एक सालको विजयादशमीका दिन काठमाडौँस्थित तत्कालीन राजा सुरेन्द्रले बुबाको बाहुलीबाट टीका लगाउँछु भनी घोडा चढी भादगाउँ पुगे। भूपू राजा राजेन्द्रले (त्यतिबेला उनले गद्दी त्यागिसकेका थिए) भादगाउँ दरबारमा छोरा राजा सुरेन्द्रको आदर सत्कार गरे। धेरै समय पश्चात् बाबुछोरा बीच भएको भेटघाटमा दुवै गदगद भए।
केही समयको गफसफपछि टिकाटालोका निमित्त टिकाको सामदाम याने टिकाको छाप्री बाबुछोराबीच राखिदिए। राजा सुरेन्द्रले बुबासँग टिका लगाइदिइबक्सियोस् भनी आफ्नो निधार थापे। भूपू राजा राजेन्द्रले “लौ! सरकार महाराजधिराज, म ढाक्रे! सरकारको बाहुलीबाट टिका मैले थाप्नु पर्छ” भनी निधार थापे।
राजा सुरेन्द्रले “लौ! हजुर बाबु, म छोरा, बाबुले छोरालाई टिका लगाइदिनु पर्छ” भने। अब बाबुले छोरालाई र छोराले बाबुलाई बारबार टिका लगाइदिन आग्रह गर्दै निधार थाप्न थाले। आखिर राजा सुरेन्द्रको टेम्पर लुज भइहाल्यो र “बाबु भएर छोरालाई टिका लगाइ दे भन्ने” भनी बाबुको निधारमा चिथरिदिए। अब भूपू राजा राजेन्द्रको पनि पारो चढिहाल्यो र ढाक्रेबाट बाबु बनी “ए! तँ छोरा भएर म बाबुलाई हात हाली चिथर्ने- ला तँलाई भनी राजा सुरेन्द्रको निधारमा चिथरी दिए।
यस प्रकार चिथराचिथर गरेबाट त्यहाँ उपस्थित व्यक्तिहरुले दुवै बाबुछोरालाई छुट्याई निधारभरी घाउ पारी रगतैरगतको टिका लगाई राजा सुरेन्द्र काठमाडौँ फर्के।
सिंहासन त्याग (abdicate) गरेका राजा राजेन्द्रको छोरा श्री ५ सुरेन्द्रभन्दा करिब दुई महिनापछि मृत्यु भएको हो। श्री ५ सुरेन्द्रको अनेक अोरिजिनल फोटो पाइन्छ तर abdicate राजा राजेन्द्रको अोरिजिनल फोटो कतै पाइएको छैन। फोटो खिचाउनका लागि आग्रह गरेमा म ढाक्रेले किन फोटो खिचाउनु पर्यो, खिचाउन्न भनी फोटो नखिचाउने गर्थे। त्यस अवसरमा स्न्यापसट क्यामेरा पनि थिएन। बक्स क्यामेराको अगाडिको लेन्सको बिर्को खोली १ २ ३ भन्दै मौसमको समेत विचार गरी बिर्को बन्द गर्नुपर्थ्यो। यो abdicate राजा राजेन्द्रको फोटो झुक्याई एक व्यक्तिले पछाडिबाट श्रीपेच पक्री फोटो खिच्दा त्यति सफा नआए पनि abdicate राजा राम्रोसँग चिनिन्छन्।
