गौर काण्डपछि लुकेर बसेका मधेशी जनअधिकार फोरमका अध्यक्ष उपेन्द्र यादवले एक सातापछि मंगलबार बल्ल मुख खोलेका छन्। अझै पनि यादव कता छन्, कसैलाई थाहा छैन। उनी सम्पर्कविहीन छन्। त्यसैले भूमिगत छन् भन्दा हुन्छ। आज सञ्चार माध्यमहरुमा उपेन्द्र यादवको वक्तव्यको समाचार छापिएको छ। त्यो वक्तव्य मैले त हेर्न पाएको छैन (कसैसित छ भने पठाउनुस् है) तर विभिन्न सञ्चारमाध्यममा आएका समाचारका अनुसार यादवले गौर घटना माअोवादीको षड्यन्त्र भएको आरोप लगाएका छन्। आफ्नै कार्यकर्तालाई मारेर माअोवादीले ठूलै षड्यन्त्र गरेछन् त्यसोभए ?
वक्तव्यमा यसका लागि माअोवादी अध्यक्ष प्रचण्ड र गृहमन्त्री कृष्णप्रसाद सिटौलाले जिम्मेवारी लिनुपर्ने बताएका छन्। अर्थात्, आफू चाहिँ चोखो ! फोरम र फोरम अध्यक्षको चाहिँ कुनै जिम्मेवारी छैन। सबै दोष अरु कै थाप्लामा।
उपेन्द्र यादवको वक्तव्यमा घटनाको बारेमा छानबिन गर्न संयुक्त राष्ट्र संघ र अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय मानवअधिकार संगठनको संलग्नतामा उच्चस्तरीय आयोग गठनको माग पनि गरिएको छ।
आयोग गठन र नेपालका आयोगहरुले कस्तो काम गर्छन् भन्ने उनलाई राम्रैसँग थाहा छ जस्तो छ। त्यसैले मागै त हो, गरिदिए।
वक्तव्यमा बिहीबार गर्ने भनी पहिले नै घोषणा गरिएको सिंहदरबार घेराउ कार्यक्रम स्थगित गरिएको र त्यसको साटो सोमबार कालो दिन भन्दै तराई बन्दको आह्वान गरिएको छ।
फोरमले अनिश्चितकालीन तराई बन्द गर्ने कार्यक्रमको जनस्तरबाटै अवज्ञा हुन थालेपछि हतारमा फोरमले बन्द फिर्ता लिई भन्सार नाकाबन्दी गर्ने र सिंहदरबार घेर्ने कार्यक्रम गरेको थियो।
अब अहिलेको स्थितिमा फोरमले राजधानीमा आएर सिंहदरबार घेर्ने भनेको संभव कुरा हैन। गर्नै नसक्ने कार्यक्रम कसरी गर्नु, अनि फिर्ता लिए।
त्यसको साटो तराईमा फेरि तनाव बढाउन बन्द घोषणा गरिदिए। जिम्मेवार शक्ति भएको भए यसरी फेरि तनाव बढ्ने काम गर्दैन थियो।
फोरम भनेको कुनै राजनीतिक दल हैन। यो त एनजीअोका रुपमा दर्ता भएको संस्था हो। भारतीय दूतावासबाट पैसा लिएर मधेशको नाममा गोष्ठी, प्रतिवेदन तयार पार्ने काम थियो रे यसको। माअोवादीले लहानमा गोली चलाएर एक विद्यार्थी मारेपछि सिंगो तराई आन्दोलित भएको थियो। अनि अकस्मात् यसले चर्चा पायो। मधेशका जायज मागको आवरणमा विभिन्न शक्तिको खेल्ने मैदान भइदियो फोरम। राजावादी मण्डले, हतियार व्यापारी, विदेशी शक्ति, हिन्दू अतिवादी सबका सबले उचाले यसलाई। यसैको चरमोत्कर्ष थियो गौरको त्यो मान्छेले गरेको भन्नलाई पनि लाज हुने घटना।

गिरिजा सरकार ले गर्न खोजेको के हो भन्ने अहिले सम्मा प्रस्त छैन, १४७,१८१ बर्ग कि मि भित्र बसोबाश गरी रहेका सम्पुर्न जनता नेपाली हुन भनेर सोच्न नसक्ने यस्ता हुतिहाराअ सरकार र उनि हरुका समर्थक हरु देश को हरेक भबितब्य र दुर्भाग्य का जिम्मेवर हुन ।

There is no doubt that he is being horribly irresponsible by not taking the killing of 29 paople seriousely and instead of apologizing he announced another strike.This vindicates the motives of a man who claims to be working for the people of terai. This would in fact increase the chances of more confrontation. And may be another bloodbath,why he is choosing this violent way?? It’s clear , he doesnot want to loose a grip from terai. A fear factor which he has created is very effective tactic in somewhat lawless terai, and is extremely similar to the one used by Prachanda in his early days and is in fact idolising the self proclaimed maoist supremo.
But I agree with him in one point, there should be a independent inquiry by the UN, not by the govt. ,who now we know is highly incompetent even handling the daily neccessities of people. We should invite the experts from the international community to have an thorough and fair investigation as the massacre is no longer an internal affair, there seems to be more than one community or elements involved.
Would maoists accept that?? I have doubts because they are afraid that when UN would involved, it will ask for the investigation in the massacres like, madi,beheading of the teacher, a journalist by the maoists aswell. So they are avoiding the UN and asking for the political inquiry where they can have their own people inside and distort the findings and blame everything on Roayalists, Hindu extremists,Americans and all their opponents.Not even a child buys that now!!
If they considers themselves as a responsible party they have to come up with the evidence before making any allegations, they sould not compete with a criminal gang (as per prachanda) for a space in a town as big as Gaur. Is it not the fact that they were trying to bully MRPF by announcing the event at the same place?? Is it not the fact that they are loosing the ground and fear factor in terai ??They were thrashed and humiliated by MRPF and isn’t it a fact that they wanted to take revenge in some way??There is no doubt that crimminals of the massacre of the 29 people,should be brought to justice.After all they are Nepalese, who were brainwashed by the socalled revolutionary leaders to kill and be killed in such an unneccessary way.Had Prachanda spoken a word about the rationality of such an unneccessay confrontation with MRPf. Why he should not be held respobsible for these killings as he misleaded them to death. So when you make an inquiry you should make it clear who in the leadership has ordered to organize the rally and aamsabha on the same date and same venue knowing that MRPF has already announced that, way before. Even knowing that these two groups are not with good terms and had brawls many times who allowed the local leaders to go ahead?
