मेरो एक जना साथी छ। देशमा भन्दा विदेशमा गएर केही गरेर फर्कौँ भन्ने सोच छ उसको। एसएलसी पास छ। अंग्रेजी त्यति बोल्न आउँदैन। आजको कान्तिपुर दैनिकमा छापिएको एउटा विज्ञापन हेरेपछि ऊ अमेरिका जाने सपना देख्‍न थालेको छ। विज्ञापन रहेछ काठमाडौँ मुख्य कार्यालय रहेको एउटा एजुकेसनल कन्सलटेन्सीको। अमेरिकाको Virgina International University मा २, ३, ४ र ८ हप्ताका विभिन्न विषयमा सेमिनार, तालिम, वर्कसपमा सहभागी हुन इच्छुकहरुबाट आवेदन मागिएको रहेछ। यहाँ पोखरामा पनि एउटा सम्पर्क कार्यालय रहेछ। योग्यता तोकिएको छैन। TOEFL, IELTS पनि गर्नु पर्दैन रे। इंग्लिस नआए युनिभर्सिटी आफैले ट्रान्सलेटर राखिदिनेछ रे। त्यो विवरण पढेर मलाई अलि शंका लाग्यो। र, तपाईँहरुसित सुझाव माग्न यो लेखेको हुँ। तपाईँहरु जो अमेरिकामा हुनुहुन्छ, वा हुनसक्छ सोही युनिभर्सिटीमा पढिरहनुभएको छ. कृपया सल्लाह दिनुस्, मेरो साथीलाई। उसले के गर्दा ठीक होला ? अनि यो तालिम भनेको केको तालिम होला ?

  1. the add posted is like insulting the university.My close frnd is a graduate of that university december 08. No toefl,translator …etc..are all bulshit.If u r plannign to attend any university in US then u have to spend 100s of dollars to first learn english sessions in the university, then pass the exam then only you can continue with ur regular bachelor/masters education.
    So i urge everyone to give toefl or gre as requrired, which will help u get scholarships and save 100s of dollars here.
    If u dont agree n apply visa..i garuntee u wont get visa ….and if in case u get that u will regret that u cam to US without proper knowledge….

It is better to gather information self from internet. It is you who is coming to USA, not those consultancy people.   20. Really this consultancy is scam of Nepal and I also lost NRs 25000 from this consultancy, main person name is …pradhan ( as i remember Jame Pradhan or something).
    Two years before they changed the name as goldgate….
    If u interested like this add by this consultancy, just review the last 3 years Kathmandu post and HImalayan times.
    you can see series of add wanted 20 lawlayers sit limited, 15 teachers site limited like ……
    When I lost my that amount of money, my friend also gone there and he told me i gonna to try from there, I amazed and stop him losing his money.
    lots of nepali student who wants to go usa, canada are the main target of these people as name of golden gate.

    if such news will realeas in media like kantipur, gorkhrapatra himalayan times, why journalist arenot try to research is this real or just faking the people.

    If you see last 4 years all reknowed journal of Nepal like Kantipur and maphia Himalayan times, u can see same time type of add. I lost nearly 25000 from this consultancy due to their wrong processing and way of scaming the people. I went there with my friend Biju something i fogot the surname, this add person name is …. pradhan, I applied one reputed university, everything what ever I need is ready I know, but at the mean time what they told u know my friends, ur I-20 wasnot issued, I asked my money back and they told me its all finished in your proceessing. Not only me, lots of students are looted by this institute, they every time change the name.
    Actually this consultancy is run by their own family as I know and frauding is verry……higher some times they addvertise wanted lawyer, teacher, …………
    see relly if you want to see their add style in the last 4 year umesh ji.

    If I had visiting card and detail at my home, I will back to all with you.
    There link is with frauding bank people who make duplicate bank statement, CDO, and HIgher post of police and army, its very to reach the how they can do all.

  27. Here is the university website. if there is any program like that you can e-mail the university administration and ask about it or you can call if it did not cost you much. So, far i know, those kind of seminar and trainings are for skilled and professional persons like for Ph.D student or at least who work in some special field. Non of the universities provide any such vocational training or any seminar for any students who don’t even have a +2 and minimum english proficiency.I heard that there are some community colleges in the USA which may provide vocational training like machinics or barber or some other training but we nepalese of course can’t come there for such training.

And to my knowledge they are totally doing money making business to those innocent people who don’t know nothing and make people suffer after they came to uSA.

  54. The owner of this consultancy is Mr. Bhupendra Pradhan and Ms.Krisnaa Singh. They have not only one consultancy, they run more than three consultancies, such as Golden Gate, AI Fid, Blue Star, etc. However, I am came to USA through this consultancy, but they have not paid my tuition till date. I already finished my course, but I had to fight with the administration when I came here. I showed all the receipt to the administration, and they believed me. Not only me, but few others were also victimized. So our university cancel the authorization to this consultancy and owener of this consultancy open new consultancies in order to show to his parties.
    This consultancy is a kind of “SAHKARI BANK”. They use students money to buy lands etc. until visa issued. Every student has to pay $1250 as a consultancy charge,and also has to pay full tuition fees of one quarter depending upon the universities. If the visa is rejected, they will return the students money only after 3 months. Everybody used to fight to take thier money back, but they already signed in the contract paper to take I-20. In the contract paper there are many things, which students dont aware of. They are really cheater. I suggest every one who is applying for this, please please contact the university by yourself. They will do whatever you need to do. They may take few charges but you can rely on it. If I was wrong, god will never forgive me.

They publish everything on their website. I didn’t find anything like that in their website. Sometime it is difficult to find from their website. In this case, go to the “contact us” link on the university web-page provided above. Here it is for your convenient http://www.viu.edu/contact-us.html. Send email to the right person and get authentic information. The add on Kantipur is very vague (Seminar, training, workshop).I checked it on the university webpage. They haven’t advertised anything like that. Conclusion is : “DON’t TRUST the add on Kantipur and don’t waste your time and money in vain.

    उनीहरूले दुबईस्थित पि|m जोन गु्रपमा सुपरभाइजर, सेल्सम्यान, सवारी चालक, सुमेकर, सुरक्षागार्ड, पठाउने भन्दै प्रतिव्यक्ति १ लाख २० हजारदेखि १ लाख ७० हजारसम्म लिएको दाङका जयन्तकुमार डाँगीले बताए । ‘काम गरेबापत हामीलाई ३०-६० हजार मासिक तलब दिइन्छ भनिएको थियो,’ उनले भने । ‘यही असार १२ गते शनिबार बेलुका सात र राति ११ बजे दुबई पठाउने भनिएको थियो । त्यहीअनुसार हामी घरबाट बिदाबारी भएर आयौं,’ सुनसरीका दीपेन्द्र कटुवालले भने, ‘शुक्रबार भेट्न खोज्दा सबै फरार भइसकेछन् ।’

    ठगीमा परेकाहरू बढीजसो भोजपुर, सुनसरी र मोरङका छन् । उनीहरू २० देखि ४० वर्षका छन् । उनीहरू विदेश जान घरबाट बिदाबारी भइआएका थिए । धेरैजसो कामदारहरूले साहूसँग चर्को ब्याजदर र जग्गा बिक्री गरी रकम जोहो गरेका थिए । मासिक सयको ५ रुपैयाँमा ऋण लिएर आएका विराटनगरका विनोदप्रसाद फुयालले भने, ‘फरार भएकाको खोजीमा लागिरहेका छौं । पक्राउ परेका अर्जुनले भने यसमा आफ्नो संलग्नता नरहेको दाबी गरेका छन् । अर्जुनले भने, ‘सामान्य श्रमिक भएका कारण यसमा मेरो कुनै संलग्नता छैन ।’ विभागले ठगीको अनुसन्धान गरी न्याय दिलाउन ढिलाइ गरिरहेको पनि पीडितहरूको गुनासो छ ।
