नेपालमा कम्युनिस्ट र पञ्चलाई पार्टी फुटाउन र जोड्नलाई कुनै कारण नै चाँहिदैन। पञ्चहरु राजालाई झुकेर मात्रै ढोग्ने कि लम्पसार परेर भन्दै झगडा गरी पार्टी फुटाउँछन् भने कम्युनिस्टहरु माअोको स्वास्नी चेङ चिङ (मलाई नाम यस्तै हो जस्तो लाग्छ, गलत भए सच्याई दिनुहोला)लाई क्रान्तिकारी नेता मान्ने कि गद्दार मान्नेजस्ता कुरालाई झिकेर पार्टी फुटाउँछन्। हालै तीन चिरामा विभाजित भएको जनमोर्चा नेपालको विवादका २४ बूँदामध्ये एउटा बूँदा माअोको स्वास्नीलाई क्रान्तिकारी नेता मान्ने कि नमान्ने भन्ने विषयमा समेत रहेको छ। माअोकी स्वास्नीलाई चित्रबहादुर केसी समूहले गद्दार मान्छ भने अमिक शेरचन पक्षले क्रान्तिकारी नेतृ।
पञ्चहरुको पार्टी सिद्धान्तभन्दा पनि व्यक्तिमा चलेको छ। त्यसैले त होला उनीहरुको पार्टीलाई ‘दल’ हैन ‘क्लब’ भनिएको। दलहरुसँग कुनै निश्चित सिद्धान्त हुन्छ र त्यस उद्देश्य प्राप्त गर्नका लागि त्यसका नेता कार्यकर्ता लागि पर्दछन्। दलविहीन राजनीतिक पद्धतिमा हुर्किएकाहरुले बहुदल आएपछि बनाएको दललाई सत्ताका लागि पटक-पटक फुटाए। आफ्नै सरकारका विरुद्ध अविश्वास प्रस्तावमा मतदान गर्ने र नयाँ सरकारमा सामेल हुने कमल थापालगायतका झुण्डहरुले संसदीय राजनीतिलाई उपहासको विषय बनाए। उनीहरुको यस्तो कार्यले आफ्नो सरकार ढल्ने निश्चित भएपछि वाक्क भएका महापञ्च लोकेन्द्रबहादुर चन्दले कमल थापालाई “मुसा” उपनाम दिएको। हाल पनि थापा त्यसै नामले चिनिन्छन्।
तर नेपालका कम्युनिस्टहरु शास्त्रीय सिद्धान्तमा निकै चंख छन्। सिद्धान्तको कुरामा घण्टौ बहस गर्दछन्। नेपालका कम्युनिस्टहरु रुसलाई “सामाजिक साम्राज्यवादी” मान्ने कि नमान्ने वा चीन र रुस कसको पक्षमा उभिने, चीनमा देङ स्याउ पीङको उदयपश्चात् त्यो देश पूँजिवादतिर फर्कियो वा कम्युनिस्ट देश रह्यो कि रहेन भन्ने विषयमा घण्टौँ चर्काचर्की गर्दछन्। नेपालका यस्ता प्रवृत्तिको कारणले नेपालका कम्युनिस्टहरुले मस्को वा बेइजिङमा हिउँ पर्दा काठमाडौंमा अोभरकोट लगाउने भनेर भनेको। उनीहरु देशको सामाजिक राजनीतिक र आर्थिक विषयको व्याख्यामा विवाद गरेभन्दा पनि रुस वा चीन कसको धुरीमा बस्ने भनेर पार्टी फुटाएका छन्।
कम्युनिस्टहरु आफ्नै साथीहरुलाई गाली गर्न माहिर नै मानिन्छन्। कम्युनिस्ट स्कुलिङको कारणले नै होला खगेन्द्र संग्रौलालाई लेखमा सबैभन्दा बढी गाली गर्न आएको । अझ प्रदीप नेपाल कमरेडको कुरै नगरौं। उहाँले कलमबाट सहकर्मी र आफ्नै नेताहरुलाई पटक तुच्छ गाली गर्नु भएको छ। कम्युनिस्टहरु आफ्नो सहकर्मी मन परेन भने अनेकौं आरोप लगाउँछन्। व्यक्तित्वको टकरावको कारण कम्युनिस्टहरु फुट्छन्। मन नपरेको नेताले जुँगा पालेको छ भने उ “जडसूत्रवादी” हुनसक्छ जुँगा काट्छ भने “संशोधनवादी”।
लेनिनवादी संगठनात्मक पद्धतिमा रहने कारणले होला- कार्यकर्ताहरु टाउको गन्यो आफ्नो पक्षमा कति छन् हेर्यो अनि पार्टी फुटाइहाल्यो। त्यसैले होला काँग्रेस वा अन्य मास बेस पार्टीहरुभन्दा सैद्धान्तिक कुरा गर्ने कम्युनिस्टहरु धेरै छिटो फुट्छन्।
त्यसो त अहिले कम्युनिस्टहरु मिलेर ग्रान्ड कम्युनिस्ट पार्टी खोल्ने कुराहरु आइरहेका छन्। तर कम्युनिस्टहरुको विगत हेर्दा भने त्यसो हुन सक्ला र भन्ने प्रश्न उठ्छ। गणतान्त्रिक मोर्चा बनाउन काँग्रेसले अस्वीकार गरिसकेको अवस्थामा गणतन्त्रको साझा उद्देश्य प्राप्तिको न्युनतम लक्ष्यका साथ कम्युनिस्ट पार्टीहरु एकीकरणको बिन्दूमा आउलान् त ?

** What do you expect from Communists with Bankrupt Ideology? **
Days are gone when you say the power comes out of the barrel of the gun. People are no longer animals that you can keep them in dark and drive them with force. The main ideology of communism is the propaganda where the people’s aspirations are painted nicely on paper and the leadership demands the deep respect for their “Dear comrade leader”. The leader becomes the tyrannical comrade who takes the stature of saviour of the country and demands the blind faith on him. When the leader dies, the new leader starts criticizing the past away leader and categorizes the old leader as the despotic. He, in turn, takes the country into new direction of unknown nature. This keeps on repeating as long as the country stays as a communist country. In Russia you find leaders like Zoshep Stalin, Nikita Khrushchev, Leonid I. Brezhnev, Yuri Andropov and Mikhail Gorbachev who criticized their predecessors. The same story is repeats in China – Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping and so on
We saw all countries that fell as the victims of communism. The country which adapted the communism after the people’s revolution has in fact became the totalitarian country. The communist ideology itself is a big uncertain doctrine. It had failed in eastern European countries and it had proved itself as a bankrupt ideology.
So in Nepal, we can keep our peace and freedom (Democracy) only when Maoists respect “Ballots” but stop worshiping “Guns”.

Communists have lost their way long back.

It is not true that only communists are splitting up since their inception. I guess the author of this article either chose to wink at or did not like to see back the history of Nepali Congress.If not,I advise him to read history seriously before tempting to write any article of this ilk. To remind him, here are some splinter groups and thier leadrs for authors information sake:
a)where did the Dilli Raman group come from?
b)where did the Matrika group come from?
c)where did the Subarna group come from?
d)which party Tulasi Giri, Biswo Bandhu Thapa, Shribhadra sharma belong to before they joined Panchayat?
e)what about the Bakhan Sing Gurung group?
f)and what about Deuba group?
The point is, there have been a process of splitting almost in every party,but most of the time some ‘very smart’ people opt to chose not mentioning that in their writeups. To say that only communists are good at blaming and humiliating their fellow comrades is no more than a baisness. Whay Ganesh Man Singh chose to spend rest of his life almost isolated from the politics and dejected by the party? Why K.P. Bhattarai has been following the same path? Who can forget Girija blaming Gagan Thapa and Narahari Acharaya as royalists? At last but not least, it is worthwhile for the auther to evaluate himself before blaming the others(here Khagendra Sangraula)as dire cynic and verbal abusers.
after i read the article about the same topics in other weekly magizine website, i found that they are dividing to unite either into maoist or UML. ultimately maoist and UML will be united for republican front till election and altimately to unite as a communist party of nepal.
this is the need of the situation since nepali congress is preparing to unite with royalist parties as non republican front. to defeat them republican front need to be formed at least if unification isnot possible.

हामी नेपालीहरु कस्ता छौं ?? हाम्रो समाज को सोच कस्तो छ? हामीले आफुलाई नै हेरेमा यस्को जवाफ पाउँछौ कि?? पत्रकार तिर्थ कोइराला ले हिमाल मा छापिएको एउटा लेखमा उल्लेख गर्नु भएको थियो- कुनै संस्थाले गरेको अध्ययन ले नेपालिहरु को निम्न लिखित बिषेशताहरु देखाएको थियो ॥
१) दुख: गरि कमाउने , मोज गरेर उडाउने
२) तथ्यमा बिश्वास नगर्ने, हल्लामा बिश्वास गर्ने
३) बिगत लाई चाँडै बिर्सने
४) बिद्रोही देखिने, तर शक्तीसंग तुरुन्तै सम्झौता गर्ने
मलाई चाहिँ यस्मा अरु बिषेशताहरु पनि थप्न मन लागेको छ।
५) आफ्नो गल्ति स्विकार गर्दै नगर्ने। जे कुरामा पनि अरुकै गल्ति देख्ने।
६) नकारात्मक (destructive) सोच धेरै , सकारात्मक र रचनात्मक(constructive) सोच कम ।
७) प्राय: साघुँरो दाएराको सोच राख्ने ,समग्र बिश्लेशण नगर्ने, एउटै कुरा बाट तुरुन्तै जुनसुकै कुरा को पनि धारणा बनाई हाल्ने। (सय गुण यउटा अबगुण छ भने त्यहि एउटा अबगुण मात्र हेर्न।)
८) अरुको पिडा दुख:मा रमाउने ( sadistic) सोच र ईर्स्या बढि।
९) एक आपसमा आत्मीयता कम, घृणा बढि ।
नयाँ समुन्नत नेपाल बनाउने हो भने यस्ता बानि तथा धारणा हामीले परिबर्तन गर्नु पर्छ। यस्ता बानी तथा धारणाहरु हटाउन शिक्षा प्रणालीमा परिबर्तन जरुरी छ। यो पक्कै पनि लामो बाटो हो, तर समाजलाई परिबर्तन गर्ने माध्यम यही हो। शिक्षाले मानिस को सोचाईको दायरा फराकीलो बनाउनु पर्छ, यउटा असल नागरिक उत्पादन गर्नु पर्छ । पढ्नु भनेको केबल प्रमाणपत्र लिनु मात्र हैन, बिना बौद्वीक
चेतना पाएको प्रमाणपत्रको के काम? बरु यस्तो प्रमाणपत्र त कागजको खोस्टा सरह हो। यउटा शिक्षीत ब्यक्ती भनेको कागजको खोस्टा बोकेर हिड्ने मान्छे मात्र उत्पादन गर्ने शिक्षा प्रणालि ले दे्शको हित गर्दैन। हामीले किन बिकास गर्न सकेनौं, दोस्रो बिश्वयुद्ध मा ध्वस्त प्राय: भएको युरोप किन ४०-५० बर्षमै सम्बृद्धीको चुलिमा पुग्यो?? किन कोरिया र मलेसिया ( जुन देशहरु ३०-४० बर्ष अगाडि हामी भन्दा पछी थिए) को बिकास भयो?? किनकी, उनिहरु संग असल नागरिक उत्पादन गर्ने संयन्त्र थियो, ठुला बिश्वबिध्यालयहरु थिए। असल नागरिकको जमात भन्दा ठुलो संपदा अरु कुनै हुंदैन। यहि असल नागरिकको जमात बाट नै नेता, शिक्षक, डाक्टर , ईन्जिनियर आदि बन्छन, अनि धेरै पढ्न नसकेका मध्यबाट ड्राइभर, कुल्लि, डकर्मि सिकर्मि बनेका हुन्छन र त उनिहरुमा पनि नागरिक मानविय चेतना हुन्छ। खै त , युरोपमा त ड्राइभरले दुर्घटना पछि ब्याक गरेर मान्छे मारेको सुनिदैन त?? उस्लाई थाहा हुन्छ कि यस्तो गर्यो भने “ असल प्रहरी” ले समात्छ र “असल न्यायधिश” ले जिबन भरीको लागी गाडि चलाउन नपाउने गरि जेलमा हाल्छ भनेर। यस्तो काममा अरु “असल ड्राईभर” हरुले चक्काजाम गरेर यस्तो गलत कामलाई समर्थन गर्लान भनेर त सोच्नै नसकिने हुन्छ। हुन्छन यहाँ पनि ८-१०% “खराब नागरिक” हरु पनि, तर तिनीहरुलाई तह लगाउन संधै “असल संयन्त्र” तयार भएर बसिरहेको हुन्छ। हामी कहाँ चाँहि जो सुबिधा बाट बन्चित छन र दुर्गम गाऊँमा बस्छन, त्यहाँ बरु असल मान्छे छन, झन प्रमाणपत्रधारीहरु “बौद्विक बेश्याबृत्ति” गर्छन, आफुलाई पैसा आए विवेक लाई तिलान्जलि दिन्छन। म्यागासेसे पाऊने “सन्दुक रुईत” बा नोबल पुरस्कार पाउने बंगलादेशका “ ग्रामिण बैंक” हाम्रो आदर्श हुन सक्दैन, झन उल्टो हाम्रा “प्रशाईं” र “पिउष बहादुर” हरु रोल मोडल हुन्छन। अनि कसरि हुन्छ प्रगति??????

At this juncture, I recall what late Ganesh Man Singh used to say during Jan Andolan I days – “War ki Par”. Sad that the revolutionary Democrat is no longer with us. Had he have lived till date he would have now said “Par ki Par”. After being deceived by the Monarch so many times he would have led democrats, hand in hand with the Communists, for a Republican set up. Unfortunately, such a figure like Ganesh Man was also sidelined by the Girja chhap congressis, not because he has no support or he does not follow so called democratic principles – but simply because Congress as a political party was created and brought up by the feudals like Subarna Samsher and BP Koirala and poor Ganesh Man despite being feudal of Kathmandu started his political career as a Hukke of BP {?}. One thing we have seen many times, Congress always get united whenever there are opportunities. No doubt Sher Bahadur is going to get along with Girija congress after having exacerbated overall political situation in Nepal jointly with the former over the past decade. So they would form a platform for sure in support of feudals, possibly ceremonial monarchy (given the mood of the voters, they however would not dare to come openly for this though!).
It is unfortunately true that Communists in Nepal may split for no reason, assuming for principles! They have shown it time and again. Now we see 25 different communist parties each claiming themselves to be the real communists, some of those parties without any followers, others are existing because of sympathisers, some others claiming to be more powerful without realizing the reality on the ground. At this point in time, it is also worth recalling Madan Bhandari, who from the podium at the “Khula Munch” once said one has to search for other communist parties (except for then newly formed UML) from the heights like Dharahara. It is certainly an ideal situation for the real communists to show that at least they have one common point in their agenda – Republicanism. If all communist parties get united, there is no need for further support from non- communists to bring a republican set up in Nepal. To put this in other words, if the communists will not get together this time, they all will disappear from the Map of Nepal for ever! for a simple reason – what can they give for country or people if they can not get united for one single reason what all they say they have been struggling for! In this Girija and Sheres may also join the movement since they have time and again declared republican set up as their party line. It would be a shame to discuss in this forum about so called National democratic parties, created 15 years ago just to defend royal interests and who always change colours using poor and illiterate rural population.
Let us hope that all republican forces including the followers of Ganesh Man if there are any left within Congressis will get united for a Republican set up!
