    These Indra,Aveeral etc. are thinking themselves great thinkers like William Wordsworth and trying to become oversmart. But one thing is real that all of the Nepalis in my city do read your blog. The photograph of KP oli is appropriate, and it shows the Nepali peoples that they(leaders) do nothing for us but only for themselves.
    However,I see some of the comments- the Nepali journalists do not write against Prachanda. It is another reality of Nepali politics–maybe even god is afraid of foolish person.

  19. today, when I opened the parewa online my eye went on one blog and saw one thing that person is going to marry somebody like our custum because someone is assisting him to from I don know whether it is from sun or rain. I DIN’T SEE ANY THING that person taking anything on his hand. I thing, now he is not sick,(hope he doesn’t be), and that army person is not a slave who has compulson to provide the shade by the umbralla.
    that person is following the principle of the improve comunisim , but that pic doesn’t any clue of following that kind of principle.

    फोटो राख्नुभएकोमा बधाइ छ। यो एकदम प्रंससनिय कार्य हो। मैले सबै कमेन्टहरु पढ्ने मौका पाए। खड्ग ओलीको यो कार्य तपाइहामीले सोचे बिपरीत रहेछ भन्ने कुरा माथिका भनाइहरुले प्रष्ट पारेका छन्। जनआन्दोलनले दिएको अधिकार प्रयोग गर्ने नेताहरुले ससाना कुराहरु बिचार गर्नुपर्नेरहेछ भन्नेपनि देखियो। नागरिकहरुले नेताहरुका बोली र व्यवहार फरक नहोस भन्ने चाहेका छन्। यसैगरी सत्तामा पुगेपछि मै हु भन्ने मात कसैलाईपनि नचढोस भन्नेमापनि पाठकहरु सचेत छन्। नेताहरुमा नागरिकहरुको भावनाको कदर गर्ने राजनीतिक संस्कार नदेखिएकोमा उनीहरुमा चिन्ता देखियो।
    माथिका कमेन्टहरुमा कसैले पनि खड्ग ओलीको यो काम राम्रै हो भन्ने साहस गरेको छैन। खड्ग ओलीलाई राम्रै मान्नेहरुले यत्तिका भरमा मुल्यांकन नगरौं भन्ने अनुरोध गरेर उनको बानी सप्रेलाकी भन्ने आशा गरेका छन्।

    उफ् ।

    सम्झेर आउँदा विरक्त लागेर आउँछ ।

    बुज्रुक भनाउँदाहरु पनि यही संक्रमण कालमा सरकारलाई आफ्नो काम गर्न नदिएर केकेमा किचकिच गरिरहेका छन् । अनि आन्दोलनबाट गएका सात राजनीतिक दल पनि एक्यवद्भ हुन सक्दैनन् । खिचा तानिमै दिन र समयको दुरुपयोग गरेका छन् । रात रहे अग्राख पलाए भन्ने नेपाली उखानलाई आत्मसाथ गर्नु पर्ने समयमा ।
    यो फोटोले सत्ता र राजनीतिक दलमा भएका मानिस नेताहरुको प्रतिनिधित्व गर्जस्तो लाग्यो । खै के होला देशमा नयाँ लोकतान्तत्रिक परिवर्तन ।

    It only shows how unpopular is Oli. His recent three actions a) quarelling unnecessarily, and unsuccessfully, over becoming the officiating PM,
    b)supporting Nepal Army, and putting on sidelines other senior colleagues from UML for his own self interest make him more unpopular and dislikable figure.

    But most importantly, everyone has asked the same question of Oli. Where was he during the Jana Andolan II? Was he not hobnobing with the Royalists?

    He is not to be trusted. Watch out his actions!!
    Oli’s actions will prove that he does not believe in SAMAWESHI principle that the nation is eager to embrance after the Janadolan II.

    Let us stop hyper-comments on the picture alone. rather, let us change the context and talk productive comments such as the need of royal property to be people’s property as soon as possible. I also didn’t like KP Oli’s pic now. He is insulting the norms of UML too.

    Yes, action speaks louder than words. picture speak’s thousand words. However, let us not waste our energy on this oli alone. Let us warn him. If he is honest, he should apologize on his use of shoshak-tal by look. Speacially, it is not necessary to have a guard to over guard by umbrella. let us be vigilant in all leaders like this.

    अनि तेस्ले शुरुमा आउँदा फेरी किन गैर-नेपाली भेश भूशा गरेको नि? कपाल मा जेल हालेर, कालो चस्मा र छालाको ज्याकेट ढल्काएर किन सिनेमाको गुन्डो जस्तो भएको? उस्को भेश भूशा बाटै थाहा हुन्छ उस्मा कति रास्ट्रप्रती माया छ भनेर। सर्वहारा को प्रतीनिधी भएर आएको भन्ने मान्छे दौरा सुरुवाल वा कछाड भोटो लाउन सक्दैनथ्यो ?

However, after coming to this day, I want to ask you seriously what are you really wanting from this forum ? Do you think it is fulfiling what you really want or you just want people to make comments on your forum ? Do you get chance to read each and every comment ? Are you satisfied with what commentors are writing ? People are commenting on “manab adhikar”, and at the same time writing bad and unnecessary words on others comments ? Moreover, some people are abusing others name, for instance “chor indra”, “sale ….”, and even worse words. What does it reflect ? Based on a picture of someone, or words of someone, people are having war through your blog. Is this what you want ? Are you sure this blog is doing good for political, or social, or pyschological progress ? I don’t know politics well but I am sure that every person who writes in your blog knows it either. You can see yourself that some persons don’t even know what they are commenting upon. I was also ready to comment on every headlines, and i did it, too, on some of your previous news. Now, I have found it useless because there’s no worth of it. I am also sure, I will be charged with many rough words by some commentors in your blog for this, too. But again, I would like to suggest you to make your blog contributing to any field, not just for making a field where people can play however they like. Many people would like to see your blog a real media of the country.

Yes, it is true no one feel good to see such behaviour of government personal but we need to comment and correct more serious parts rather than such minor things. I don’t think that a single picture can prove him as a notorious figure. This is our country yar, here those who helped or killed so many innocent nepalese are explaining that they are not guilty and moving around freely and you patrakar are making them hero instead. I have a dout that this investigation commission will not be able to punish even a single personality and people have to punish them as they did to hindu k jati ko ke ho budho nam pani birse.

  51. Certainly, the photo doesn’t suit an image of a communist leader and we have to discourage such practises but its wrong to evaluate the whole personality of Oli and the UML party itself on this basis.
    No matter how devoted Nepali communist leaders are, all of them hail from this society, are educated and cultured here and so the above photo is not a uncommon thing.

    Its the responsibility of the journalists to alert the leaders about such practises.

  84. We Nepalese really are impossible. We are only good in throwing dirt to anybody. We are discussing on this issue where Maoists are abducting people, collecting donations forcefully, etc. Why are we not discussing on such issues? Is this photo more important or Maoists’ extortion is more important at this point of time. Maoists are clearly violating the code of conduct every now and then, and we have no concern on it. Let us discuss on Maoist extortions and try to put pressure on them rather than only wasting our time on this photo. It is more important than every other things.

Most of the friends who support that it’s just an umbrella being raised by guard to Oli, have forgotten the implication that such a posture gives to people does not match to the political ideology that Oli carries. If it were for Kamal Thapa or Tulsi Giri or Gyanendra himself, it wouldn’t have been a big thing as it does match to their lifestyles and to the way they think. i.e they are Samantis, but Oli, he advocates himself as the leader of Sarvahara and acts like feudal. It is not behaviour of the leaders that makes them great not what they preach. Even Gyanendra also claimed that he was working for people, but what is happening to his fate now. He is on the verge of being ousted. Why, because of his Samanti behaviour towards people.   174. There was a time, I remember, when I went to see Mr. Oli in Pokhara jail long time ago. By then, he used to call himself a ‘communist’ (I think he still calls himself a communist-do you believe it?). In the jail, he was a pretty bad-shaped mouse. Ridiculously, he is a communist neta. It’s not only him, everyone in the UML now carry to same characteristic for which I am not surprised, but feeling a bit shameful.

  190. I read all the comments on that photo. I agree with most of them except few. I think the main problem with Nepalese is trying to prove others wrong. This is obvious that this man whoever that is ( Mr Oli or whatever ) is abusing his position, taking advantage of others who are bound to serve him. How can he do that ? And how can few wise people say that we cant judge somebody by looking at the photo ?? Of course we can, because this photograph is not from any 3rd class movie or drama its from real life movement. This leader has forgotton his base , his origin and how he got that position. I think he has lost his morale as well. He hasnt lost his hands, he is not disabled, he is not in a wheelchair, can he not even carry his own umbrella ??? I think thats disgusting…

They were puzzled why he used umbrella when there is neither sun nor rain. But, they said its normal to have a armed body-guard for a deputy PM.

We know many people can not go hospital due to lack of money although they have emergency but Girija was taken hospital although he did not want to go.We can not compare like this, Girija must be cared because he is Primeminister.Friends do not think to KpOli too .He is the best leader of country.

    If I am wrong in above critics, Probably his both hand is paralysed.

    ” DP Mr oli’s the hands paralysed and he is medically disabled” He would be given body guard by SPA gov for life long to hold umbrela during rain or sunny days.

    My best wishes for him to get recovered soon from paralysis and request gov to send him to thailand for the medical treatment.
