जन्मदिनमा तपाईँ के उपहारको अपेक्षा गर्नुहुन्छ ? राजदरबारभित्र हुर्केका पाँच वर्षीय नवयुवराजले त झन् आफ्नो बर्थ डेमा के-के आशा राख्दा हुन् ? श्री ५ नवयुवराज ह्रदयेन्द्र वीरविक्रम शाहदेवले के के उपहारको अपेक्षा गरेका थिए होलान्, तर नेपाल सरकारले उनलाई जन्मदिनको अवसर पारेर दिएको उपहार हो, नेपालको राजगद्दीमा तिम्रोभन्दा धेरै हक अब तिम्री दिदी पूर्णिकाको छ। तिमी अब नवयुवराजधिराज रहेनौ। हृदयेन्द्रले आफ्नो पाँचौ वर्ष प्रवेशसँगै श्री ५ को सम्मान र २५ हजार रुपैयाँ मासिक तलब पनि गुमाउने भएका छन्।
दैनिक पत्रिका नेपाल समाचारपत्रले साउन १३ गते (किन हो कुन्नि समाचारपत्रले अरुले भन्दा एक दिन पहिल्यै हृदयेन्द्रलाई शुभकामना दियो) र अन्य पत्रिकाहरु गोरखापत्र, राजधानी, अन्नपूर्ण पोष्टले साउन १४ गते नवयुवराज हृदयेन्द्रलाई जन्मदिनमा सुस्वास्थ्य, दीर्घायु एवं सुखको कामना व्यक्त गरेका थिए। तर, जन्मदिनको भोलिपल्ट आज १५ गते सरकारले, छोरीमान्छे पनि नेपालको राजउत्तराधिकारी हुन सक्ने निर्णय गर्दै अन्तिम फैसलाका लागि प्रतिनिधि सभामा पेश गर्ने निर्णय गर्यो।
तपाईँलाई थाहै छ, नेपालको संसदमा अहिले सात दलको तर्फबाट प्रस्तुत गरिने कुनै पनि प्रस्ताव सर्वसम्मतले नभए प्रचण्ड बहुमतले पारित हुन्छ। आज मात्र संसद परिसरमा चुरोट पिउन नपाइने प्रस्ताव संसदले पारित गर्यो।
मन्त्रिपरिषदको आजको बैठकले संसदमा पेश गर्ने निर्णय गरेको विधेयक (राजगद्दी उत्तराधिकार सम्वन्धी कानून संशोधन विधेयक) २०६३ अनुसार अब राजाको जेठो सन्तान छोरी भए उनी नै राजगद्दीको उत्तराधिकारी हुनेछिन्। यसै कारण कुनै दुर्घटना नभए २३७ वर्ष लामो नेपालको शाहवंशीय राजपरम्पराको इतिहासमा कहिल्यै नभएको कुरा अब नवयुवराजकुमारी पूर्णिका राज्यलक्ष्मी शाह, नेपालको राजगद्दीमा विराजमान हुने छिन्।
तर, प्रस्तावित विधेयकमा राजा-रानीको जेठो सन्तान राजउत्तराधिकारी हुने व्यवस्था भए पनि राज्यरोहण गर्नु पहिले प्रधानमन्त्री अध्यक्ष रहेको छुट्टै विशेष समितिले ती व्यक्ति राजउत्तराधिकार बन्न योग्य भएको प्रमाणित गर्नुपर्छ। विशेष समितिमा सभामुख, विपक्षी दलहरुका नेता तथा मन्त्रीहरु रहने व्यवस्था सरकारले गरेको छ।
यसको अर्थ हो, जेठो सन्तान राजउत्तराधिकारी बन्न उनले प्रधानमन्त्री, मन्त्री, सभामुख र विपक्षी दलको नेता को मन जित्नुपर्छ। नत्र, संसदको अनुमतिमा यो समितिले अर्कै व्यक्तिलाई राजगद्दी सुम्पिन सक्छ। यसका साथै राज्यरोहण गर्नका लागि संसदमा आएर सपथ पनि खानुपर्छ।
अब कुनै पनि दिन संसदले यो विधेयक पारित गर्नासाथ राजा ज्ञानेन्द्रपछि जेठो सन्तानका हैसियतले युवराजाधिराज पारस त राजा हुन पाउलान् तर त्यसपछि उनको छोरा ह्रदयेन्द्र राजा नभई पूर्णिकाले नेपालको शाहंवशीय राजपरम्परालाई धान्नेछिन्। नयाँ ऐनमा श्री ५ को पद राजा, रानी, युवराजलाई मात्र दिने प्रस्ताव भएबाट हृदयेन्द्रले आफ्नो पाँचौ वर्ष प्रवेशसँगै श्री ५ को सम्मान र २५ हजार रुपैयाँ मासिक तलब पनि गुमाउने भएका छन्।
गणतन्त्रको नारा जताततै छ र आन्दोलन गरेका कुनै पनि दलले गणतन्त्रको विरोध गर्न सकेका छैनन्, तर पनि संसद र सरकार राजाका उत्तराधिकारी सम्बन्धी, राजाको सम्पत्ति सम्वन्धी निर्णय गरिरहेका छन्। नरहे बाँस नबजे बाँसुरी अर्थात राजा नै नराख्ने भनेपछि के को राजगद्दीको उत्तराधिकारी, के को दरबारको सम्पत्तिमा कर।
आम मानिस जस्तै एक जना मन्त्रीलाई पनि मैले यही प्रश्न सोधेको थिएँ। तर, ती चतुर मन्त्रीले जवाफ दिइहाले, राजा अहिल्यै राख्ने भनेर कसले भनेको छ र ? त्यो त संविधान सभाले निर्णय गर्ने कुरा पो हो त। यदि संविधान सभा अगाडि नै राजगद्दी खाली (राजा मरेर वा अन्य कुनै कारणले) भयो भने कसैलाई त राजा बनाउनै पर्यो, त्यसैले यस्तो ऐनको व्यवस्था गर्न लागेको !
If people want King, king must be select from the election and their authority to be king or queen would be five years ,It depends on their work.It will be good for best country.
I don’t think Nepal needs the MONARCHY. By the way why many peole are emotional to the Royal family? We dont need Sruti’s kids nor others. Because leave them in their own condition nor one day they will die untimely.

First of all monarchy is not necessary anymore. But, since parliament has come to the conclusion of making first child as King/Queen, it should be “late Shruti’s” eldest daughter’s turn before Paras.

Solutions:-wait until these animallike leaders die.
Another movement to drive them away from nepal.

The question is genuine. The answer is if Nepalese potlitician and army are determined to be “bheda” for that long it is quite possible. Hope self concious, selfsteemed, and respectful citizen will change the arogant and decietful history very soon and the ordinary people will no longer require to worship the beasts.

Bhattariji, I like the issue and all the comments. These leaders have forgotten the mandate of the revolution and surely they are paving their grave together with the king!
I doubt whether there will be any constituent assembly election. In a month or so when they are successful pulling weapons from the maoists, they will declare proudly: “No constituent assembly, we have ammended the constitution for the people.”
I suggest Prachnada not to fall in their trap, be careful. You are the only hope for Gantantra Nepal ( republic). These SPA leaders are working under the masterplan of America, India, japan, China and Gyanendra to disarm maoists and keep nepal a kingdom under the shared rule of SPA and the king!
They know people won’t vote for them, so they want to continue from now onwards without any election!

This is bullshit, all nepalise are eggerly waiting to hear CA in the country. But what’s going on with SPA. they don’t have any responsiblity of the country and the people. Still they want to same way to go and drink innocent’s people’s blood like they did before with gyane or durbar. If Spa really thinking about the country and the people they won’t be spent their time like this. Otherwise they don’t need to think durbar and who will be the king or whatever. Because we are already enough we don’t want to hear anymore king in Nepal.
Lets decide future of monarchy by the referendum. If people approve monarchy, lets declare Late Princess Shruti’s daughter be the heir to the throne. This lineage should not go to Paras and/or his offsprings.
Though the future of monarchy will be decided by the CA elections, I am with this decision. As a female, I think this decision will help a lot to boost the psychology of females. The elder child whether it is son or daugther will now be the king or queen for the time being. There is no discrimination on gender basis. Later on after CA elections, this may also change. But I am happy for now.

I agree with Suman…etc. What a time wasting excercise these so called politician are engaged in. Why are they delaying the most urgent and important issues? In one side they talk about qualified he or she for the position of heir in other side they have no guts to expose Gyanedra and his infamous son’s sins, corruption, criminal activities to punish them. Is it the view of the SPA that now Gyanedra and Paras are no good to be king and they transfer that position to a small child who is not corrupt or criminal yet. If that is the case, it should happen right now only up to the decision by CA. I am sure Nepalese people had so much of the cancer like royal institution which spreaded the desease of poverty, corruption, and lawlessness over 237 years in unfortunate Nepalese history. Once your cancer is diagonosed, you want promt treatment, where you can you undergo operaton and through it out.
If there is still confusion in SPA about the monarchy they all should be sacked and given Psychiatric treatment.
Any top position whether honorary or electected politician, it has to be based on personal calibre, dinity, moral, ethical, intelectual ability, leadership quality and trust of the people who can demonstrate his ability to serve, not that a criminal was borne in palace and he still deserve to kill further. Think several times before you make decision. Stupid decision will make us suffer for indefinite period. Wake up agian if you are still sleeping.

देशमा रणभेरि बजाउनु पर्ने बेलामा थाल ठटाएर बस्ने सांसदहरु का कुरा गरेर के साध्य। करिब २ महिना अघाडि माओबादि अध्यक्ष प्रचन्डले एउटा अन्तरबार्तामा भने जस्तै मोरेको बाघका जुंगा उखेलाइ मात्रहो यो घोषणा। देशको ढोका गणतन्त्रले घटघटाइ रहेको बेलामा राजगद्दिको उतराधिकरि छानेर किन बस्नु पर्यो यि हिजाडा सांसदहरुलाइ?
गणतन्त्र नेपाल मा किन फेरी अर्को नौटन्की गरेको? खुरुक्क ज्ञाने लाइ उस्को भाइ मारेको र मुर्ति-गाजा चोरेको अनि पारसे लाइ जाड खाएर झगडा गरेको, मान्छे मारेको आदी आदी कारणले डोरी मा झुन्ड्याउनु पर्छ्, र त्यो हाम्रो जन अदालत ले मात्र गर्न सक्छ । किन जन अदालत बिचरा निमुखा जनता लाइ सताउदै हिडछ ? ज्ञाने लाइ झुन्ड्याउने हैन ?
यो के नाटक हो?
अब ग्यानेको जेठो छोरो पारसे हो भन्ने सबैलाइ थाहा छ।
ग्याने अझै २०-३० बर्स बाँच्ला, अनि पारस सोल्टिले अरु ३०-४० वर्स
राज गर्ला। अनि त्यसपछिको रानीलाइ १०० वर्स अगाडिनै साँसदहरुले रातो
कार्पेट विछ्याएको? के गर्या हो यो?
अझै १००-१५० वर्स शासन चलाउँछौँ भन्ने त ग्याने-पारस लाई पक्कै विश्वास थिएन, अब पार्टिहरुले तालुमा आलु फलाइदिए।
वाह! दरबारमा आज पक्कै महा-भोज छ। दरबार नजिक घर हुनेले हेक्का गर्नुस मासु र ठर्राको मगमग वासन चलेको होला दरबारमार्गमा आज।
आफु त अहिले विदेशमा छु, सुँघ्न जाउँ भनेपनि मौका मिलेन। हत्तेरिका!!
राजाको नै अन्यको माग गरिरहेको बेलामा यो अन्तिम नाटक बाकिनै रहेछ होला संसदको लागि। बरु अब संसदले श्रीमानको श्रीमति र श्रीमतिको श्रीमान् घोसणा गर्न बाको छ जस्तो लाग्छ।
यो संसद र ७ दलले अब देशमा राजा राखनेनै भय जस्तो छ। राजाको अन्त्य नेपालि जनताको लागि सपना बाहेक अरु केहिबाकि रहेन्न्। अब ७ दल कुर्लदै भन्छ, माओबादिको हत्तियार खोजन भरमज्दुरले लागेको देखिन्छ। बरु माओबादि फेरि युद्धमा जाओस हामि राजा राखि छाड्छौ! हामि भत्ता खायि छाड्छौ! बरु अरु जनता १५ को ठाउँमा ३० हाजारनै किन नमरुन हामि राजाको निरन्तरता जारि राखछौ! खुसखोरि जारि राखछओ! माओबादिले जेभने पनि हामिलाइ मोरियाटिले सात दियकै छन्। भारतले, जापानले , साथ दएकै छ। उएइले मनि साथ दिएकै छ।
यो देशको दुर्दशा हो। यदि राजाको अन्त्य इ दलले चाहेका हुनभने राजगद्धै उत्तराअधिकार छोरा बा छोरिनै भनि किन राख्नुको ओचित्य के छ? यस्को सजिलो अर्थ हो राजालाइ राखि राखनु। नत्र के त?
हैन यि पातकी सान्सद हरु को फेरी यो कुन नयाँ नाटक हो ? के को उत्तरधिकारी ? गणतन्त्र नेपाल मा ?
The one who has luck gets the throne. Let’s wait and watch who has the luck to be the king of Nepal. It’s not sure that the future king will be from the Shah dynesty. There is also chance that the kingship may my abolished from the country.
Our incompetent leadership are indulging to save monarchy, and trying to draw us in useless discussion like who will be the successer of throne. No, we don’t want anybody to rule us again, no matter if that is paras or shruti’s daughter. Our fight is for creating an equal oppurtunity for all nepali sons and daughters to lead the country. Just because somebody born somewhere, he/she should not be entitled to lead the nation. It is the personal calibre and public trust that should matter, and that should be counted.

It is nonsense. If the country is going to face constitutional assembley ellection and CA will decide about the monarchism and all other political system for the country then why SPA are doing this drama. I wonder what the present government really wants? CA or other things?
These circumstances leading me to say that SPA and present government are not honest toward verdict of people’s movement and or CA and the solution of present political crisis. Otherwise why government is giving time to such decision which ultimately will be decided by CA??????
Yes, if constituent assembly let monarchy remain in Nepal, in any forms, the throne should go to the daughter of shruti.

This very contradictory to what the government say and does. members of the cabinet are advocating that the monarchy should be abolished and at the same time, they are amending rules to curtail perks, previledges etc. What is this rubbish about, at the end SPA words and deeds are like elephant eating and showing teeth.
Secondly, apart from giving them perk, apart from the King, queen, crownpriness/prince and queen mother, the title of Shree panch should be ateakn out and trated as ordinary citizen.
Hey Finance Minsitry, what happen to your enquiry letter about the fully loaded Pajero imported in Nepal, without paying tax. The Pajero is not for the king, but his nephew in Law, Some Singh (son of Arjun & Shardha Singh’s son married to one of Direndra ko daughter) is lavingly using a tax free jeep. Why can;t hat not be confistciated.

Nepal Goverment should declare Birendra’s garnd daughter as the successor of the nepali throne.
I think Late King birendra’s daughter late Princess Shruti has two daughters.So, if there will be continuation of royal syatem, Shruti’s daughter has right over nepali throne.
