कतारमा एक नेपालीको हत्या गरी मासु खाए रे भन्ने हल्ला कतारमा निकै फैलिएको छ। कतारको एउटा पत्रिकाले यस विषयमा समाचार छापेपछि झन् त्यस्तो हल्ला व्यापक भएको छ। यस विषयमा कतार मै बस्नुहुने एक नेपाली ज्ञान राईसित गरिएको टेलिफोन कुराकानी सुन्न भित्र आउनुस्।

Nepalese embassy and consulate abroad never work for the benifit of the Nepali people.They are given salary by the tax collected by these nepali people,but they work only for their family and kins.I have heard so many fact news about Qatars and middle east Nepali missions earning illegal money through manpower smuggling.I am just awaring them now but if they do not immidiately correct themselves, i might be compell to upload their name and activities they are involved in.
    Beware all the Nepalese missions abroad…

  21. The news was unbelievably horrible and shameful, but the embassy statement that they are concerned about Nepalese is just a lie. We Nepalese having been abroad have to be envy of our colleagues from other countries who are so much cared from their respective embassy officials.

  29. It is very unbelievable circumstances that cannibalism still exist and to that our nepali brother is the victim. Instead of verifying the incident and taking necessary action, embessay staff deny it and take it as rumour.It’s hopeless that nepali embassy both at qatar and saudi are not doing any active works.
    I remember, last year, here in saudi, a dead body a nepali housemaid was found. Arabnews published the story. It said that she was working in an indian family and police had arrested the indian. But during this time both the arabnews and police tried to contact the nepali embassy, but it said none were available for comments.
    So, if embassy is strong like that of philiphines or srilanka, then, i think nepali would not be victim of all sorts of abuses and such incidents.

  36. this kind of rare instincts resides within a human mind. It’s called cannibalism. There may be normal looking people even in our society with cannibal instinct, who are constrained to eat human flesh because of law and order. If they are given, they happily kill and eat human meat easily.

    if this news is true, those Vietnamese should be legally treated well.

    watch hollywood movie called ‘HOSTEL part I and II’. you’ll get idea how animal can a human be. This is just an imaginary fiction but still it reveals that normal people has instinct of cannibalism.

    I don’t think that the news is true. It is completely baseless. No prove to be a Nepalese there…….for the victim.
    I think Indian Newspapers are always against Nepal any time. They are dominating us with rumours and scandles.
    Hope we have to keep silence……without being clairified by the concerned authorities.

    THE Nepal embassy yesterday reiterated that the mission firmly believed that the “reports” about a Nepalese worker being “killed” and “eaten” by his colleagues from a South East Asian country were only “rumours”.
    Speaking to Gulf Times yesterday, the charge d’affaires at the Nepalese mission, Ram Kaji Khadka, said that on the basis of some reports published in Qatar, the embassy had contacted the local authorities but “they could not enlighten us on the issue”.
    Khadka said they had also made enquiries in some camps of the company where the ‘incident’ was purported to have taken place but nothing suspicious could be found.
    “Just like any other embassy, we are also very much bothered about the safety and security of our nationals and that was why we used all our channels to ascertain if any Nepalese national was killed in such a way as described by some newspapers (not Gulf Times),” he said.
    The official said the mission had contacted some senior police officials investigating the ‘incident’ yesterday, but they clarified that what was being heard had nothing to do with truth and what appeared in newspapers seemed to be “rumours” only.
    Asked if that meant somebody else had been a victim of cannibalism, Khadka said: “The only thing that I believe is that no Nepalese has been killed or eaten like what has been reported in newspapers.”

    Moreover, Nepalese should have some patience at this moment before vandalizing Manpower agencies this time.
