दीपक विष्ट अ‍ोलम्पिकका लागि छनौट

नेपाली खेलप्रेमीहरुका लागि खुसीको खबर- तेक्वान्दो खेलाडी दीपक विष्ट आगामी वर्षको बेइजिङ अ‍ोलम्पिकका लागि छनौट भएका छन्। नेपाली खेलको इतिहासमा दीपक अ‍ोलम्पिकमा छनौट हुने दोस्रा खेलाडी हुन्। यसअघि संगीना वैद्य अ‍ोलम्पिकका लागि छनौट भएकी थिइन्। त्यतिबेला उनी दक्षिण एसिया कै पहिलो महिला अ‍ोलम्पिक क्वालिफायर बन्न सफल भएकी थिइन्। भियतनाममा भइरहेको एसियन क्वालिफाइङ खेलमा ८० किलोको क्याटेगोरीमा दीपक तेस्रो भएपछि अ‍ोलम्पिकका लागि छनौट भएका हुन्।
यसअघि अ‍ोलम्पिकमा नेपालको तर्फबाट सहभागिता जनाउनेहरु प्रतियोगिता जितेर नभई वाइल्ड कार्ड इन्ट्रीबाट सहभागी भएका थिए।

  28. Please edit your news, Sangina Vaidhya was not first south asian to qualified for the Olympic. She was the first south asian taekwondo player to be qualified for the olympil. any way congratulation deepak. best of luck we are looking for first ever official olympic medal. you can do it.

    May be the first selected Olympics representative is Mr silwal in Marathon. Thats why Mr bista is not second, may be third or…. Please share what is fact.

  53. lekheko ko namileko ho ki lekhnelai taha nabhayeko ho. Yesh agi thuparai nepali manche haru le olympic ma participate bhai sakeka chhan. The first time they participate was back in 1964. Bidhan Lama is the first one to won bronze medal in Olympics.
