गौरमा मानव भन्न लाज लाग्नु पर्ने गरी भएको अमानवीय, पाशविक हत्याको रगत सुक्न नपाउँदै तराईलाई जनतान्त्रिक तराई मुक्ति मोर्चाको ज्वाला सिंह समूहले “स्वतन्त्र राज्य” घोषणा गरेको छ। गौर काण्डका लागि जिम्मेवार मधेशी जनअधिकार फोरमको समर्थनमा विहारमा भारतीयहरुको सीमा जागरण मञ्चले धर्ना दिएको समाचारसँगै इमेलमा आएको ज्वाला सिंहको वक्तव्य देखेर छक्क परेँ। अब चाहिँ मलाई लाग्यो- तराईमा अशान्ति मच्चाउन सानोतिनो हैन, ठूलै षड्यन्त्र नियोजित रुपमा नै भइरहेको छ। अब देशै टुक्रने स्थिति आइपर्यो भनेर सेना परिचालन गर्ने र त्यही निहुँमा राजालाई सक्रिय बनाउने खेल त भइरहेको हैन ? वैशाख १ गते आउँदैछ, राजाले नयाँ वर्षको सन्देशमा यही निहुँमा केही गर्ने त हैनन् ?
ज्वाला सिंहको वक्तव्य हेर्ने हो भने देश टुक्रिसकेको छ। वक्तव्यमा “गणतन्त्र स्वतन्त्र तराई राज्य”को घोषणा गरिएको भनिएको छ। त्यसैगरी स्वतन्त्र तराई राज्य र तराई सरकारको घोषणा भइसकेको र त्यसलाई मोर्चाले सशस्त्र तवरबाट रक्षा गर्ने भनिएको छ।
त्यति मात्र हो र, स्वतन्त्र तराई राज्यका प्रदेशहरु पनि तोकिएको छ- थारुवान प्रदेश, अवधि प्रदेश, भोजपुरी प्रदेश र मिथिला प्रदेश रे। अब त्यही तराईभित्र वृहत् राजनैतिक मोर्चा बनाई गोलमेच सम्मेलन र तराईभित्र संविधान सभाको निर्वाचन गर्ने रे। नेपालीहरुको अौपनिवेशिक शासन र शोषण तथा पीडाबाट मुक्त भई विश्वको सामु नयाँ गणतन्त्र देशको रुपमा उदय भएको रे।
यो त अति नै आपत्तिजनक र कुनै पनि राष्ट्रवादीले सहन गर्न सक्ने कुरा हैन। सबैभन्दा पहिला हामी नेपाली हौँ। हामी नेपालका बासिन्दा हौँ। हामीबीचको कुरा हामीले नै मिलाउनु पर्छ। घरभित्रको कुरा, अधिकारलाई घरभित्रै मिलाउनु पर्छ। घरै टुक्राउने, नेपाललाई नै टुक्राउने अभिव्यक्ति दिनेलाई हामीले कसरी लिने होला ?
यदि यी समूहहरुले उनीहरुले भने झैँ ‘नेपालीहरुको अौपनिवेशिकताविरुध्द” लडेको भए यत्रो वर्षसम्म कहाँ थिए उनीहरु ? किन त्यतिबेला यिनीहरुको एक शब्द पनि उठेन ? किन देश संक्रमण कालमा रहेको बेला, कमजोर भएको बेला उनीहरु अलग्ग राष्ट्रको घोषणा गर्छन् ? कसको स्वार्थ पूरा गर्दैछन् उनीहरु ? आफूलाई नेपाली भन्न पनि किन रुचाउँदैनन् उनीहरु ? किन संक्रमण कालको सरकारले संघीय राज्यप्रणालीमा जाने प्रतिवद्धता गर्दागर्दै पनि उनीहरु मान्दैनन् ?
अब हामीले मानौँ या नमानौँ- आफैले आफैलाई ढाँटेर बसे मात्र हो, नभए नेपालमा जातीय हिंसा सुरुवात भइसक्यो। यसले श्रीलंकाको जस्तो कहिले नटुंगिने हिंसाको भुमरीमा हाम्रो प्यारो नेपाललाई धकेल्न सक्छ। श्रीलंकामा देख्नुभयो हैन, युद्धविराम कसैले भंग गरेका छैनन्। तर ४००० जना मरिसकेका छन्। लिट्टे पनि हवाई आक्रमण गर्छ सेनामाथि, सेना पनि गाउँमा बम खसाउँदै हिँड्छ।
हामी कहाँ पनि अब घोषित रुपमा नै पृथकतावादी समूह जन्मिएको छ। विश्वको इतिहासमा हेर्ने हो भने पृथकतावादी संघर्ष सँधै नै रक्तपातमय हुने गरेको छ- इतिहासमा अमेरिकालाई हेर्नुस् वा वर्तमानमा रुसको चेचेन पृथकतावादी संघर्ष। ज्वाला सिंह समूहले नेपाललाई पनि त्यस्तै रक्तपातपूर्ण संघर्षमा धकेलेको छ।
तर पख्नुस्, सँधै नकारात्मक कुरा मात्र नगरौँ, नसोचौँ। सकारात्मक कुरा के छ भने तराईमा त्यस्तो हुँदा पनि अरु क्षेत्रमा बसेका मधेशीहरुमाथि बदलास्वरुप कसैले केही गरेका छैनन्। सबै मिलेर नै बसिरहेका छन्। तराईमा पनि त्यसरी मिलेर बस्नुपर्ने सोच राख्ने धेरै छन्।
जब कसैको स्वार्थमा पहाडमा बसेका मधेशीमाथि पनि आक्रमण हुन थाल्छ, तब भने नेपाल जातीय हिंसाको दलदलमा भासियो भनेर सोचे हुन्छ। यसतर्फ अहिले नै सचेत हुन जरुरी छ।

Upendra Yadav and Jwala Singh are Indian directed Tiger of a caramboard. Where and when India targets to hit, they do the same. The series of events in terai are some good examples. They have no any clear vision to solve the terai’s proble. They are not political leaders. Then why different medias are highlighted them as political leaders. If the situation goes like this way, terai people should punish them and bycot them. As I understood, government is not willingness to punish them. It is because there is a good relationship among them. And the other region is to weeken the positive impact of Maoist in the society. Therefore there may be directly of indirectly linkage of government in Gaur event also. If they were not involved, they would do some strong action aganst the culprists. If you (Giraja) are thinking like that way, I am sure, people will punish you too together with Upendra Yadav and other culprists.
Firstly can jwala singh be hang till death.
I use to think why hang till death or leathel injection is there but now i realised that this should be there and jwala singh deserves that GIRIJA do something or else people will do something before you realize its too late.
This is another sign that current government has completely lost trust of madheshi people and there will be no peace till this government is changed. This should not mean return of royal regime rather more democratic and transparent government. This government does not want to negotiate with madheshi’s and want to pass legislation without any negotiated settlement hoping no one will have to bear personal responsibility for what happens under their wings.
This systematic campaign to undermine madheshi leadership and name-calling reflects stupedity and desparation of many begots and will further strenthen the resolve of madheshi’s to fight. There is no prosecution and conviction yet, though everyone seem to have passed their judgement. This is the attitude and deeds that madheshi’s have to deal with and will pave the way for future of madheshi movement.
Do no panic,
Jwala sing is always doing his best to distablise the situation, and this latest move is not a surprise. The only problem is with the government which is vitually not functioning well and the most trusted “Girija” is not transparent enough and seem is not trustworthy enough. Delays in implementing original mandates will be a breeding ground for more problems. This weakens the position of government and gives rise to instability in the country. Therefore, we all need to give support as well as pressure to the government so that situation can be meneded.
If some people don’t want Nepal, let them go out of Nepal (help them if they need!). Nepal was, is , and will be an untied Nepal forever.

This is a serious offence against the country and we should in no way allow these seperatists to raise their voice. And I believe there are not many people in Terai support these claims.Govt. must act and act now to address the legitimate issues raised by the Madhise people for their right. If govt. continues to ignore them, the situation may explode and the country might suffer disintegration.
Who are these seperatists?? How they emerge as a power in Terai?? Who are the inspiration behind them?? Who are supporting them morally,financially?? These issues must be taken care of. Govt. must not take this issue as small, irrelevant and impossible.
As I remember in 1997/98(forgot the year), when KP Bhattarai, as a prime minister of Nepal attended a UN summit and onthe way back he was interviewd by BBC. As more than 500 people were killed ,Nisha Pillai of BBC asked him , what govt. will do to quell such kind of serious offence against. He answered in typical manner and I quote” they are just a small irritant and would be solved easily as the number of maoists are very limited”. And now we know the devastating consequences of that ignorance now, people paid with their lives for the stupidity of these kind of pig headed and shortshighted leaders.
So, the point is, no matter it seems very unlikely that Jwala singh and co. would get success immediately but if it is not addressed promptly he certainly will. As he is also the former maoist and learned all the bloody tactics of his superiors, we should have no dubt that he will get lot of support later on by many sides such as Indian Madhises,may be some elements within Nepal.So we have take the matter with utmost priority and instead of avoiding it as KP did, we have to deal with it.
And what Mr Prachanda has to say in this regard, it is easy to fire a flame but when you do that you got to have plans to extinguish it.They did lit the fire by raising a seperatist issues like autonomy for all the ethnic groups in their terrorism days, this is just the outcome of it and prachanda must be held responsible. He cannot escape the scene after making people’s life hell. People will not forgive him for just blaming all the bad deeds to royalists and americans and opponents. It was him who started so called Swayatta Pradesh to devide a peaceful and united country. It was his vision to make a united nepal to limbuwan,tharuwan and somany other wans. They should provide a plan to solve the problem now.

Don’t worry.. It will subsides after some time. This is all about to outweigh their bargain; congress, Maoist,King and India. Basically, India want to show how much important he is. All leaders know that fact, but they can’t move like India want (and exactly they wish), because of perception of general Nepalese and political caders. The future scenario would be like: leaders will make concensus and will request India, and India will seize border. It will creat chaos, and people will start thinking again, King was far better to stand against India. Maoist and other leaders have to convience their caders saying the time is unsuitable to execute monarchy, and Let it be for future. And finally, there could be a concensus to continue monarch, headed by kid King.
After all, we have to kneel infront of the Great INDIANS. I wish Americans would be far better for us to kneel, than infront of Indians. Let’s give some advice to Prachanda.

I don’t surprised with this, this was expected. Maoist had initiated this division by seperating Rajya by race and language. We should have gone against curruption and SAMANTA BAAD not other BAAD. This issue is not only in Terai, some group has same slogan as Limbuwan,Tamuwan or Newaland in Pahadi area.Our society is becoming race based and no one is looking as one Nepal with all races. How could Kathmandu should be only for Newar, it is a capital city and must belong to all Pahadi and Madhesi.

It is much ridiculous. It is really hard time we all unite and do something above our self.

In western countries if any group declare separate states, the immidiate action will be to deploy military and take against the culprits. In our country, i am not sure why Girija a corrupt leader is still silent. Immiediate action needs to be taken in this matter as this is very very serious issue.

३)जन स्तर मै भएपनि चाइना सँग धेरै नाका हरु तयार गर्ने ।धेरै बाटो घाटओ लाइ चाइना सँग जोडने ।
४)काडे तार नेपाल ,ईन्डिया को सिमन बनाउने ।
५)अब सबै नेपाली ले बुद्द धर्म मान्ने ।
जाभार्जस्ती न गर्ने है ।साथी हो उग्र भएर लेख्ने,बोल्ने,मार्ने,टोड्फोड गर्ने बानी आजै देखि छोडौँ ।

Present government and Maoist should be clear about following:
1. Is really the King and India supporting Madhesi agitation?
2. Is Tarai people really want separate state?
3. Is eight parties care for Nepali people?
4. Do they come together and end the kingship in Nepal?
If India is backing ‘Forum’ then one day it will back bite India like Tamil Tigers did.

If they think that the terai region was colonized, then all 74 districts were colonized by Gorkha. It does not make sense at all. And who are they to declare a new state ? – just a bunch of punks ?.
