२०६४ सालभर नेपालमा राष्ट्रिय लीग फुटबल भएन। स्तरीय कुनै प्रतियोगिता नै भएनन्। यस पटक बल्ल बल्ल पाचौं साफ च्याम्पियनसिप माल्दिभ्समा खेलेको नेपाली टीम भारतसँग चार शून्य र माल्दिभ्ससँग चार एक गोल खाएर पन्ध्र वर्षसम्मको निरन्तर उपाधिविहिन यात्रा श्रृखला जारी राख्दै घर फर्क्यो।
सिंगो विश्व जस्तै नेपालीहरु रम्दै, जम्दै छन्- यूरो २००८ मा। तर, घरेलु टिमको यो दुखद् पराजय यूरो २००८ को स्वादमा समाउनेहरुलाई कवावमा हड्डी जस्तै हो। अहिले यूरोतिर हैन चर्चा गरौं नेपाली फुटबलकै। १३ वर्ष भो खुँखार मण्डले कमल थापाका भाइ गणेश थापाले एन्फा सम्हालेको। एन्फालाई आफ्नो बर्पौति बनायका छन् थापाले। नेपाली खेल पत्रकारलाई विदेश भ्रमण, पैसा र रक्सी खुवाएरै पकेटमा राखेका छन् गणेशले। त्यसैले गणेश थापाविरुद्ध कान्तिपुर, अन्नपूर्ण पोस्ट, दि हिमालयन टाइम्स, गोरखापत्र, समाचार पत्र, राजधानी कुनै ब्रोडसिट अखबारले लेख्दैन। एफएम, टिभी र फुच्चे पत्रिका त राष्ट्रिय लीग नहुनुलाई समाचारै बनाउन हिचकिचाउँछन्।
एन्फाको हिसाब गणेश थापाको खल्तीमा हुन्छ। निर्णय गणेश परमादेशका आधारमा हुन्छ। माओवादीले खेलकुदमा आँखा लाएपछि केही होला भन्या त गणेश नै माओवादीलाई किन्न सफल भए। सुनिन्छ फिफा र एएफसीको डलर वर्षामान पुनः मार्फत् प्रचण्ड भण्डारमा पुगेपछि उनले माओवादीबाट तथास्तु पाए।
राखेप सदस्य सचिव जीवराम श्रेष्ठले त गणेशलाई दुहुनो गाई बनाउँछन् र सवै निर्णय आफै धोती लाइदिन्छन्।
एन्फा संघर्ष समितिले करिब २ वर्षको सडक आन्दोलनमा सबैतिरबाट असहयोग मात्र पाए। जीवनराम र वर्षामानले नै गणेशको लड्डु खाएपछि बिचरा संघर्ष समितिको कुरा उठेर बोल्दा हावामा उड्यो, बसेर बोल्दा कसैले सुनेनन्।
अब गम्भीर बन्नुस् है ! फूटबलमा नेपाल सनर्क राष्ट्रको अब्बल टिम थियो गणेश थापाले एन्फा नेतृत्व लिनुभन्दा अघिसम्म। तर त्यसपछि त नेपालले गोलको भारी बाहेक पायो लोप्पा मात्रै। नयाँ नेपाल बनाउछु भन्ने ए काँग्रेस, एमाले र माओवादीहरु अब भन एन्फा संर्घष समितिको न्यायिक आन्दोलन कुल्चेर अथवा गणेश लड्डुमा मातेर किन मारिरहेछौं फुटबल विकासको यात्रा ?
एन्फाको बाह्य सहयोग सार्वजनिक गर्न नसक्ने। फिफा र एएफसीको सहयोग नखोज्ने, गणेशको कोठे चुनाव विघटन गर्न नसक्ने, क्लबहरुको बाहुल्यतामा एन्फा गठन गर्न नसक्ने, एन्फाको गणेशमुखी विधान फुटबलमुखी बनाउन नसक्ने, अनि फुटबलरका आँसु रगत र पसिनामा होली खेल्नेले किन भन्न लाज मान्या त फुटबलमा हामीलाई थापातन्त्र नै मन्जुर छ भनेर।
एउटा निर्णयले २४० वर्ष लामो राजसंस्था विस्थापित हुनसक्दा गणेश गणतन्त्र नेपालको फुटबल क्रान्ति पुरुष हुनु जस्तो क्रुर विडम्बना कहिलेसम्म त ? कमरेड अनन्त तपाईँको बोलेरोमा गणेशको कति डलर छ स्पष्ट पार्नुस् त ! जीवनरामजी भन्नुस् त ३/३ पटक एन्फा निर्वाचन किन सारेको ?
आदरणीय फुटबल फ्यानहरु म त यस्तै दिक्दारीले गर्दा खेल खबरमा रम्न छोडिसकेँ। आखिर म जस्ता ख्याउटेले लेखेर मात्रै के हुँदो रहेछ र बुझ्नेले कुरो नबुझेपछि।

think before what ever you write. just don;t blame, atelast ganesh thapa started teh root level football prgoramme, and some ppl just can not see the wya he is working, it takes time to compete with teh team who had their root level programme in good situtaion, now do not spoil our root level programme blaming ganesh thapa, what GITA THAPA did, she jsut challenge ganesh thapa and even our forigen coach went away, at taht time nepal was in good position.

What I understand is; Ganesh Thapa is trying his best to develop New football players. He belives in new generation that is the reason why he visioned ANFA Acadamy for young players. No matter how he got funding and how much share whould he get. He is working hard and trying to event commercial football. Which makes football player financially well off. Lets see what the ANFA Acadamy player can do?. As fas as I see they are already champion in all Under 19 football occations in South Asia.
Lets hope better for New Generation and New Nepal.

Ganesh Thapa is good for football game development in our country. ANFA is doing good job.
if u cant do better in football why are commenting on others workings, in context of mandale now nepal is federal republic there shouldnt be mandalese and other. if any one do good things they should be appreciated. if u think he uses money to make other to be in his pocket, had he got fifa and afc in his pocket. why are they not commenting about it. i think u are a programmer how u can know about football. the others who are striking are doing politics in the name of football but ganesh thapa didnt did this. he has done many things for development of nepalese football as a player and as president of working committee. be sure my friend before commenting on others. dont run after crow if someone says that you ear has been taken by crow before putting hands on it.lastly best luck for ur exam

I saw this kinds of so many articles againts Thapa Tantra but nobody is taking big action even those five “A” division clubs. He (GT) is like double faces person.
I think this man (Surya?)was sacked by Ganesh Thapa or is useless to Nepal sports. He has only vomitted venom against Ganesh Thapa may be because he did not a single dollar, so he accused everyone. His comment is sufficient to tell the world how famous, powerful and favourite is Ganesh Thapa.
Well, Nepal cannot compare itself to Euro’08’s teams or Korea, Japan, Qatar or other strong teams. Most of the footballers are not in form. They eat a lot of rice and talk only politics, they only know how to attack the guest players and how to play in heavy rains. That is not Ganesh Thapa’s fault. Where to find better players in this crisis hit Nepal?
Also, let us consider other teams in South Asia. India is 30 times bigger than Nepal, but has not won any single trophy in Asian footballs, what to talk about World Cup? Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Pakistan teams are also weak, they win sometimes, loose sometimes. Nepal wins sometimes, looses sometimes. Nepal’s teams have done outstanding performance in renowned football tournaments in India like Darjeeling Gorkha Cup, Bhutan’s Jigme Singye Memorial Gold Cup, Sikkim’s Governor’s Gold Cup, Delhi’s top tournaments and have also defeated top teams like BSF, Mohun Bagan, East Bengal, Md Sporting, etc. in the past.
Football in South Asia is still in undeveloped state. Even Ganesh Thapa gives all of ANFA’s budget to this sick commentator, he cannot improve the football quality in Nepal so easily. ANFA is raising young players now, like Tata is doing in India, and time will take to prepare those young gunners to develop into best players in the course of time.
The commentator (Mr. Surya?) should not accuse officials, parties and journalists in such a way. The reason why major media channels have dismissed his claims could be that his opinions and accusations were baseless and filled with personal vengeance. Can you find out any other better sportsman than Ganesh Thapa to head the football association in Nepal?
Yes, there is only one person who can bring better results. He is Sharad Chandra Shah, the old veteran of Nepali Sports. He may be bad name in Nepal’s politics, may be a corrupt person or may be a Mandaley…but during his time Nepal rose to international fame in football and other athletics. So why don’t you invite Sharad Chandra Shah to replace Ganesh Thapa?

You are absolutely correct buddy. Not only ANFA the whole Sports Council is seriously infected with corruption. Look what Nabin Gurung (England) is doing for Sahara club (Pokhara). Ganesh Thapa need to learn from Nabin Gurung.
