Thank you so much for your donations, good wishes and continued support.
I apologize for taking this long to update you. I wanted to show some results before getting back to everyone. The last week or so, I have been working sleepless nights trying to fix Mysansar’s web server issues.
Today, I am very glad to tell you that Mysansar is now being hosted on one of the most sophisticated and cutting edge web hosting environments (using Amazon EC2 with S3 storage and Cloudfront. I will be writing about the new hosting environment as a separate blog post soon). Mysansar should now be faster and more reliable and should not suffer outages during traffic spikes. New features are improvements are being worked upon will be introduced soon.
If you have a feature request or would like to see certain things on Mysansar, post it in a comment below.
We pledge to work harder evermore to bring you quality news, views and entertainment from Nepal in a clean and easy to use web environment.

man when somebody says its free then why most of the people thinks that everything has to be free… after all whoever collects news and does posting over the site they also need some financial support. After all its all about empty stomach. Because empty stomach cant bring any productive and informative results.

Have you ever thought about making this website profitable. You claim and large traffic and yet complain that you cannot monetize on it. Have you ever approached any VCs? Knowing how to work to making it to work and to make money out of your work are 3 different steps. You have completed two but why are you struggling with the third??

Hi Aalok,
Thank you for your suggestions. Most websites monetize from Google ads. Google displays ads depending on the content of the website. Since we have Nepali content it can not find relevant ads. It sometimes displays un-targeted or defaults ads which pay extremely low.
You talk about Venture Capitalist (VC), these guys usually invest for a stake in a company (or for guaranteed profits after a certain period of time). We are not a company not do we ever plan to be. Even important: most VC firms are a part of a big corporations; being tied with them basically defeats the purpose of running an independent blog.
One way Mysansar can profit is by receiving direct ads. We are working on finding more.

Yeah..it is ridiculously surprising to see that when its high time to support some noble cause, then everybody absconds like a cold turkey…. looking forward to see the list growing a bit more… wish Mysansar good luck..
