I like king, not as a politician but as a celibrity. I like Paras, Himani and all those members of royal family. I always see the charm and fascination in the word “royal”. I think if you can keep the royal things with royal parameters, they will not bother the democracy or any other “ism”. The prosperity of the country begins with a person and ends in a system. but the so called leaders think that it begins with system. My daily life wouldnt be changed whatever the system is in “SInghdurbar”. Respecting my own interest I am going to vote for the King in constituent assembly.

It is indeed a very Good debate. Mr Dilli Ramna Dahal, the senior citizen of Nepal (68 years old), presented accurately his rationale views on why it is necessary to abolish the monarchy institution in Nepal. He gave very good explanations to defend his view points. He correctly pointed out the childish mind of the young woman whose belief is influenced by fantasy of fairy-tale kingdom.
In the history of Nepal, right from Prithvi Narayan Shah who violently captured Nepal introduced terror on his own people. He killed off anybody considered to be antagonist to his rule in such a way that no one could dare to come forward to assist the affairs of the country and he only believed the group people he brought from Gorkha. We do not find any significant patriotic acts by Shah kings but only we find power struggle within royal families and within their cronies and too much violence and corruptions. Shah kings mixed with Rana Oligarchy Rulers ran the country for their family interests by creating the privileged class of people who were enjoying out of state coffer while the rest were living in destitute. They never did anything that would make people proud of them. They were also popular for depriving rights of indigenous people. They basically neglected languages, cultures and traditions of indigenous people (Janjati) of Nepal. It is indeed very sad moments in history to have shah dynasty for 238 years. I hope the end of the Shah dynasty, comes very soon.
We have a rich king in the poor country. The monarchy institution has no place in 21 century Nepal. It has to be abolished before all troubles will cease.
