हामी स्कूलमा पढ्दा दुई जना पात्र थिए। अहिले नाम नलिउँ होला- दुवै विदेशमा छन् अनि प्रतिष्ठित पनि छन्। एक जना झनक्क रिसाउने खालको थियो। अर्को भने छिनछिनमा त्यसलाई जिस्काइरहन्थ्यो, उत्तेजित बनाइरहन्थ्यो। यी दुईको झगडाले हामीलाई कम्ता टाउको दुखाएको थिएन। त्यो त एउटा सानो स्तरको कुरा थियो। तर अहिले माअोवादी र सेना बीच चलिरहेको वाकयुद्धले त देशैलाई प्रभावित बनाउँछ। दुई मध्ये एक भडकिए भने शान्ति प्रक्रिया नै बिथोलिन्छ। भनेर के गर्नु, दुई बीच वाकयुद्ध चलेको चल्यै छ। सोमबार भएको सात दलको आमसभामा प्रचण्डले भावावेशमा आएर चिच्याउँदै गाली गरेको देख्दा त छक्कै परेँ।

एउटा राष्ट्रिय स्तरको नेताले त्यसरी बोल्नु ठीक थियो कि थिएन, आ-आफ्नै विश्लेषण हुन सक्छ। तर मेरो विचारमा चाहिँ त्यसरी आवेशमा आउनु उचित थिएन। संयमित हुनुपर्थ्यो। यसको मतलब सेना प्रमुखले भनेको मात्रै ठीक थियो भन्ने हैन। सेना समायोजनको कुरा सहमति अनुसार हुनुपर्छ। माअोवादी सेनालाई सेनामा मात्रै समायोजन गर्नुपर्छ भन्ने छैन। प्रहरीमा गर्न सकिन्छ, सशस्त्रमा गर्न सकिन्छ, अरु वैकल्पिक व्यवस्था गर्न सकिन्छ। पहिलेका सेना प्रमुखले त प्रस्तावै राखेका थिए योग्यता पुगेकालाई सेनामा लिन सकिन्छ भनेर। योग्यता पुगेकालाई त्यसो पनि गर्न सकिन्छ। सीधै समायोजन गर्न सकिँदैन भन्नु निहुँ खोज्नु हो। उनीहरुलाई फेरि जंगल जा भन्दै अर्को द्वन्द्व निम्त्याउनु हो। हामी द्वन्द्व चर्काउने हैन, समाधान गर्ने तर्खरमा छौँ। श्रीलंकाको वर्तमानबाट हामीले सिक्नु पर्छ कसरी त्यहाँ टुंगोमा पुग्न लागेको शान्तिवार्ता कट्टरपन्थीहरुका कारण फेरि युद्ध भडकिएको छ। सेना कुनै वाद र दलसँग नजिक हुनुहुँदैन भन्नेहरुले त्यसमा राजावादीहरुको चलखेललाई नजरअन्दाज गर्नुहुँदैन। तर सेनामा लोकतन्त्रवादी राष्ट्रवादीहरु पनि छन्। सेना समायोजन अहिले गरिहाल्ने कुरा पनि हैन। संविधान सभाको निर्वाचन हुन लागेको बेला यो बखेडा झिक्ने बेला नै हैन।

Ugly manner? You seem to be a die hard supporter of Prachanda. It’s very sad. I will never forgive that man. He has caused me so much of trauma.I lost my people, and I had to leave my home…I will never forget it.Of course it was not himself, but his stupid followers, who neither have any commonsense nor ethics. Why was that bloody war necessary? Why he (educated person) pursuaded innocent youth towards unachievable communist dictatorship? I can never agree that he started revolution to throw the king. That was just tactical thing, they adopted for safe landing after 2-3 years of war. (look, he always distanced himself from political leaders than King. Even now everyday he meets with King’s people like Rameshnath pandey,,,,,,,,. Prachanda is a biggest criminal (unfortunately, disguised as a leader), I have ever known. Almost 90% of the Nepal’s current political problems are due to his bloody war, and his teaching during these 10-12 years. If he were not there Nepal would be a much prosperous peaceful democratic country today. We lost so much of opportunities during these years of economic boom of our neighbours.Most of the bright people already left or are leaving their homes and homelands.This loss can never be compensated. When will be a harmony again? Not soon. He hopes that Janga Bahadur will bring peace in Nepal. What a mentality yaar?

There is also a psychological factor at play here, for the sake of peace the army should not reject integration out right. Cadre politics within the Maoist just would not allow is leaders to be seen to accept the role of a defeated PLA senior commanders will probably drift into politics any way, and some battle-hardend warriors could be useful to the national army.
The best compromise could be to set up a seperate rapid development force made up of both armies for border patrols, industrial security and to gaurd the national parks.

Every body should stop the debate on over army integration before election.
This way i see it.
But the polls every one’s ‘studying at the moment do not accurately address this’essue’.How voters view the parties to day is not now they are going to view them in april. Once a candidate gains the nomination he or she is transformed into an altogether different character. By looking at historical trends and appeal of each of current parties, one can come up with fair indication of who is likely to rise or fall in the constituent assembly election campaingn.
Assuming each of these candidates were to win his or her party’s nomination,here, in order,is an assessment of their chances of winning a election.

3. The issue I have raised is not for myself to compare between Madan Bhandari and Prachanda, rather for the commentators to discuss on the particular speeches from them, one in the past and another recently.

नेपाल प्रहरीमा मात्रै होइन, कांग्रेसी विद्रोही सेनालाई शाही नेपाली सेनामा पनि समायोजित गरिएको थियो। सेनामा मुक्ति सेनालाई शुरुमा रणदल गणमा राखिएको थियो। सैन्य स्रोतका अनुसार मुक्ति सेनालाई छाउनीमा राखेर ट्रेनिङ दिइएको थियो। सेनामा समाहित गरिएका मुक्ति सेनालाई करिब एक दशकसम्म होमगार्डका रूपमा खटाइए पनि २०१८ सालतिर राजा महेन्द्रले उनीहरुलाई पूर्ण सैनिक बनाई तीनवटा बटालियनमा खटाएको एक सैन्य अधिकारी बताउँछन्। कांग्रेसबाट आएका राजनीतिक लडाकुहरु सम्मिलित ती तीनवटै बटालियनको कमाण्डिङ गर्ने शाही सैनिकहरु प्रधानसेनापति बनिसकेका छन्। जस्तै मुक्ति सेना समायोजन गरिएको बर्दबहादुर गणको कमाण्डिङ धर्म पालवरसिंह थापाले गरेका थिए भने सिंहनाथ गणको कमाण्डिङ प्यारजङ्ग थापाले गरेका थिए। त्यस्तै हालका प्रधानसेनापति रुक्माङ्गद् कटवालको सेना मानिने पशुपतिप्रसाद गणमा पनि राजा महेन्द्रले मुक्ति सेनालाई समायोजन गरेका थिए। करिब ०४४–४५ सालतिर कटवाल स्वयं पशुपतिप्रसादमा राजनीतिक लडाकुहरुको कमाण्डिङ गर्दथे। तर, उनी आफैं भने कांग्रेसको लडाकू दस्ताबाट आएका होइन्। यसरी, विद्रोही सेना सम्मिलित तीनवटै पल्टनका हाकिमहरु प्रधानसेनापति बनेको उदाहरणले पनि नेपाली सेना र विद्रोही सेनाबीचको समायोजनलाई संभव बनाइदिएको छ। अझ मुक्ति सेना समाहित पशुपतिप्रसाद गणको कमाण्डिङ गरेर आएका रुक्माङ्गद्ले सेनालाई राजनीतिकरण गर्न दिइन्न भन्नु भनेको आफैंले टेकेको ठाउँ बिर्सनुसरह हो भन्ने टिप्पणी एक सैनिक अधिकारीले जनआस्थासित गरे।
सैनिक सूत्रको दाबी के छ भने नेपाली कांग्रेसको मुक्ति सेनाबाट समायोजित भई आएका विद्रोहीमध्येबाटै दुई व्यक्ति लेफि्टनेन्ट कर्णेलसम्म बनेका छन्। त्यसरी ले. कर्णेल बन्नेहरुमा डोनस ग्रान्डोनलगायत रहेको बताइन्छ।
राजा महेन्द्रले २०१७ सालमा ‘कू’ गरेपछि जेलभित्रैबाट कांग्रेस नेता वीपी कोइरालाले के निष्कर्ष निकालेका थिए भने प्रजातन्त्रको भविष्य सुनिश्चित गर्ने हो भने सेनाको पुनर्गठन प्रजातान्त्रिक ढङ्गबाट गरिनुपर्दछ र नेपाली कांग्रेसलगायतको प्रजातान्त्रिक दलले पनि आफ्नै सेना बनाउनुपर्दछ। शाही सेनाले सधंै राजालाई सहयोग गर्दै प्रजातन्त्रको गला रेट्ने राजनीति बोकेको निष्कर्ष वीपीले निकालेका थिए। सेनासम्बन्धी उनको १० सूत्रीय निचोड ‘जेल जर्नल’ नामक आत्मकथामा पढ्न पाइन्छ। वीपीले सेनालाई प्रजातान्त्रिकरण अर्थात् राजनीतिकरण गर्नुपर्नेमा मुख्य जोड दिएका थिए। संभवतः वीपीले भनेजसरी २००७ सालपछि सेनाको मुख्य कमाण्ड राणा–शाहीहरुको हातबाट खोसेर मुक्ति सेनाको कमाण्डिङमा ल्याएको भए सेनाले पटक–पटक राजालाई साथ दिँदैनथ्यो र प्रजातन्त्रमाथि बुट बजार्दैनथ्यो।
तर, तिनै वीपी कोइरालाका भाइ प्रधानमन्त्री गिरिजाप्रसाद कोइराला यतिबेला सेनालाई लोकतान्त्रिकरण गर्ने कुराको विपक्षमा छन्। राजाको निरंकुशतालाई खुलेआम साथ दिने जर्नेलहरु यतिबेला सैन्य समायोजनको विरोध गर्दैछन् भने रक्षा मन्त्रीका रूपमा रहेका कोइराला त्यसैलाई समर्थन गरिरहेका छन्। तर, प्रम कोइराला र प्रधानसेनापतिका यी अभिव्यक्तिहरु वीपी कोइरालाको निष्कर्षभन्दा ठीक विपरीत रहेको प्रतीत हुन्छ।
सेना समायोजनको एक सैन्य अधिकारीले जनआस्थासित भने–’विद्रोही सेनालाई समायोजन गर्न सकिन्छ। उनीहरुलाई समायोजन गरिएन भने द्वन्द्व समाधान हुँदैन। सेना समायोजनका लागि केही समय लाग्नसक्छ र यसको प्रक्रिया निकै जटिल चाहिँ अवश्यै छ।’ तर, नेपालमा कति सेना, प्रहरी चाहिन्छ भन्नेबारे सुरक्षासम्बन्धी राष्ट्रिय योजना र संयन्त्र बनाउन आवश्यक छ र सेनालाई समायोजित एवं लोकतान्त्रिक बनाउन आवश्यक छ।’

तपाईले यो बुझने की नै? माओबादी ले बंदूक को आड़ मा सम्पूर्ण राज्य सत्ता कब्जा गर्न खोजेको हो की हैंन ?सम्पूर्ण राज्य संरचना लाई अफ्नो समानांतर सरकार को गठन गरेर चुनौती दिएको हो की हैन? किना अहिले भाग बन्दा को राजनीति मा आयो; त्यों पानी सम्शादीय प्रणाली मा भाग बंडा को फोहोरी राजनीति मा झारेको कुरा लाई कुन जित सम्झानु भा छ? माओबादी ले सम्पूर्ण पुरानो राज्य सत्ता समाप्ति भन्दै लडेको हो की हैंन?सम्पूर्ण रूप मा सेना र राज्य सत्ता लाई हराउने उद्श्य हो की हैंन? तेसो भए यो भाग बंडा मा ओर्लिनु तपाई को बिचार को समानांतर पाटो नै हो नि !! की हैन?सेना ले नसकेर हरे को भन्ने हो भने माओबादी को अबस्था पनी त्यही होइन र?
समझौता परस्त सेना हारेको हुने अनी समझौता परस्त माओबादी ले जितेको कसरी मान्नुहुन्छ?
तात्विक रूप मा कही परिबर्तन महसूस नगर्नु भए हुन्छ दीपेश जी; हिजो अधिकार मगेर नपाएको ले जंगल जाने हरु बंदूक को खेल संगै रगत को खेलो गर्न सके; उनिहरू नै आज तराई को समस्या हरु लाई भगौडा हरु र गुंडा हरु को आरोप लगाउदै दमन गर्नु पर्छ; र खरानी पारेर त्यों माथी टेकेर चुनाब गराउनु पर्छ भन्ने हरुले कुन संस्कार सीके? र कुन प्रजातांत्रिक संस्कार को संख घोस गर्दै छन?

मैले प्रचंड वा अरु कुनै नेता को जस्तो अफ्नो बचाऊ को लागी माओबादी सेनाको पक्ष्य मा बोल्नु पर्दैन; तर पनी त्यों सेना को बिकल्प खोजिनु पर्छ नै भंन्छौ; तर बिकल्प किन रास्ट्रीय सेना मात्र भन्ने शंका राजनीति को क ख जानने ले बहस गर्ने कुरा हो!!!!!
रास्ट्रीय शह मति भयो भने सबै ले स्वीकार गर्नु को बिकल्प छैन;
बहस को पाटो राजनितिक सेना को समायोजन रास्ट्रीय सेना मा हनु उपयुक्त हुने की नहुने भन्ने नै हो/ हालको सम्बिधान सभा भन्दा पर नेपाल को ठुलो आशा गर्न सकिने प्रजातांत्रिक पृष्ठ भूमि र निकै फराकिलो क्षितिज छ ! त्यों माथी कुनै पनी घुस पेठ बाट खतरा नहोस!!!

यो भाष्कर भन्नेमान्छे कटुवालको झड्केलो छोरो परेछ जस्तोछ नत्र किन यस्लसइ यति धेरै बर्बराउनु परेको हो। य भष्करे यदि तेरो कटुवाल सरकाको निर्देशन पालना गर्छभने किन राजनितिक कुरा फलाग्दै हिड्छ? सेना समायोजनको कुरा सरकाले गर्ने होकि कटुवालले? त्यो जन आन्दोलनको दोशि यतिबेला खोरमा बस्नुपर्ने अपराधि कटुवाल किन राजनिक भाषा बोल्दै होड्छ? भष्कर तिमि यदि डन्डा दिमागले सोच्न सक्थ्यौ भने एउटा राजनितिक नेतालाइ त्यति निच र तुच्छ गालि नगरेको भय ठिक हुने थियो होला । हो प्रचण्डले बोलेका केहि शब्द मलाइ पनि ठिक लागेन। के कटुवालले बोलेका शबै कुरा ठिक छ त?

प्रचण्डको विरोध गरेको भरमा वा राजा चाहिन्छ भन्ने भ्रममा तपाईँ हुनुहुन्छ भने पनि म तपाईँलाई मण्डलेको फतुर लगाउन चाहन्न । मेरो मण्डलेको दायरा भनेको मुखले गुलिया कुरा गर्ने तर प्रशासनको आडमा गुण्डागर्दि गर्ने कमल थापा, निच्छे समशेर र तिनका चण्ड मुण्ड र मुन्द्रेहरु हुन्, अनि आफ्नो स्वामी ज्ञानेन्द्र एण्ड कम्पनिको भजन गाउनेहरु हुन्, गणतन्त्र, सम्विधान सभाको विरोध गर्ने र सबै जात जाती र भाषा भाषीको अधिकारको कुरा गर्नेलाई साम्प्रदायीक र माओवादि देख्ने शच्चित समशेर र कमल थापा प्रवृतिका स्यालहरु हुन् । मेरो कामना छ तपाईँ ती मण्डले भित्र पर्नुहुन्न होला ।
तपाईँले राष्ट्रको रक्षक सेनालाई किन एउटा परिवारको गुलाम भनेको भनेर गुनासो गर्नु भएको रहेछ । ९० हजार सेना नेपाली गरिव दाजुभाइ दिदीवहिनीहरु मिलेर नै बनेको हो यसमा कुनै सङ्का छैन । त्यहि भएर नेपाली सेनामा रहेका सम्पूर्ण इमान्दार सैनिकहरुलाई हत्या गरेर समाप्त गर्ने वा जागिरबाट बर्खास्त गर्ने कुरा गर्छ भने त्यो दिवा स्वप्न मात्र हो, यो कुरा कुनै पनि विवेकशील मान्छेले र क्रान्ति गर्न तम्सिएका नेताहरुले वुझेकै हुन्छन् ।
तर सूर्य जी तपाईँले फ्रान्समा वा चीनमा र अन्य ठाउँमा भएको क्रान्तिहरुमा सेनाले क्रान्तिलाई दवाउन भुमिका खेलेको थियो नेपालमा त्यसो गरेन भन्नु भयो । यो तपाईँको एकदम मोटो विश्लेषण हो । कृपया अलि मिहिन विश्लेषण गर्न मेरो विनम्र अनुरोध छ । अहिले सम्म संसारमा भएका हरेक क्रान्ति वा प्रतिक्रान्तिमा कुनै एउटा पक्षले अर्को पक्षको सम्पूर्ण सेनालाई मारेर सिद्धाएको इतिहास चाहिँ मैले पढेको छैन । बरू तपाईँले पढेको भए मालाई जानकारी गराउनु होला । फ्रान्समा भएको वा चीनमा भएका क्रान्ति र घटनाहरुमा पनि सत्तामा रहेका सेनाले विद्रोहिलाई दवाउन भ्याए सम्म को बल प्रयोग गरेका थिए र नसके पछि आत्म समर्पण गरेका हुन्; यसलाई कुनै वेला फुर्सत भए र उमेसले स्थान दिए यहि व्लगमा श्रोत सहित चर्चा गरौँला (मेरो विषय इतिहास अध्ययन नभए पनि)। फरक यति हो कि कहिँ पूर्ण रुपमा आत्म समर्पण गरे कहिँ आंशिक रुपमा ।
नेपालको सन्दर्भमा पनि सेनाले भ्याए र सके सम्म दमन गरेको नै थियो । चाहे ७ सालमा होस वा १७ सालको महेन्द्र को कु वा ४६ साल वा माओवादि विद्रोह । त्यो तपाईँले नदेख्नु चाहिँ तपाईँ राजामा देवत्व देख्ने मनोविज्ञानको सिकार भएर पो हो कि ! ६२, ६३ को आन्दोलनमा सेनाले नेपाली जनता माथि माया गरेर दमन नगरेको हैन । दमन त गरेकै थियो तर जङ्गल र गाउँ बस्तीबाट माओवादि सेनाले धावा बोलेको र सहर बजारबाट बन्दुक नबोकेका तर कुटो कोदालो, हलो र लाठि बोकेका गाउँले जनता अनि, कलम र आवाज बोकेका पत्रकार, इन्जिनियर, डाक्टर,प्राध्यापक वकिल र कर्मचारीहरुले एकैपटक धावा बोलेका कारणले सेनाका दमनलाई र कर्फ्युलाई पनि खरानी बनाएको हो । तपाईँ त्यो समयमा नेपालमा नै हुनु हुन्थ्यो वा कोरियामा । यदि नेपालमा हुनुहुन्थ्यो भने सायद त्यो उठ्न लागेको क्रान्तिलाई आफैँले अनुभव गर्नु हुन्थ्यो । त्यो समयमा जनयुद्ध र जनविद्रोहलाई फ्युजन गर्ने रणनिति माओवादिको भएकाले यदि सेनाले ती सडकमा ओर्लेका लाखौँ जनतालाई दमन गर्न आफू पछाडि बसेर पुलिसलाई अघि सार्दै गोलि हान्न लगाउनको सट्टा आफैँले गोलि चलाउने दुस्साहसपूर्ण पागलपन देखाएको भए मान्नुहोस केहि दिनमा नै हज्जारौँ मान्छे मर्थे र ज्ञानेन्द्रको पनि अन्त्यस्टि क्रान्ति सँगसँगै हुन्थ्यो । त्यसकारण बरु ज्ञानेन्द्रका केहि अधिकारको वलिदानी दिएर भएपनि (सेनाका भारदारले राजाहरुको प्राणको वली चाढाउनु नेपाली राजतन्त्रको इतिहासमा नौलो कुरा पनि त हैन नि) सामन्ति राजतन्त्रको मुल अंशलाई सुरक्षित राख्ने उद्देश्यले नेपाली जनता सँग आंशिक रुपमा घुँडा टेकेको हो नेपाली जनताको साथ दिएको हैन । शेरवहादुर जस्ता वहादुरहरुले भन्ने हुन् जनताको साथ दिएको कुरा ।
त्यसकारण यहाँ सेनाको इतिहासलाई हेरेर विरोध गरेको हो, कुनै व्यक्ति विषेशको विरोध गरेको हैन । हिजो देश र नरेशको रक्षाको लागि प्रशिक्षित सेनालाई नयाँ ढंगले प्रशिक्षित गर्ने कुरा गरेको हो । हिजो जनआन्दोलनका अपराधिहरु ज्ञानेन्द्र, कमल थापा, रुक्माङ्गतहरुलाई कारवाहि गरेर दण्डहिनताको अन्त गर्दै सेनाका उच्च तहमा रहेका सामन्ती हत्यारा, तस्कर, हतियार र युद्धका कहि सय व्यापारीहरुलाई निस्कासन गरेर सम्पूर्ण इमान्दार नेपाली सेनाका सैनिकहरुलाई नयाँ ढंगले प्रशिक्षित गर्ने र १० वर्ष लडेर सामन्ति व्यवस्थालाई मृत्युशैयामा पुर्याउन भुमिका निभाएका ती गरिव नेपाली जनताहरु मिलेर बनेको जनमुक्ति सेनालाई पार्टि विषेशको सेना भन्दा माथि उठाएर राष्ट्रिय सेना वनाउने कुरा गरेको हो ।
प्रचण्डले अशिक्षित जनतालाई भोलि नै वहार आउने सुन्दर सपना देखाएको कुरा गर्नु भएको रहेछ । यो तपाईँको आफ्नो वुझाइ हो यसमा मैले प्रतिवाद गरिराख्नुपर्ने वा तपाईँलाई समर्थन गर्नु पर्ने आवस्यकता छैन । गरिव जनतालाई तिमीहरु शोषणमा छौ तर तिमीमा तागत छ भन्ने सिकाउनु गल्ति थिएन । १५ वर्ष रजाईँ गरेका कथित प्रजातन्त्रवादिहरुले गाउँ वस्तीलाई चुनावको वेलामा भोटको लागि मात्र सम्झे अरु तिनले माखो पनि मारेनन् । अनि सुतेका जनतालाई विउँझाउनु गल्ति थियो ?? अहिले पश्चिमका थारु कमैयाहरु सिँहदरवार सम्म आएर आफ्नो अधिकार माग्न सक्ने चेतना दिनु गल्ती हो । शेरवहादुर बढो धाक लगाउँछन् मैले कमैया मुक्त गरेँ भनेर, तर यो भुल्नु हुन्न कि कमैया मुक्ति को घोषणा माओवादि सँग पहिलो पटक वार्ता गर्ने पुर्वाधार तयारको लागि वातावरण बनाउने उद्देश्यले भएको थियो ।
कुनै महानुभावले १५००० नेपालीको हत्यारा भनेर आरोप लगाउनु भएको रहेछ । कृपया मृत्युको तथ्याङ्क आफैँ एकपटक हेर्नुहोस । १५००० मा लगभग ३००० माओवादिको तर्फबाट र १२००० सरकारी पक्षबाट हत्या भएको छ । यसलाई तथ्यपूर्ण तरिकाले प्रस्तुत गर्नु को सट्टा दुषित उद्देश्यले एकोहोरो भ्रम छर्नु हुन्छ भने तपाईँलाई फटाहा मण्डले प्रवृतिको भन्ने कि नभन्ने ?

What type of leader moist have.I am surprising with his speech why he accused to anybody why he always against the army. I rebembered one event when he spoke against the army and apologied after his remaks so he is again going to apologized about his speech saying that that wasnot pracanda that was Manoj Gajurel.
I am advising to all of you not to elect such illperson in the coming election who doesnot have any sense.How he will rule the contry. This type of anger will not work.Ask him to do some yoga which will help him.

I forgot to write that “whoever goes against Prachanda” is a MANDALE for you. I kindly request you to change your criteria of analysing people. Neverthless, Mandales are also a part of our society (I too can be a mandale in your view), but if you are really a LOKTANTRABAADI then you should be ready to accept different thoughts in a society with different ideologies. However, the one with decent democratic norms will be the hero. So, as you said, Mandales will be diminished, may be you are right. But this world is so charismatic you know. Pls don’t compare Prachanda with such a visionary leader like late Madan Bhandari. It will be too unfair. You can’t also compare their speeches. I listened the whole speech by Prachanda and tried to memorize the speech by Madan Bhandari when he had challenged the King from Khulamancha. No match. Madan was for pluralism,democracy and alwasy stood for people. He strongly believed in people’s movement, but peaceful. He understood the significance of movements in East Europe and rest of the world for democracy. Should he be alive to date, Prachanda would never appear in the political arena of the country this way. It’s a great tragedy for us….to have such leaders like Prachanda and Baburam. They misguided poor and illiterate nepalis to get their today’s position. Along the way they killed thousands of innocent Nepalis and still they are dreaming to rule the country by intimidating all others. I feel pity for their sympathizers… you are either too naive or too cruel….
It’s not the question whether Parchanda has to speak in this way,the main matter is whether a government (katwal)officer can give a political speech or not? If it could happen,why don’t they register Nepali Sena Party (Mandela) with president katwal in EC and all mandele’s in this blog can unite and have their own party.

Is it not right that all other party except Maosist were even not ready to change nepals constitution 2049 in first two peace talk with. They were not ready to hear word republic at that days. It was only the maosist who consistenly demanding for election for constitution assembly. so there should not be any doubt for maosist. During 046/47 Aandolan, Late Comrade Madan Bhandari had challenged then king Birendra to come out from his palace and contest in the election if he had interest in politics. How do you compare Madan’s speech and Comrade Prachanda’s recent speech? Are there any difference or similarities ? How do you compare the significances and consequenses of these two speeches which sound similar but one challenged the king of a country who was the over all boss but the other one although is the chief of army but under the peoples’government. मानौ नमानौ, म पनि आफुलाइ नेपाली काग्रेसको निकट मान्छु तर यो धम्की प्रचन्डले गिरिजा बाबु प्रति लक्षित गरेर भन्नु भएको हो र पनि म यसलाइ एकदम जायज मान्छु। कमसेकम गिरिजा ब्यक्ति गलत हुन म नेपाली काग्रेसको निकट छु भन्दैमा म गलत नेता र सही नेता छान्ने बेलामा ब्यक्तिको लागि सती जानेकुरा मा बिष्वास गर्दिन। मेरो एक भोट सही नेता लाइ (प्रचन्ड), र एक भोट सही सोच लाइ (democracy, nepali congress). This is the most challenging speech I have heard first time im my life. Prachanda has spent most of his life time in the jungle for politics. He has proved that he isnot crazy for power. This is the fantastic and challenge for Katuwal and the present powerless king Jyanendra. We need such leader like Prachand for our future.
This is really really inappropriate speeach. Prachanda’s speech is just like a speech deliverd by his low rank leaders. He is supreme leader of party but his speech is so low level and his word are very low level in completely inappropriate because of his post and position. Puspa Kamal Dahal had given very low grade speech, completely stupid without any sens which could give intertain for a moment of his so called similar people who do not have any vision.Anyway Dahal is a leader of people like kanchan Limbu, so we cannt except anything good from him.

Watching the video and hearing the leader of new Nepal, I can only say that the future of the new Nepal even looks more bleak. What a pity for our country.
I went through most of the comments given by various people. Most of them put their temper on “PRACHANDA” because he challenged Nepali military head’s statements about maoists military integration into Nepal army. But, what you guys think urself? you guys also responding to PRACHANDA what he did to SENAPATI. So, my question is whats the difference between you guys and PRACHNADA. Change urself first before you guys comment about others.
Politics is a dirty game. Senapati has no right to say anything about integration of Maoists military into Nepal army. If GIRIJA (virus) says something about it maybe accept even its political pacakage which they signed before. The way he was shouting, one can easily guess that Prachanda has High Blood Pressure and he is not normal. I advise him to lower his weight by dieting and doing exercises and controlling his emotions and anger. Othewise it will be harmful to his health and counterproductive to Maoist party ad Nepal.
the speech sounds alright to me. It’s little bit emotional, but not bad. Prachanda has pinpointed the core issue, that’s rukkmagat katuwal is doing politics; a politics to save monarchy. that politics of katuwal can’t be acceptable for the people who are eagerly waiting for constitutional assembly election. that’s the old politics of the royal army, it can’t be politics of new and democratic nepalese army. if the army wants to show non involvement in the politics, katuwal wouldn’t have speak such things. why on earth, the seven party was not very sensitive and strong on the issue that katuwal spoke. that’s weak point of the forces who fought for the democracy together. I was thinking they will more focus toward terai issues and talk about solving it through the table. But instead, their versions seemed nothing more than previous ideology of blaming game, and focusing toward bringing more worst situation in Nepal.

It is very provocative statement. The same thing clould be expressed in the subtle way but Prachanda’s statement is not merely emotional but very intentional. The poor Katuwal can not dare to do anything at this moment- staging a coup by the Nepal Army is politically a day dream. It can happen but it would be a boomerange. There was already horizontal crack on the Royal Nepal Army. Recently, it has been openly seen that virtical fragmentation is widening in the chain of command system of the Nepal Army.
This fragmentation is the political source of Prachanda to challenge Katuwal. If the basic strategy of the Maoists political trumpth is presently applicable to each and every entity of the Neplease society, Nepal Army can not set itself apart from it. Prachanda is strategically provocating top brass of Nepal Army so that they , he expects, may act dumb like a King Gyanendra. Maoist insistence to declare republic from parliament was primarily targeted to Nepal Army to be provocated.
What is the Maoist basic strategy? The kernel of Maoists movement was to politically agitate the janajati, dalit, madhise or socially ostracised group (which is the majaroty in the population) for thier representation and upliftment. This group also significantly represents the Nepal Army. This group in the Nepal Army can not resist the presure exerted from thier politically agitated constituency.
Katuwal’s hand who is assumed to be a stooge of Nar-Hiti is therefore tied.

I really do not like to talk much about individuals and their characteristics, at least at present.As people have gradually understood who is good and who is not.So it is wiser to do our main job and make things happen. If our enemy says something to excite us and we get excited, that may hamper our mind to maintain calmness.Now people want new revolution and it is not the time which can be fulfilled by these “ranasaheb or any babu saheb”. My earnest request is that we better be equipped with much knowledge and tactics so that we can win psychological war created by real enemies of people. Sometimes few words and silence work better and sometimes harsh criticism. It depends on situation.To my own view also, the kind of things Army chief talked about in the present context is not wiser style. It has not been liked even by other top army brass and think tank for peace process and development which we have already heard in news media. Now it further shows that how important it is to equip army with democratic and scientific thinking along with strong sense of nationalism , modern knowledge and professionalism.

What a childish behavior. Being one the famous Leaders in our nation he is expressing his views this way? This is like ‘Naglo thattayera hatti tarsaune’ style.
