2. Mr/Mrs Nutan! I read the post about the students studying in Finland. What you posted is not correct exactly. Not only nepalese students, finnish students also doing same cleaing and early morning paper distribution work, do you mean to say that Nepalese students deserve table work or like management post as soon as they arrive to Finland or what? Why don’t you write about students in Nepal? As soon as students arrive to Finland, they start searching for work, they don’t think about the language.
   Moreover Nepalese and Indian restaurants are employer for many nepalese students , providing good money as well. It is not possible for them to give work for all students.
   Stop posting fake and bad news.

3. I liked all’s comments but its true that all students are going abroad for study purpose specially. If student’s know this fact and they are allowed just to work 20 hour/week maximum and also no job gurantee then why they go?

   Yes, there might be some fraud consultant too but I say to the students themself that even the people are going for job doing lots of agreement and after approval of Ministry of Labour, Nepal and they are being cheated, then how can you expect job gurantee from one educational consultancy? It’s your problem.

   If any consultancy says you that there is NO JOB, VISA IS NOT POSSIBLE etc then certainly you will not apply from that consultancy. You will start to find another consultancy who does such kind of foolish promises.

   Look now in market that many consultancies are advertising that saying “WE ARE WITH YOU ALL THE WAY TILL UK” and “UK OFFICE” etc. What does it mean? Do they give you free accomodation? Do they give you job or visa gurantee? What they do?

   But I know 99% students looks such kind of false information and apply from that consultancies. Yes, I don’t say such promising words and that’s result I don’t have big numbers of students applying from my consultancy.

   Even ECAN, NECA & NAAIR was formed to cheat students in some means. They are just like political parties. They want to eradicate all the genuine consultancies and who are known now like top like: DOLPHIN, ORBIT, UNIVERSAL, THE NEXT, NIEC, COSMIC Do you dare to ask their past? From which level come to this stage and what they had done bad practices in past?

   But currently they are saying they are the leading consultancies. Students also being mis-leaded by them. Even with the help of the position they hold in ECAN, NECA, NAAIR they are cheating even other general members of their organizations too.

6. Before jump into new phase there is certain knowledge needed for jumper. As a general reader it is difficult to understand what writer is trying to say. Is he complaining to finish job market? If he is, let me add something once visa is granted student has to take responsibility of his all expenses. Before applying visa the finish government has clearly written in their web page (www.cimo.fi) regarding the issue which Mr. Writer has raised in his article. On the other hand there are number of students who are working and continuing their studies nicely. And I must say Mr. Writer please do not expect the life which you had in your home country. Mr. Writer try to respect other and work. Your status in Finland is student not a worker. Further this is just a transaction period work, if you expect more than you have to be also exceptional. Blaming other never solved the problem. Let me remind you one thing the president of Finland was doing cleaning job when she was studying. Try to see the world from your real eyes, not from your virtual eyes. I guess, you came Finland for study. My advice is concentrate on your study rather than complaining and blaming it will just kill your time. if you are really in problem I know there are number of people who help students to find a part time job. Writing your frustration in the article never help you to find job.

12. If they can find better job, why don’t they take it. If they cannot find better job, then they should stay in the current job without any complain. It is the productivity of worker that determines wage not the need of the worker. It is good news that at least they are having a least paying job. They should appriciate it.

I also giving such kind of messase there is no need to pay money for entrance in Finland but employment opportunity is not so good. Still people cannot believe it.     Let me first remind you. The Finnish Embassy might have asked you to show the bank balance of minimum 6000 euros. Just think for a while, for what reason that money was needed. You should first realize it. You, yourself, is a cheater in the sense that you have told Finnish Embassy that you have sufficient money to survive even you will not get any job. Now if you don’t get any job, then why are you blaming? I ask one question to those students who think that consultancy has taken lots of money from them. Don’t you know that education in Finland is free??? Had you never used computer before so that you can collect information where you are going or in which University you are applying?? Yes, you had used computer but not for the purpose of collecting information but just for chatting. Why did you apply to Consultancy? You thought that you should not have to do anything yourself. Because you believe on Consultancy rather than the Embassy or the University.
    If we talk about job, then i tell you the majority of the students are not looking job for how to survive, instead they are looking job for gathering money and planning trip to European countries. They are looking job to buy a new model mobile, to buy laptop, to buy ipod and so on. May be not all students are like that but majority of them have similar attitude. I still remember someone told me: “Daju i have problem of momey now, i need job, please help me”. He shared me just after arrival of 1 month. I questioned him where is your 6000 euros. He told me that he has transferred money back to Nepal and only 1000 euros he kept. He continued sharing that out of 1000 euros, he bought a laptop of around 500 euros. I asked him: was Laptop needed at the moment? Instead, you could have bought a desktop if it was necessary. Then he told me that he thought it was cheap laptop thats why he bought. From this fact, you can analyse what is his goal. I have seen many students who are working too hard during nights and days but ultimately their plan is to go for Europe trip. They can invest 500-1000 euros for Europe trip but could not save money so that they will not have problem during study.
    I was getting scholarship from Finnish Government as 460 euros per month for accomodation, fooding and so on. But during my study period, i never went outside of Finland. My target was to finnish study first.
    To those students who are looking for job, i can just remind you please realize that you need job only to manage your living expenses during your study period nothing than else.

25. I do not agree 100% with this article and also the comments that are posted. As far as I know every students (including students form Europe) who studies in Europe (especially until the masters level) has to arrange money for living by them self. Its not like in US or UK where you have to pay thousands of dollars as a semester fee.Therefore, its not so difficult to earn money for living (if you don’t want to save money). This is equally applied to citizens from the host countries as well as students coming from outside. Therefore, one of the most important point for those who wishes to come to non-English speaking countries is that he or she should be fluent in the language of host country. This is because it will be easier to find a part-time job (if he or she is without the scholarship). Every citizens who is above 18 years arranges their money for living through part-time job. Its not like in Nepal where you will be entirely dependent upon your parents for studies. In conclusion what I want to say its upto you if you are serious about studies and you are here not for earning money and you have a good language proficiency then you don’t have to ask for a job to Neplease restaurant or to some Asian restaurant. Its because of us itself these restaurant owners are behaving badly because either you are very weak in language or you try to find a job very lately or you are not smart enough in finding the information’s or you do not have a valid visa.

However for first 6 month you have to be financially secure later its you who has to descover. Never wait for someone to come and give you job. always tell them how you are and what you can do. this is the way you can sell your qualification. However you will not get anythign without hard work. If you come for master than it is great because you have to struggle for 2yrs, once you get european degree you can apply anywhere in europe with that degree. But just be carefull you are studying in good university. So for the student how wants to come i would say be mentally prepared for worst case but dont leave your track from studying than you can go head and never run after money until you dont finish your target…dukka ta sabai thou ma huncha dukka deki daraunu hudaina just have to fight against that..this is the way you learn lot of things in your life…tara illegal basne bichar le chai europe ma aauna chai ma suggestion didaina…however for engineering specially IT, computer, electronics and electrical,bio engineering there are quite scope and once you get european degree you might get job in company and yuo are not binded with language also.tara jun desh ma basiyou tyaha ko languague jannu pani ramrai ho jasto lagcha malai ta..we should take language as big thing..europe ma aaye pachi language sikchu ani garnu bhanne motivation le aaunu parcha ani sabia kura thikk huncha…

31. Same situation in London as well. Family and friends might think that their son or relatives are in London and are living like londoners. It is false, many nepalese students are living here in deliberate conditions. 4-5 people share a single room to save money and they find work only in shops owned by indian, sri lankan.I believe it is really difficult for any nepalese student to get a job in firms owned by english people. As british government has eased the student visa, think twice before coming to england.

38. “पत्रिका बाँड्ने काम त झन गाह्रो -२० डिग्रीको चिसो, जताततै हिउँ नै हिउँ। अझ राति २ बजेदेखि नै साइकलमा पत्रिका बोकेर घर-घरमा बाँड्दै हिंड्नुपर्ने” यो लाईन १००% ठीक छ म भन्दिन। मलाई याद छ जाडो को महिना थियो रातिको २ बजे -२० तापक्रम,हातमा बाक्लो पन्जा, NORTH FACE को हीउमा लगाउने जुत्ता,उुनीको टोपी,बाक्लो ज्क्केट झत्ट हेर्दा बाग मार्न हिंडेको जस्तो देखिन्थे तर म पत्रीका बाड्न हिंडेको थिए। साईकलमा सरररर रातो आकाश वरिपरि सेतो हीउ सुनसन बस्ती कती राम्रा घरहरु मनिषहरुले स्वोर्ग स्वोर्ग भन्थे शायद त्योनै थियो होला। कहिलेकाही घर हरुको झ्यालमा हेर्थे भित्र रातो बत्ती बलेको,फेरी सोच्थे झ्याल भित्र पनि अर्कै स्वोर्ग भैरहेको होला। कहिलेकाही साईकल पनि म पनि उदै सललल हुन्थ्यो। हीउमा उुदै सललल हुन पनि कति रमाइलो। त्यो दु:ख थियो या सुख मलाई थाहा छैन, तर जब आज त्यो दिनहरु सम्झन्छु साह्रै रमाइलो लाग्छ। साह्रै आनन्द आउछ।

    कर्मलाइ धिक्कार्दै कामको खोजिमा निस्कन्छ बिचरो अनि भेट हुन्छ आर्को नेपालीदाइ

Social system is very good comparing to any other country in the world. One of my very good friend used to be a President of 3rd largest Insurence Co, in Finland and he lost the business and right now he is working as a construction worker in helsinki, in that country no job is small job.

59. well as we know because of the global recession its not that easy to find a job …….u have to be well prepared to face the bad situation….n esp for student who has planned to come over finland …..student mustnt make up their mind that they will earn so much money over here….however if yr first intension is giving priority for study, finland isnt a bad country…u dont have to pay at all for tuition fees……….lots of opportunity r here……

61. एउटा कुरा त हामी नेपाली हरु deal गर्नमा अली अली पछी छौ। हामीले sivooja भन्दा माथिको job को बारेमा कहिले पनि सोच बनएनौ। language नभयपछी पका पनि तल्लो स्तर को काम गर्न पर्ने भएको हो। केही example हेर्ने हो भने केही नेपाली हरुले field of study सँग related job हरु गरेको पाईएको छ। मलाई लाग्छ यहाँ को पढाई ले हामीलाई हाम्रो future मा केही दिन सक्छ। हो पैसा पनि कमाउुनु पर्छ तर study काम भन्दा important लाग्छ मलाई। कतीपये student हरुको आफ्नै problem होला तर। हामी यहाँ आउनु भन्दा पहिले नै सोच्नु पर्ने कुर हो। कतिपये student हरुले पढाई लाई bindas बनएका छन। alcohol बढी मात्र म खाने बानी पनि धेरै student हरुमा पाईएको छ। पढेर केही माथि लाग्दैन भन्ने लगयता क नकरत्मक सोच हरु student हरु मा भाईसकेको छ। वास्तव म हामी नेपाल बाट यहाँ आउनु भन्दा पहिले नै embassy ले student हरु लाई job को बारेमा inform गएको मलाई याध छ। यहाँको government ले नै student हरुलाई restrict गरेको छ कि every बर्ष student ले ६००० एुरो जम्मा गर्नु पर्ने भनेर। यो कुरा थाहा हुँदा हुँदै पनि यहाँ आउने हाम्रो पहिलो गल्ती हो। जब यहाँ अैइसके पछी काम पाएन काम गाह्रो भयो भन्न लाज् लाग्ने कुरा नै हो। next कुरा हेल्सिन्की मा job पाएका नेपाली हरु job नपाएक नेपाली सँग बोल्न पनि हिचकिचाउछन। यो चै अली बढी नै भएको छ। गर्नु पर्ने आँफैले हो। तर नेपाली बिच केही union भयो भने हामी सबै नेपाली लाई सजोलो पर्ने थियो।

Bidesh ka university ko ramro bhaneko nai very good infrastructure, multicultural environment and research ho. yesta kura Nepal kai university haru ma pani garna sakinchha. yedi ramro education Nepal mai paune ho bhane , ma chai yesto bidesh kadapi aaune thiyena.
