Guru Gobinda is 100% correct that we Nepalis have mentality to think that anyone other than me or my family are corrupt. This is wrong. Dead wrong.
Last April, there is a shooting in Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA. 32 people shot dead by one fanatic person. First shooting occured 2 hours earlier than the start of 2nd killing spree by same man. The 2nd killing spree could have been stopped or minimized if the university has cancelled all classes.
In the aftermath, the Virginia Tech community was united then forever. They certainly had some disagreement and disappointment, but they stood firm and united, and they did not go to attach university President’s office, and they did not even crticize the university administration,and they stood behind the university. I just could not imagine. If it was Nepal, the university would have been burnt down to ashes. Did you note down that Akhil leaders went to Finance minister’s office and broke chairs and vandalized his office. Why did they go to FM’s office, because they were politically supporters of Pradip Nepal, the Education Minister, and he recently told that his ministry did not have enough budget,and these students went to pressurize FM to put more money on education ministry, and on behalf of another minister. I can see the contrast between students in Virginia Tech, and in TU. You know, J. Cafferty of CNN was so impressed by the courage that the VT students have shown in the aftermath of 32 deaths, and he said that he is very optimistic that this country’s next generation will not let this country go down, and they will do very good in future.
But, the comments here, and the way student leaders act in Nepal, makes me frighten that whether Nepal will remain in the current state if not better, if our youngs’ have such poor mentality, poor perception, and porr action “character assissanation, or political vandalism or vigilantism”. I am not sure whether any educated or honest people will be left out in Nepal? When someone honestly tells that he has this much of loan, you do not have courage to accept it. What would have made his statement better? You people will see Sujata who bought Rs. 135,000 equivalent hand bag, Rs. 40,000 equivalent Chasma… heading to become PM, or RCP who went to Jail, had TB in his young age, and still tells the truth about his financial situation, be villified? Is this fair? Do you see future in our youngs’ next generation Nepal?
You should change your thinking habit. Take things positively, if you are not sure don’t speak wait until the truth comes out. Don’t be part of hallai halla ko desh ko janata. Look for the facts. Loktantra is for Informed Decisions. Be informed. Do some research and don’t believe no matter who says, unless your consciousness agrees with it. You can make your future only if you start to think and act positively.

I disagree how you portrait Ram Chandra Paudel as Raj Neta……. He is not a Raj Neta and I can not imagine him being a Raj Neta. Here is why.
1) Paudel was the key reason why NC got split. During the split, until the very end, Paudel supported Deuba. Later he joined GP because GP promised him General Secretary Post. It was just dirty and selfish politics. Very shameful.
2) Paudel quit DPM/Home Minister Post when the government needed him the most. Army had just moved to Holleri. Once Paudel resigned, army virtually stopped cooperating the government. As a result, Koirala had to go and this paved way for Deuba.
3) Paudel has been working hands on with notorious Govinda Raj Joshi, who also hails from Tanahun. Paudel may not be as corrupt as Joshi but certainly he has accumulated millions of illegal wealth.
He is screwed-corrupt politician. Paudel has put his personal ego and politics above national interest. I have no respect to this “filthy rich”. Now he says he has 1 kror loan. That is a BS. He just wants to legitimize his ill earned money.
He has logway to go for “Raj Neta”.

I agree with Guru Govinda. RC Poudel deserves to have some amount of savings and properties too. In terms of loan, it’s his private matter and we can’t say how much he owned from others without judging the reality. Most of the so called ‘Pradeshi’who live in abroad and earning money they don’t understand the reality of the country. Neither they can contribute the country in any way nor they can see any people contributing to the country. I judge the commenters in this blog, use rubbish language, no respect to anyone, and most of them think they are superb. In fact, they are the people with negative attitudes only.

I read almost comments blaming our political readers. I am not a student of psychology. But I believe in psychology much. In our area, South Asia as whole, we governed by thought like that innocent person, pure person, do not involve in politics. In stead of politics such people involve in teaching or other type of jobs that dont require cheating and cunning. In politics cheating is common thing as well as cunning. I am not talking here politics of developped country. I am talking of politics of Nepal and South Asian countries.
For we people, politics is taken as granted as the means of looting state treasure.Until now our politicians since the time of Prithvinarayan Shah rulers played the role of looter and rulers side by side. No pure personality ruled our country. Ranas monoplolized whole state treasure. Mahendra monopolized. Birendra Monopolized. Gyanendra monopolize for a while.Parliamentarians looted. It is our part of history. Let us say it is our DNA. We may not be aware in our own DNA. Now people tried to block this ugly trend. Regulaions are made. egulations made difficult to loot treasure.Politicians are governed by thought of looting treasure. They make up some other way to loot treasure.They are bound to loot.
My opinion,
In transition of Prajatantra in 1989, parlimentarians did not punished Panchas. Just because they themselves are thinking of looting. Everybody knows they repeated the history of looting.
All corrupted parliamentarians including Girija are seating in power.Who is going to punish them how is it possible. Our rule of law is very fragile. Millions and Millions are money coming in the name of peace process. Where has gone that money. Who is going to audit? For we Nepalese people we have a
difficult home work in national level to grow pure minded politicians. To make politicians disciplained Malik and Raymajhi reports are needed to put in implementation at least. Real punishment teaches the lessons.

Specially during DASHAIN we usee to see the government vehicle in white plate carrying all family , relatives and servant and use to come for shoping. we use to talk, how the hell these people can misuse government vehicle by carrying family and come for shoping????

He is very honest and clean leader of Nepal notnly NC. He was minister for long time in the first government of GP Koirela after that he became speaker of Parlimentary House for five years and then he is minister. He is MP from 2048 BS regularly. So it is very simple that he could have such amount of property and debet. It is true that our all politican are getting some CHANDA from businessmen but it is not like to say all of them are corrupted.
If we say he is corrupted then who is non corrupted leader in Nepal.

राम चन्द्रे र सिता राम मा के फरक छ? मैले बुझ्न नसकेको कुरा के भने नि सिता राम ले आफ्नो ब्यान्क बाट मित्तल ग्रुप जस्ता धनि ब्यबसयि हरु लाइ बिना धितो ऋण दिदा पुरै नेपाल उसैले नै कन्गाल बनैदिएको जस्तो गरेर सबैले खैरो खने. बिचराले एक सब्द पनि स्पस्तिकरन दिने मौका पाएन. तर पनि पत्रिकाहरुमा आएको कुरा हेर्दा उसले आफ्नो प्राइवेट ब्यन्क बाट आफुले पत्यएको मान्छेलाइ बिना धितो ऋण दिदा रास्ट्र ब्यन्क्ले ( अदालत्ले पनि होइन) अपचलन गर्यो भनेर आरोप लगाउदा यो रडाको मच्चियो र उ नया नेपाल्को एक न को अपराधि घोसित गरियो ! स्मरणिय रहोस्, एहा अमेरिकामा बिना धितो सबैले ऋण पाउन सक्छन . ऋण लिनेले तिरेन भने रिस्क तेहि ब्यन्क ले नै लिन्छ, त्येसैले ऋण लिने दिने कुरा स्वबिबेक को कुरा हो. एसो हेर्दा उस्ले बढि नै गरेको थियो भनेनि शेयर होल्डर हरुले उसलाइ कार्बहि गर्ने हो नि! नाफा भए पनि, घाटा भए पनि उनिहरुकै जिम्मा हो नि. रास्ट्र ब्यन्क वा सरकार्को काम त चहिने जति धरौति राख्न लगाउने हो नि. अब यहा राम चन्द्रे को ऋण को कुरा गरौम्. उसले मन्त्रि भएर खाने २५,००० को तलब पुरै उसको साहुलै बुझाउने हो भने उसले बर्ष मा ३ लाख साबा मात्र बुझाउन सक्छ. उसले एक करोड को ऋण को साबा तिर्न मात्र ३३-३४ बर्ष मन्त्रि हुनुपर्छ, ब्याज को कुरै छोडिदिउम्, त्यो त उसको पनतिको पालासम्म पनि भ्याउदैन. आर्थिक अपचलन वा घुष वा कुनै दुइ नम्बरि नगरिकन एस्ले कसरि ऋण तिर्न सक्छ ? अब भन्नुहोस्, राम चन्द्रे र सिता राम मा कुन ठुलो अपराधि? एउटा नया नेपाल्को एक न को अपराधि घोसित हुने, अर्को चहि एक न को मन्त्रि हुने ? ( नोट्- मैले सिता राम को समर्थन गर्न खोजेको होइन, नया नेपाल्को अपराध् को के परिभाषा हुन सक्छ भनेर कोट्टाएको मात्र हो. जोशि, गुप्ता, सुजता को त कुरै छाडिदिउम्.)

अर्को कुरा एमालेका लेखान्दास नेता मोद नाथ जी ले भन्या जस्तै तिर्न नपर्ने गरी उद्योगी , बेपारी सँग लिएको रिन होला । मैले त देखेको अनी भोगेको थिय कि – रिन त्यती बेला लीइन्छ जब एक कौडी गोजिमा पनि हुन्न र बैन्क मा पनि। नेपाली जनता लाई कस्तो बुद्धु बनाउन खोजेको छ भने बैन्क मा लाखौं बच् त् राखेर कसैले ब्याज तिर्नेगरी रीन लिन्छ होलार ? अली पत्याउने कुरा पो गर्नु पर्छ ।
