her how much i can.

Pokhara University is providing huge number of Scholarship for BBA. Students passed the SLC from government school only can apply this PU Scholarship and it have reservation for Dalit, Durgam and girl etc. I know, it’s not so hard to get this PU Scholarship for Dalit girls like Juli. If she just passes the entrance exam, she can choose the best campus (affiliated by PU) among the various located at PKH, KTM.
She will be more exciting for her further study if she could get scholarship by herself rather than getting fund by various individual. Let her struggle by herself too.
Latter the collected fund by you, can be given her for living expanses. So, plz help her to apply on Pokhara University Scholarship. I am sure that for her it is very easy to get.

It is not for cheap popularity. When i was in Parwat a week ago, i felt, we must help this talented student for her further study.This is starting point, i am sure, we will find hundreds of more Julies and help them or guide them to be educated and good human being. I dont see any wrong intention to help one Julie at beginning because thousand miles of Journey starts with a single step. I agree, asking for help here might sound cheap but at the moment i have no other way to raise her voice.
I assure you, as you advised, i will visit more, analyze more & i will feel the priority,will understand the meaning of real social work.

I am not sure about the intention of Mr. satellite. If it’s all for cheap popularity, he is very smart.Makune also used that trick to show his so called kindness by helping individuals.But if he really want to do something for people who are suffering, he really lack the overall socioeconomic condition of Nepal.There are hundreds of Julie, thousands of Kali, who never saw schools!How do you know how talent they would be provided they got good education/opportunity?I disagree with the idea that “we should start by one” in case of opportunity.
Please visit more, analyze more,you will feel the priority,will understand the meaning of real social work.

In addition to gathering funds for her eduation, it is imperative to establish a system for supporting such qualified individuals for their higher studies.
For that, we should request T.U. for free education for first 10 merit students or something along thet line.
Also the private colleges should also have some policy for suporting eligible students like Juli.
WOuld you think this as an option?
your commitment this time can educate one Juli, establishing this system can support many other Julis over a long time period.
If I were her, I would also apply for scholarship provided by different countries including India for undergrad studies.
Also, once you find enough money for her to enroll in college in ktm, she needs to work hard to survive in Ktm as well. She has sowing skills. Finding her a job in some boutiques for her survival could also be helpful.

Personally,I don’t want to be an obstacle in the fund raising program for Juli.But, before donating money for her, I started to think myself first. I was in a very similar situation when I completed my Intermediate level (I.SC.)from Palpa. Then I moved to Kathmandu empty handed and started to struggle myself, sometime teaching in boarding school in nominal salary, sometime going to door to door sevice in education (home tuition) in kathmandu and collected some money for my study of B.Sc. I used to work whole day in schools, used to take only some classes in ASCOL (only when time permited) and struggled day and night for B.SC. I completed B.Sc. with high first division.
Then why not Juli does the same thing? As Satellite jee has said, he already donated Rs. 5000 for Juli, that money is enough for her to go to kathmandu and servive at least 15 days, then she has to start strugling herself out there in Kathmandu, if she is really a good student, then she has lot of opportunities in kathmandu. Instead of giving her cash money, why not we help her find a small job in kathmandu,like teaching in boarding school at least.
Then she can survive on her own.
We could donate cash money to her if she was unable to do even intermediate, but she already has one. There are at least 10 students in front of my eyes, who are in worse situation than Juli’s.

She has got +2 degree, thats great appreciated. you don’t think this is the huge achievement for those people who live in rural part of nepal. but we need to be more concern about those people are still un-educated. specially the children who can’t reach the light of education. thats why i am working for Nepal children welfare association.

It is good that Julie is on a spotlight so people can open up their wallet for her education. How about others, more desperate Julies, who cannot even make to the door of an elementary school: the only way they recognize a bill (note) is by looking at the picture on it. Can we come up with a mechanism to rightly expose those kids as well?

Malai ta situation testo dire lagena, I don’t think julie need donations, she has a degree, she can work struggle and earn for herself, I guess there might be more who need help.
May be my viewpoint is different, but we all went through the same struggle. she can find work, +2 pass will atleast get some job in school, it will be wise to help her find a job instead of giving away money.
just my 2 cents, you guys are wiser.

Real problem can be seen in big pic.in term of countries problem,things cant be changed until one is in the government with full power.thats why there is a revolution goes on.
but again,i do think change can be started without being in govt. if the dedicated,pure heartedly motivated group of ppl steps ahead.
but in most of the cases,its too hard to find such individuals who r not linked with certain political parties or have faith that only their parties going to bring real change.in such cases,it will be worthless to join free individuals.
if ppl have guts to join hands for the CAUSE without bringing their political prejudices then only things gonna work.
Seeing the enthusiasm of some friends,my lost faith is peeping back.lets see.

I think there are lot of scholarship for Dalits for higher education.Satellite ji ko pahuch le help garchha ki!!!!!
I always supported Satellite’s effort.But I am not sure about this.What about collecting opening school or college for this purpose.I am sure there would be enough helping hands.
And for Juni, she is not alone in this situation.But since she is supposedly dalit she can easily get job in some NGO’s(I think Mr Satellite can definitely help on this) and if she want she can continue her education.There are thousands of people like Juni working and studying in Kathmandu.I did that too.

Guys plz don’t give the money someone or dont donate the money in someone’s account who isn’t register in charity. Giving or donating money is not the solve of problems. So guys,, we can find her a nice college where she wants to study, coz there r lots of college who still searching 4 good students. So friends please find her a nice college, where she can study free of charge and plz someone find or provide a nice job for her somewhere near her college.I think this will help her and gives the confidence.I think so…. what u think ??? tell me(‘|’)|||||

I appreciate your work in the past. I rarely comment in mysansar blog but I have read your work in the past in this blog. I know you are motivated and have passion to work for the society without having any self interest.
Mind you, my aim is not to oppose your campaign of raising money for Julie. I have done few works in the past which makes me proud somehow but my experience came as follows.
However, we all have different views. They say great minds hardly agree with each other. You brought wave in my mind because I have been brain storming about the restructuring of the society.
Bottom line is to create equal opportunity to all fellow citizens in the country. What I m saying the innocent kid born in plough person(hali) for his owner should have equal opportunity as the kid born in the owner’s house in basic needs of food, shelter, cloth, education and health. Equal opportunity does not mean everyone should perform equally. We need to work for the sustainable development so that we don’t need to help individually to Julie.
In my view we should not bug down into detail without out knowing the big picture first. I don’t like the NGO type of work because this is not the way of sustainable development but making people dependent to other. NGOs and INGOs want always to wait for them. And they don’t just make people of poor countries wait for them for food but they are the source of intelligent information to their government from the poor society hence they are the main huddle of development. Lets not get confused when they go with smiley face with food. If we want real development, we must start to be independent.
I wrote in my personal website few weeks back about the changes required and why. The present political and social system produces lots of Julies. Lets go to fact of the world. 2 percentages of the world population controls more than 50 percentages of the resources (wealth), 20 percentages consumes 80 percentages of resources in the world. 1 billion people go to bed without food everyday which is 1 in every 6 people in the world.
Let’s see what is going on inside our country. Our country’s situation is worse than the whole world’s situation. We have heard there is no rice even to worship in coming festival in Karnali district and other remote areas. We read news people queuing up for kilo rice collapsed on the line. 100s of our brothers and sisters died due to poor quality rice distributed by INGOs.
Lets find out what is the root cause of the problem. Lets not look in our own perspectives and self interest but think whole society as your body. In my opinion from the study so far I did is unequal distribution of world resources and wealth.
In the context of Nepal, we have inappropriate allocation of lands. The people who have no other skills than working in land have no land. They are landless and work for others. They sleep with hungry stomachs after working whole day in other’s land. How can we think about the education of the kid born in such a family? Since they have no land there is no peace of mind in the parents and cannot provide appropriate environment to kids for study even we help few Ruppes to the kid’s education. Can we think broadly? The opportunity is not equal to those kids in under privilege families even we provide money to them. Lets not argue showing exceptions, I m talking about most of the case. There are some student came from under privilege family have done well, that is the exceptional case.
Anyone has same thoughts? Want to work not for name, fame and money but to build society providing equal opportunity to every person in the country and in the world through sustainable development, let’s discuss the matter for changes. I have passion and energy for it. Anyone?
I have more thoughts in sustainable development which is not possible to write everything in one go.

here,i just neglect the cooments who just want excuses not to help.
but some comments r worth discuss such as Thaneshwarji and Madhukarji.
Thaneshwarji’s plan will be quite effective for long term but it needs some manpower who can follow up regularly.
Suggestion of Madhukarji’s to find job for Julie together with her study is something we can think of.
what i think is,rather than helping julie for whole BBA at once,lets help her admission,books n stationaries,n for her initial survival n try to find parttime job for her.
i think it wont be that hard to find her job cs just by one post in my sanssar if ppl r ready to help this way then there is a grt hope that some private companies,after listening her story n her talent,certainly will be ready to help her by offering job.
in this way,she will also have opprtunity to pursue her study by her own hardwork.that will certainly sharp her inner being,which she wont have experience if everything happens easily.we have a lot example in our society that students from low economic background who has to help at household work has done quite better than the students of rich parents.college study together with job is very common practice in europe too.

Good initiative by the Satellite. However, do satellite is aware how many capable students are even not getting to chance to complete +2? If Nepal could educate all the children up to +2, will be enough. So, to provide support for an individual for an undergraduate degree seems not convincing. The approach is good for Julee but seems the potential donor will think this way as well.
I just wish good luck to Satellite for Julee’s educational fund raising campaign.

तपाईं जस्तो सकारात्मक सोच भएको मान्छेको नेपालमा आवश्यकता छ । तर विडम्बना भनौं वा दुर्भाग्य हामी आम नेपालीका अगुवाहरुको व्यक्तिगत स्वार्थले हरेक क्षेत्रमा राम्रो काम गर्न खोज्ने मानिसहरु पाखा लगाइएका छन् । जुली मात्र हैन प्रत्येक नेपालीले शिक्षा पाउने आधिकार राख्छन् । स्कूल पठाउन क्षमता नभएका धेरै नेपालीहरु छन् । ती प्रत्येक नेपालीको शिक्षामा पहुँच कसरी पुर्याउने भन्ने आजको मुख्य आवश्यकता हो । शिक्षा र स्वास्थयको ग्यारेण्टी सरकारले नै लिनुपर्छ तर दुखको कुरा सरकार नै …… भए पछि के गर्ने । यस क्षेत्रमा काम गर्ने तमाम संघ संस्था पनि नभएका होइनन् तर उही डलरको खेतीमा मस्त अनि गरीब नेपालीको अवस्था जस्ताको तेस्तै । सामान्य उपचार गराउन नसकेर दिनहुँ ज्यान गुमाउने तमाम हामी आम नेपाली नै अग्र स्थान मा छौं । तपाईंको व्यक्तिगत प्रयासको सम्मान गर्नै पर्छ यसमा म पूर्ण सहमत छु । तर यस सम्बन्धमा मेरो केही भिन्न विचार रहेकोले यसलाई अन्यथा लिनुहुने छैन भन्ने आशा लिएको छु । त्यसैले शिक्षा र स्वास्थ्यको क्षेत्रमा विपन्न अवस्थामा रहेका जुली र कमला जस्ताहरुको समस्या समाधानका लागि संस्थागत रुपमा प्रयास गर्नु परयो । एक जनालाई पैसा उठाएर दिनु भन्दा संस्था मार्फत सबै लाई सहयोग पुग्ने गरी प्रयास गर्दा राम्रो होला । त्यसतै जुली जी लाई नगद दिएर सहयोग गर्नु भन्दा बिहान वि.वि.ए. को अध्ययन र दिउँसोमा रोजगारीको व्यवस्था गर्न सके अझ राम्रो हुन्थ्यो कि ?

I always read your blog and this is something novel work you are doing. I know this is individual work and this will not help in big picture however this is an example for all Nepalese Leaders and education providers who makes our education so expensive so that those poor people could not reach. I really appreciate the works and initiative taken by Mr. Shrestha for the highter education of the poor so called Dalit girl. As you are really impressed by her performance in SLC and +2 and willing to help with support of the well wishers. I really doubt and uncertain about the education as Mr/Mrs Puspa has raised the question.As you visited the remote part of Parbat District.. did not you notice that hundreds of poor people of the western remote part of Nepal never atttnding school and they have nothing to eat too. YOu are worried about Julie…. (a beautiful young girl who must have studied in a private school and +2 until now… which school or higher secondary school you did not mention.). Why you are interested to invest at least Rs 500000(Five Lakh) for a single girl…what will the nation or the society gain from that…as think about yourself…..what you did fot the country…. I agree with you that our small contribution will make her life successful.. but after 4 years…she will fell in love with a boy..or will get married..have children…she begins to earn…and she never will be dalit…again and she begins to descriminate…other poor dalits..who do not have access to education….Think about investing with the well wishers and supporters to open a boarding school for the poor and dalits of western remote part of Nepal who don not have access to education and so called civilised society.Lets shake the hands together… to do a very noble things…(Please.. all the readers are requested not to take the comment as a negative remarks.. please think deeply.. before you make any comments and suggestions…This is not the matter of one Julie…for her carereer… but for the basic fundamental right of poor children of NEpal.)))

I appreciate Satellite’s initiative; but I believe that “individualized” financial help of this nature is not an effective solution to societal problems if we look at a “bigger picture.” We don’t even have to go finding in remote areas, probably most of us know a few people as Julie no matter where we are. I can name at least four of such needy young fellow citizens myself; and it’s really unjustifiable for me to ask for a support of this kind to others. If I had the capacity, I would have liked to help them on my own, but I am incapable of doing that either.

Mr Satellite there are so many july in nepal. How dare you to ask for money? it is absolutely abuse of authority and thoes persons who wish to donate are also abusing their authority. Asking for money in the intransparent way is not legal in the civil society and how do we trus the money doneted by us is not misused.If you realy want to help the thousands JULY of nepal then open the organization and try to help them through the organization in a transparent way with out advertising there photographs. I strongly object the way you are going for. In the name of social welfair we can not put any body over the law and rule of law.
Thoes persons who are doing admirable work have to follow the respect the rule of law.
If you go through the tranparent way only then the civil society can admire your endvaour other wise I strongly object the the way you have adopted.

अब तपाईंले जुली बहिनिको समस्या बुझिहाल्नु भयो । उन्को पढाई अत्यन्तै राम्रो रहेछ । दुर्गाम ठाउँ को मान्छेले ७३ प्रतिशत ल्याएर उत्तिर्ण हुन सक्नु ( त्यो पनि आर्थिक स्थिती कम्जोर को बाबजूद पनि ) चानचुने कुरा होइन ।
आर्थिक परिस्थिती कम्जोर अवस्थाको दुर्गाम मा बस्ने मान्छेलाई काठमान्डौमा आएर पढ्न अबश्य गार्हो हुन्छ । जुली बहिनिले १२ पास गर्नु भयो दुर्गाम बाट नै तर अब अगाडि पढ्न उन्लाई काठमान्दौ आउनु पर्ने रहेछ ।

जिम्मेबार शैछिक सस्थाले पक्कै पनि निरुत्साहित हुन दिने छैन । अब खान बस्न आदी खर्छ को लागि जुली बहिनिले बिहानको क्लास लिन सक्नु हुन्छ ( यदो बिहान् को क्लास लि न सम्भब हुन्छ भने , अहिले थुप्रै बिहान् को क्लास हुने कालेज हरु छन ) र दिन मा उनलाई कुनै संघ सस्था आदिमा जागिर को ब्यबस्था को लागि पहल गरिदिन सक्नु हुन्छ तपाईं हरुले ।
जिबन संघर्स हो —– संघर्स गर्ने ब्यक्तिले आफ्नो अधिकार पनि चिन्न सछ्यम हुन्छ भोली गएर —–
तपाईंहरुले जुली बहिनिलाई अभिभाबक को रुपमा गाईड गरिदिन सक्नु भयो भने उनी भोली गएर संघर्सशिल बिद्यार्थी को रुपमा उदाहरण बन्न पुग्ने छि न् र उनी जस्ताइ थुप्रै जुली हरुको निम्ती उनी नमूना हुने छि न ।

I read through all the comments. But I could find only one comment that touched me so far. And it was yours. I will like to request Satellite to form a group for such a social work like you posted before for opening library, helping poor students, opening a well-fare club etc, etc. There are a lot we can do for our country even if we are not there. I will promise to join and contribute regularly if such kind of organization is formed to help our country and our people. Mahabir pun is one of the great example we must admire in our society. We talked about him last week when I went to Nepalese Restaurant at Washington DC area. He is role model for us. So may be we can form a team lead by him to help our country. We can register one domain for planning, next project and transparent economic distribution we make for every project.
And I am serious about this. I put my name anonymous here. If satellite or other friends who have same inner thought can mail me at free_sites@yahoo.com. We can form a group and help in every area we can..

I honestly appreciate your purpose. Sorry for belated response. Introvert jee, I liked the way you presented yourself, It would be better if we could know more about your plans which can bring social changes. When I was in elementary school, I came to learn that social change is like a soil formation process. I mean it takes a long time, quite a long time. Yes, regardless of the time, beginining is important. In case of Julie, I see that she is quite healthy and smart and has already passed +2. Then why she wants to depend on the donations? Is this donation dependent mentality would make her independent? I doubt! In developed countries I have often seen that just after schooling, the students for their undergraduate course (bachelor degree) fund themselves by working in stores, restaurants, laboratories etc. I know the situation is different in Nepal, but instead of collecting donation for her, why not try to arrange some job for her. That will teach her hardwork as well as dignity. May be words are harsh but I can not stop myself. Sorry for that. I was pondering from yesterday, why Satellite jee saw Julie only? There are so many who are even not able to feed themselves. Education is TADHAA KO KURA. Okay, I admit that she is intelligent. There are so many colleges around which would definitely provide her scholarship that too giving her big picture on any daily newspaper boasting about their college. Is not it wise to grab such opportunities? I think Satellite jee, though your purpose is very much admirable, it should be for those who are more deprived of LIFE, not this Julie. I am sure, you understand what I mean. Do not take negatively, but I can see from the picture that she is not that much impoverished compared to average rural population of Nepal.

Hi introvert, your theme behind the sustainability and resource distribution and access to land was worth reading. I agree with your concern about land rights and it is in fact the biggest issues to come while making constitution. UN and World bank are all bogus….they have ruined the world with dependency and now every country is entrapped, so is Nepal. NGO and INGO is not the solution for poverty reduction but then we should established ‘third network’…what could that be? let us think on that? Sustainable development has to be there but how???????? The bureaucratic system…. institutionalization of resources ……how far you think is it feasible in the practical world to just blabber over theories and ideas?
Even if we plan to take the initiation we still need some sort of ‘informal’ organisation, but we can make a difference……we need commitment and than resources(finance) to implement our thinking….fund raising is biggest issue…!! Are you ready introvert…..I am coming back to my country next year to try my luck….if you be around there we can meet up and think what could be best done ….! i am ready to sacrifice materialistic opportunity….! let us meet and share thoughts let us create a blog to do that…let us share emails and network….we need network and credible network to gain people’s trust we need to be in the field with the local people….! i am an ardent follower of sustainable development and perhaps that is the only messiah for the new crappy american world…!

उनको क्षमता, चाहाना र अध्ययन गर्न लागेको क्षेत्रको professional potentiality लाइ ध्यानमा राख्दै सर्वप्रथम सहि कलेजको छनौट र भर्ना प्रक्रियामा कलेजसंग छलफल गरि सक्दो छात्रवृत्तिको व्यवस्थाको पहल गरौं। काठमांडौका धेरै नीजि कलेजहरुले छात्रवृत्ति दिएरै भए पने राम्रो शैक्षिक background भएका जुलिहरुको खोजि गरिरहेका हुन्छन। नगद आर्थिक सहयोग गर्नु भन्दा हामिले १ कोषको स्थापना गरि त्यो कोषबाट विना व्याजमा अध्ययन पश्चात किश्तावन्दिमा तिर्ने गरि आर्थिक सहयोग गर्नु उचित होला। तंपाइ हामिले गरेको सहयोग १ जना व्यक्तिलाई भन्दा पनि क्षमता भएका तर स्रोतको अभावले समस्यामा परेका नेापली युवा विधार्थिहरुलाई सहयोग पुग्यो भने मात्र हाम्रो सहयोग सार्थक होला।
