राप्रपाले छोड्यो राजाको साथ

गठन हुँदैदेखि संवैधानिक राजतन्त्रको वकालत गर्ने राष्ट्रिय प्रजातन्त्र पार्टीको जारी महाधिवेशनले विधानबाट संवैधानिक राजतन्त्रलाई विधिवत हटाएको छ। अब राप्रपा राजतन्त्र निरपेक्ष पार्टीका रुपमा रहेको छ। काँग्रेस र अझ माअ‍ोवादी भित्रैबाट राजालाई काँध थाप्ने खालको संकेत देखिरहेको बेला राजावादीको छवि बनाएका नेताहरुको पार्टीले गरेको यो निर्णय तपाईँलाई कस्तो लाग्यो ? मनमा लागेका कुरा हामीसित बाँड्नुस्।

  2. Last week, Sujata koirala was in the news or much for a hectic tour to Delhi. She spoke ‘-If the country can survive by retaining the monarchy, what’s is wrong @If we make the king democrat, we can even revive the 1990 constitution.Nobody needs to object to a monarchy as a symbol of our cultural, religious identity. There are many developed country which still have monarchy.If we strengthen the democracy from grass root level to the top, monarchy can not do any harm to us.I do not will quarantee democracy.

Is it a coincidence that among the top 20 there are ten independent monarchies and three more [ Australia, Canada, and New Zealand ] that are constitutional monarchies under the Commonwealth, reconging Queen Elizabeth 11 as their ceremonial head of state.And in the bottom 20 there is not a single monarchy.Indeed the bottom list contains the former monarchy of Ethiopia, which at rank 170 out of 177 has little to show in terms of human development gains from its 1974 revolution that deposed Haile Sellasie, the major achievement of republican Ethiopia has been the loss of Eritrea.

  4. Rastriya Prajatantra Party has dumped the monarchy

    Now that even the Rastriya Prajatantra Party has dumped the monarchy, the republican agenda has lost its sheen.And any adoption of fully propotional electoral system will be credited to the Madhesi Janadhikar Forum and Janjati activists rather than the Maoist.

    We have a rich king in the poor country. The feudal monarchy institution has no place in 21 century Nepal. It has to be wiped out before all troubles will cease.

  24. KP’s lakonic statement may be significant

    Two years ago KP Bhattarai vehemently opposed the agreement between the seven party alliance and the Maoist in New Delhi. His silence spoke louder than words during the April Upring. When king was forsed to restore parliament,, Bhattarai as MP did not even bother to attend. When the house passed the interim constitution he was absent.

    But cercumstances are not normal. The election were deferred at the last minute. There is no new date. The Maoist have called for a special session of parliament to debate the fate of a suspended king. According to the amended interim constitution, the legeslature can vote out the monarchy by two-third majority if it is found that the king had been hatching conspiracies against elections.

    But who is to judge who is against polls if it is Maoist who keep shifting the goal post. Meanwhile in the country side, the mountains are restive and plains are smouldering.

    This is why KP’s laconic statement may be significant. Whatever else he may be this life long warrior for democracy can not be dismissed lightly as royal lackey. There must be something that makes him fear for Nepal’s nationality, integrity and independence.

    Nobody is follower BHAKTA of King. Nobody like gyane and PAras and any SAMANTI raja, nobody has respect for them. (WHo has respect for him? Is he god? he is demon, killed own brother and sister! Is he man definitely he is DEMON,All who r behind him to fullfill their interest. RAJA is praised by some LOVIPAPI and SAMANTI to get benifit from him.
    RPP basically PASHUPATI Samser do not need gyane anyumore. (PAsupati lai pani gyane hatyara ra paras gunda lai SIRA nihurauna laja lagdo hola ni)

    Politics is not guided by ASTHA but with voice of people, RPP is not so fool to run behind king blindly.

The present move of RA.PR.PA.is nothing more than a way of presenting themselves in a new way and justifying their place in nepali politics .In the past they become ministers under king regime and had supported the monarchy.But they must have realised that not only them but the members of other parties take their chance to work under king’s cabinet.They must have felt why to come openly in support of monarchy.Like other parties they thought of removing the constitutional monarchy from their agenda but still supporting the king.As we have all been observing that the other parties have all chanted republican state but no one knows what is under their sleeves.This motive of rephrasing RA.PR.PA must have come after they held talks with Maoist and other parties.
    I don’t see any other motive then fooling the innocent public and cautiously keeping power with themselves.We also have been seeing the same motive behind govinda and khum alike.They want to keep the things as it is now .All of them know that it will help no other than the politician themselves as they will not be dethroned from their power and there will be less chance of other people replacing them.
