5. कान्तिपुरको कार्यालयमा बुधवार जे भयो त्यो माघ १९ पछि खेलेको कान्तिपुरको लोकतान्त्रिक भुमिकावाट तिल्मीलाएर मनमा बदलाको भावना पालिरहेकाहरुको काम हो भन्नेमा सायद कसैमा पनि द्धुविधा छैन । यो निन्दनीय काम नै हो । यसैले यसको निन्दा त गर्नै पर्छ नै ।
   माघ १९ को शाही कदम पछि यसले खेलेको भुमिकाले प्रतिगमन कमजोर भएको हो भन्नेमा कुनै द्धुविधा छैन । तर, एक पत्रकारीताको विद्यार्थी भएकोले मेरो विचारमा माघ १९ पछि कान्तिपुरले पुर्ण मिसन पत्रकारीता गरेको थियो ।
   यसमा उ धेरै हदसम्म सफल पनि भएको हो । तर एक दैनिक पत्रिकाले यसरी मिसन जर्नालिजम गर्दाको परिणाम के हुन्छ र यो व्यावसायिक पत्रकारीता हो वा हैन त्यो भने स्वतन्त्र विष्लेशणको पाटो नै हो ।
   कान्तिपुर कत्तिको व्यवसायिक छ अनी कत्तिको व्यवसायिक पत्रकारीता गर्छ त्यो त्यही कार्यरत पत्रकारहरुलाइ नै राम्ररी थाहा छ । कि मेरो बुझाइ गलत हुनुपर्‍यो नत्र मेरो विचारमा माघ १९ पछि कान्तिपुर साप्ताहिकको रुपमा अगाडि बढेको होकि भन्ने विष्लेशण रहेको छ ।
   तर यसले राष्ट्रलाइ भने फाइदा नै भएको छ । त्यसैले त्यो पाटो उप्काइरहनु नपर्ला ।
   तर यदी कान्तिपुर अब बैशाख ११ पछि पनि त्यही धारमा हिड्ने हो भने यो विषयलाइ बहसको पाटो बनाउनै पर्छ कि भन्ने मेरो धारणा मात्र हो । कान्तिपुर कुनै ब्यक्तिको लगानी रहेको पत्रिको हो । नेपालमा रहेका अहिलेका दैनिकहरुमध्ये पाठकमा धेरै प्रभाव छोड्न सफल पत्रिका पनि हो । मलाइ लाग्छ यसमा त्यहा कार्यरत पत्रकारको भन्दा मालिकहरुको निर्णय नै लागु हुन्छ । यदी भोलिका दिनमा कान्तिपुर मिसन पत्रकारीताको रुपमा कुनै प्रधानमन्त्री विरद्ध हिजोका दिनमा तुल्सि गिरीको विरुद्धमा खनिए झै खनिने हो भने के होला । त्यो बेला राज्य प्रधानमन्त्रीले हैन कान्तिपुरले चलाउन बेर छैन । अनी कस्लाइ प्रधानमन्त्रीमा टिकाउन वा नटिकाउने त्यो न दलको निर्णयमा भर पर्छ न जनमतमा नै । त्यसैले हाम्रो कामना कान्तिपुर लोकतन्त्रलाइ बलियो बनाउन ब्यावसायिक बन्दै गएर पुरै व्यवसायिक चै नहोस् जस्ले नगद र आफनो स्वार्थको लागि राजनीतिक विचलन र एक पत्रिकाको निरंकुशता लादिन पुगोस् पाठकमा ।
   किनकी सय चोटि झुट पनि साचो हो भनेर सञ्चारमाध्ययमले प्रचार गर्ने हो भने त्यो सही नै सावित हुन पनि सक्छ ।

   ya the major culprit behind the failure of the constitution on 90 is … non other than Girija…. i was depressed when i hear in the victory rally of 12 baisakh when i heard that 7 party agreed in the name of GIRIJA for prime minister …the person who is the major responsible for the downfall of democracy than king, has been nominated by the seven party alliance….. .I believe till he is alive nothing could be of this country …..
   Country needs a foresighted premier.nor a hawaldaar like GIRIJA

7. Please publish the pictures of the two women supposedly leading the rally in a new thread. Mark the one who used to come to you claiming to be Nikshya Shumsher’s party cadre. Now we should launch a media campaigne to publish close-up pictures of those involved in these sort of rallies around Kathmandu. It is just like when we published close-up pictures of security personnel involved in atrocities during People’s Movement 2. This is one solution to handle the situation. All this sort of Mandale Loktantra should stop!!!

    Do you believe that children never lie and if they lie, they won’t be able to lie properly? They will make mistakes which we easily figure it out. And did you see the interview taken with a child who was on incident site, and it was shown in the news of Nepal 1 and image channel? According to that child the police short Mr. Rakesh Gurung (player) with which he fell down and again that police personnel caught him and shot him second time at point blank. So how can you say that the police was defending himself. Gurung was not holding any weapon and he was shot again when he was already unconscious. How can you defend a responsible person like police who was paid by the peoples sweating income and he was supposed to protect the life of the people of the nation. If this had happened in Middle East he would have been burnt alive in front of public.

    Now we have to see the committee formed within police itself will bring the fair news.

    Girija is the main culprit in present situation of nepal.

    Moreover, Nepali Congress is the main barrier in the rapid development of country. 90 percent of the present parliamentarians are likely lose their political career once the parliament is dissolved. the political structure is likely to change. Therefore, Nepali Congress especially is against to the way for the political deadlock or for not dissolving parliament.

    Most congressmen are the lover of chakari. NEITHER THEY KNOW WHAT FREEDOM IS, NOR THEY PREFER TO BE FREED FROM CHAKARI.

21. We have too many reactionary forces in Nepal. We cannot see any organised political system or party. People are all the time presenting themsellves as rebelians. In this unstable situation there are lot of criminal minded people who wants to make worst out of the situation. All the wise people should be aware of such dirty criminal activities. Lot of this will continue due governments in capacity to deal with the mandale. Government is not keen in consolidating the power base based on popular mandate when everybody busy in their own little dark dirty game these rampant mob will be seen more frequently.
    I think time has come that nepalese start behaving like civilised society rather than to demonstrate the jungle’s rule. It will further give power to palace conspiracy and hope that is last thing Nepalese will want at this political juncture.

    ४) अबको नेपाली समाज राजनीतिकरुपमा शान्त हुन गाह्रो छ किन कि माओबादी, अमाओबादी, राजाबादी, लोकतन्त्रबादि, जातिय स्वशासनबादि, समानुपातिक अधिकारबादि, इत्यादि इत्यादिबादिहरुलाइ सहमतिमा ल्याउनु भनेको बाघ चढेर शयर गर्नु जस्तै जोखिम र जेलिएको धागो भन्दा जटील छ । त्यसमाथि सामाजिक शान्ति, जहाँ उँचनीच, जातभात, धनी गरीब, बिद्वानहरु-पटमुर्खहरु, आस्तिक नास्तिक, जस्ता सबैखालेहरु मिलेर बस्नु जरुरी छ, को वातावरण कायम गर्न त ईन्द्रेको बाउ चन्द्रे आए नि ल्याउन सक्दैन ।

    ५) जहाँ बुद्धिमत्तापूर्ण बिचार, तर्कसंगत अवधारणा, गम्भीर बिश्लेषण आदिको अबहेलना हुन्छ, त्यहाँ भैसि धपाउने लाठिले मात्रै काम गर्छ । ज्यानको माया सबैलाइ हुन्छ, कञ्चटमा बन्दुक तेर्सिन्छ है भन्ने थाहा भएमा खतरा मोल्न कोहि चाहन्न।

    ६) यो सबै कुरो बिचार गर्दा, नेपालमा अब सबैको हातहातमा बन्दुक हुन जरुरी देखिन्छ । त्यसो भयो भने सबैले सबैजना सित डराउनु पर्ने हुन्छ, अलि अलि अपराध बढ्छ, तर सबैको स्वाभिमान पनि बढ्छ । अनि, ज जसलाइ जो जो सित बदला लिनु पर्ने हो लिन्छन, कुरै सकियो ।

26. I really don’t wanna write any comment anymore over here. But this time I feel such an urge that I cannot stop myself. My be there is no sensible comment here or are they too few which are lost in the midst of non-sense.

    My point is we nepalease have fantasized about the glory days after the revolution. We came to the street with such high hopes that we all wanted to be perfect. We beleived in it so strongly that we are still beleive everything will be perfect. Not just ordinary illeterate folks but everybody- including journos, doctors, police, everybody —

    I visited Nepal this June and that was the thing that I noticed and this is one of the consequence that I am seeing these days. On top of that, people have stopped thinking and start beleiving everybody. May be it is good to say that people start beleiving others. But when it comes to the matters like this – VANDALISM — they should first think and act. If we as humans start not-thinking we will be lot worse than animal. This is what happening. The people who are there protesting against a media house just because it potrayed the image of a person in wrong way does not have sense. It is them who start beleiving the media house. And they can always write an article next day in another media to say that “kantipur is not a good media” if they can. There are so many other media house in kathmadu which want to wipe out the business of kantipur. kantipur will not get blow because people come there in the street saying kantipur did wrong. but it will get a big blow if all of its readers listners and viewers start discrediting it.

    Other reason is these people are unemployed and they might have been paid to get the protest going on out there against anything that will hinder this governments activity.

    May be it is another khukuri daal of 2007/2008/2009 BS era.

    Journos thought they are free to say anything — just anything in any manner they like. And after the revolution ended, it went so much to a degree against any royal related stuff that it must have made the “roayl” life so uncomforting that they were provoked. This might be there first reaction to it.

    so please stay calm until the constitution assembly election are hold. Please don’t be hypocritical. Please don’t do anything that might hinder the peace. And ultimately it is peace that people wanted fom there heart.

30. we are still in the jungle age. We nepalese don’t know honestly what is democracy and being a citizen what are the responsibilities and limits.

    Since we got power back to people we have seen very uneasy situations. Even for a small event we don’t hasitate to make it big. Why people are directing in that direction needed to be analysed in time otherwise who knows what next to happen. Government walks in the direction of foreigners and tatus. Girija gives order to chief of military to go for tour instead of going in investigation office where he was supposed to go. This girija is the big problem I have been praying for him to go as soon as possible to the GOD.
